Really lovely place... large area but still feels very personal and intimate…read more Was truly deserving of a 5 Star rating but the Wonton Shrimp hit a flat note and was so out of sync with everything else we ordered. Almost tasted like pre flavoured frozen shrimp that was microwaved and 5 of them placed in a plate with a ton of salad Now that I've got that out of the at let's move onto everything else that was outstanding Chicken Penne Garden Penne Seafood Linguine Steak Sandwich All of these were authentically flavoured and tasted fresh and light Maybe the seafood linguine could be the same portion size as the pennes ... would be my only suggestion here And then we topped these off with a two bite brownie ... which was delectable and way more than 2 bites When we are in London next, we will make a stop here PS: Also had a wonderful experience while we were waiting for our starters There was a young couple scoping the place and engaged in discussions with the staff about seating arrangements, dates, times, menu options .... When they crossed our table, they apologized for 'invading our privacy'... which they clearly did not ( we are not Canadian if we don't create an opportunity to apologize!). When I told them that they had nothing to be sorry about, I couldn't resist complimenting them about how thorough they seem to be in planning an upcoming dinner... And their response blew me away.... they were in process of booking a table for 8 and selecting the menu because that was going to be their wedding dinner Wow... just wow In a world in which I've seen and experienced more than my fair share of ostentatious weddings with hordes of people... this couple were just such a refreshing breath of fresh air... we wish them very happiness And thank you Emily for taking such good care of us

Having spent a weekend earlier in the year in Stratford neither was I keen about some of the prices that the downtown restaurants like to charge. Pazzo Taverna and Pizzeria seemed to be the answer. At 6PM we actually were able to book a 7:30 table. The room was still busy when we arrived and there was a small crowd waiting but we were seated quickly with menus. The bill of fare is pretty much limited to salads, a couple of appetizer choices, a variety of pizzas, and a handful of pasta dishes. Still, a Marco Polo pizza (roast chicken, sun dried tomatoes, feta, & basil) for me and Spaghetti & Meatballs for my spouse suited our dining preferences. My spouse had a glass of a Spanish Red with her meal, I was satisfied with just water. We were impressed that everything on their wine list was available by the glass as well as by the bottle. Also, we got some satisfaction to see Canadian, Italian, and other countries' wines with one particular exception. (As for that, take your annexation threats and stuff it where you're storing all the Bourbon that isn't crossing the border either.) For my wife's spaghetti, the pasta was fresh and the meatballs plentiful. As for my pizza, I found it flavourful with fresh Basil and the crust was thin and crisp. Portion sizes were more and sufficient as we both had something to take away. Service was quick and cheerful. The room cleared out quickly as we expect a lot of tables were headed for an evening curtain. Still, there seem to be a lot of hard surfaces and it can get a bit loud, it did get a lot better once more tables departed. While not cheap we felt we received value for money, especially compared to some of the other nearby establishments. We'll still go there but from time to time it's nice not to have to fork over 3-digits on a dinner for two.

Service: 4 Food: 3 We ordered the burrata which was pretty good though it was more gritty that smooth inside like the ones I've had at some other places. We had two pizzas and their toppings were great, but I prefer a more light/airy crust. This one was quite hard and on the chewy side. The kale salad was delicious and the best out of the 3 .
