The birthplace of speed! This is a great venue! Rebuilt, but in the original location of where the Daytona 500 started. Decorated with very old race, cars, and some fabulous old Timey pictures. Went in for lunch and my wife, niece, and nephew, thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The server was super friendly, and on the spot as far as drinks and refills. The food was good, but not great. But the atmosphere made up for it. Lots of history, and a great feel for some people who just came from the Daytona 500 the previous day. Really good with a toasted bun but still nice and soft. Candyce had the BYOB, build your own burger. Said it was really juicy and done right. Along with the cauliflower NOT buffaloed and tater tots. Only a low rating because of their lack of customer service. We picked this place to try something new and this place came up as "kid friendly". When we arrived, we asked for a high chair for our 1.5 year old. We were quickly told we only have two and they are both in use sorry. I was shocked that a place that advertises as "kid friendly" would only have two high chairs. This is definitely a place I would recommend for any occasion. They have quite a large menu and everyone I was with ordered something different; we all liked our dishes. They have a list of burger choices, but you can also make your own starting at $7. I had a hot dog that was nicely toasted. We also had tater tots which were some of the best I've ever had. They had the perfect crunch. The service was great as well. You can seat yourself and then someone will come by with menus. All the staff we interacted with were kind and on top of it. We got our food quickly. The place itself is also quite nice. They played some 80s new wave music, but it wasn't too loud. They have lots of tvs all around playing someone different so everyone can find something to enjoy. The place was clean and family friendly. Would definitely come back. read more

This was one of the coolest restaurants I've been in. I liked how they have lots of auto shop decor and old photos of what the place use to look like when it was an actual auto shop. The service was also good. We were able to sit right away and then waited a reasonable time for our food. I got the French Dip with grilled onion included. The meat was good and the dip was tasty. I also got a side of tots which I didn't grab a photo of but it was one of the best tarot tots I've had. They were perfectly crispy and the seasoning was delicious. One of our favorite spots in the neighborhood! Ormond Garage is one of our go-to restaurants on nights we don't feel like cooking. The service is always fast and the food is delicious. There are tons of big screen TVs for those who want to watch sports and lots of interesting decor with local historical flare to explore for the rest of us. We usually order a couple of the sandwiches or some chicken wings. I'm a big fan of their Build Your Own Burger and my husband loves the French dip sandwich. Their buffalo wings are top notch and they offer a ton of other flavors if buffalo isn't your thing. Foodwise, the main event has to be their side dishes. We always make sure to get a large order of the tater tots or truffle fries. They arrive crispy, hot and full of yummy flavor. I think the truffle fries are especially delicious and they don't skimp on the parmesan topping. I'm not a beer drinker but my husband loves to try whatever new beer they have on tap whenever we go. What a wonderful place! My family and I were in town visiting and Ormond Garage was recommended to us. We stopped in on a Friday night to grab some dinner. Walked right in and sat our selves. Waitress approached us soon there after, gave us our menus and took our drink order. Food was great, we got a bunch of stuff (chimichuri tacos, burger, wings, fries and the kids nuggets) everything came out quick and was tasty. Plenty of TVs around to watch whatever sporting event you'd like. The night we were there there was some live music also a plus. Really good vibes for lunch at this unique old school garage car themed resturant. First of all, they are a microbrewery and the beer was great! Lots of options on draft. Food was really great, I recommend the fish bites. The breading was SO GOOD. A bit sweet actually. I ordered the tachos as an entree, but definitely order to share with friends. Highly recommend. Our friends introduced us to the Ormond Garage for post lunch beers. We liked the microbrew feel and vibe this converted space brings to the table. The bar area is small yet personable and the dining room has plenty of seating. There is a great patio out back to enjoy after sunset. They have quite a few racing relics that tap into the buildings former identity. The service was great, letting us sample a few brews so we could feel comfortable with our choices. The beers are pretty solid and the staff was eager to tell us alittle about how they brew and what's in production. We saw some good food getting churned out of the tiny kitchen so they definitely have your "fix". read more

The brewed-in-house beers are all excellent and I highly suggest the Juicy! A household favorite of ours are the Buffalo Cauliflower, which are absolutely excellent here! Pretty much everything on the menu is quite tasty! The service and bartenders are very kind and hospitable and are quick to correct any issues and refill your drinks if you'd like! I've never had a bad experience here, and I frequent this establishment often! This place is always clean and comforting, and trivia nights are quite fun with a group of friends, but show up early because tables get taken up FAST! Would highly recommend! read more

