The owner -- Chris Doris -- waited for an opportunity to catch my son alone and rudely told him his taking photos "didn't pay the bills" and that he was "blocking customers." My son has autism and is taking a program at Fanshawe College. It is very sad that this member of the "friendly and respected staff" missed an opportunity to connect with a potential customer. Sure, it could be more economical to buy the whole fruit or veg -- and you can do that here, of course -- but as a solo and indecisive cook, the pre-cut smaller portions work for me. They have many options in that vein, but also a full and colourful selection of local produce. Fresh herbs, too. Plus many jams, sauces & dry pasta to compliment your shopping. It's the only place in the market I get my fruits & vegetables from.