Love the theme of the place. Our server was very pleasant and brought samples for the local hard ciders. Burgers were delicious, my son and I had breakfast burgers with maple syrup on the side. Bacon was crisp and eggs were perfectly jelly like. Sweet potato tots were delicious. My wife had the hot honey garlic wings 10-count. They were big wings, really no need for a 20 count for just one person. They are spicy though so be forewarned. I had the grilled seasonal vegetables, it was green and red sliced bell peppers, zucchini and yellow squash, and onions. I will say they probably needed a little bit more of salt and pepper but otherwise they were cooked perfectly. We started eating so quickly I forgot to take pictures. What an awesome new brewery! This was my first time coming to Ormond Garage and won't be my last. I stopped in for an early dinner Sunday while I was out-n-about exploring the area. Ormond Garage is somewhat hidden. Most people would drive right past it but it is literally one of the last businesses on the right-hand side of Granada Blvd just before crossing the Halifax river going East toward A1A. The interior is beautifully done, warm and inviting. I love the gas pumps, bar area and seating layout. There is a large outdoor patio with additional seating, multiple TV's available for watching Events and several interactive games throughout the venue. The food and beer are reasonably priced and are quite delicious as well. Today, I sat at the bar and ordered a Flight that included: Mosaic IPA ($2.50), Amber Ale ($1.75), Coffee Brown Ale (2.25), Imperial Milk Stout ($3.75) and asked to taste the American Lager (free). I enjoyed all the beers! I don't know how many times I have ordered a Flight at other breweries and only liked one or two of the beers. I would definitely return to order a pint of any one of these beers in the future. For dinner, I ordered the Pork Belly Cuban Sandwich ($10.50) and substituted sauteed vegetables for Fries/chips ($4 more). I was initially caught off guard with the price of the veggies however, they were freshly cooked to order. There was at least 8-10 ounces of cooked peppers, onions, zucchini and summer squash provided. The veggies were made just for my order and I will cough up $4 for that! The sandwich was perfect! The bread was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside; loaded with pickles, cheese, mustard, mayo and a good quantity of ham and pork belly. I have had plenty of Cuban sandwiches in the past but never a Pork Belly one and this was just awesome. Before leaving I stopped in to check out the bathroom. You know a Brewery really loves their craft when they take it a step further and fabricate beer kegs to be used as sinks and urinals in the bathrooms. I have seen this before at some other breweries but feel the need to acknowledge it in this review. I hope that all the hard work and efforts the owners put into building this venue help the Brewery stand out among the seemingly endless Craft Breweries popping up almost daily. I had a great experience at Ormond Garage. All the staff were friendly and welcoming. The service was great and food/beer were delicious. I will definitely let my friends know about this brewery and plan to return in the very near future. read more

This place is an Ormond classic for me! I've been here a plethora of times over the last three years, with both small and large parties, and have always had a wonderful experience. The servers are friendly and somehow manage to remember the entire table's order without writing it down or messing it up. Loved it! We went here for dinner with friends since it was highly recommended. We weren't disappointed. It's a wide open space for indoor seating and also has a good amount of outdoor seating, too. Walked into the restaurant and they had a sign that said "seat yourself". Which we did. Our party of 6 sat an empty table. The server then comes up to us and asks if we are apart of the golf tournament. We said no. She then informed us that the table was reserved. Mind you, the table had no sign stating we could not sit there. The only sign posted was at the door stating to seat yourself. She then informs us that we can sit outside. It was down pouring outside and the tables outside only had an umbrella. We told her this and she just shrugged her shoulders. We left and chose a better restaurant. If you are going to reserve tables for an event then you should have signs saying that. read more

The Garage is my number one go to spot to take family and friends to in Ormond. Inside or outdoor seating, a great place to watch sports, and they even have games you can grab to play at your table. Food must try's: Pretzel with beer cheese. This is the best pretzel I have had to date. The Garage burger, bowl of chili, and the Parmesan truffle fries are also high on the list. All of their beers are great! Service is always pretty good, the only thing is they don't have hosts so you have to work to get a table and that can be annoying with large groups. read more
