Went there this past Friday and loved it. Did their breakfast special, which was only $8.50. Hashbrowns were AMAZING. Loved the seasoning they used. Very quick to come out. Friendly staff. Will be going back :).

Breakfast special

I ordered take out breakfast this morning for my family this morning and was highly disappointed by the quality of the food. I use to enjoy eating here but it's like they stopped caring and got lazy about their food service. We ordered 2 breakfast specials + the symphony. First of all none of us received our toast. The potatoes are like triple deep fried and were inedible because they were rock hard. The ham was chewy and seemed old. Beans are like soup and gross. When I called to voice my complaint, I was met with "what do you want me to do about it?!" by a young man over the phone. I will never eat here again. The chef clearly doesn't care and management allows garbage food to be served to customers. If I wanted to eat a bunch of leftovers and old food, I would have opened my own fridge and warmed something up.

Chocolate chip waffles

My brother treated me to brunch on Saturday, and he gave me the choice of choosing where to go. I chose the Singing Chef since the menu seems delicious! Once we arrived (noon on Saturday), we waited for around 15 minutes to be seated. The restaurant was super busy, and very loud which I don't like. It was so loud that when my waitress came around, we had difficulty hearing each other. Our waitress was super nice, but once our food arrived, she just disappeared. I wanted more water but she never came back. The food is reasonably priced and it came out quickly, especially since the restaurant was so busy. I ordered the Chocolate Chip Waffles and they were delicious! Overall, I would definitely recommend this place, and I would return sometime soon to try out more items on the menu. But maybe I'll go during a less busy time.

You can tell everything is made in-house, which is impressive given their wide range of offerings:…read morequiches, sandwiches, cookies, muffins; they have it all. The ingredients are high quality, and the flavours are thoughtfully developed. Pink lemonades are often too sweet, but this one was perfectly balanced. The lemon square was nicely tart, the quiche had generous chunks of feta, and the muffin had that rich, buttery flavour you only get from homemade baked goods. Service was bubbly and helpful, and the interior was quaint. There's just enough seating outside, with a setup that lets you choose between sun or shade. Special mention for offering the London Fog iced; my first time trying it, and it is now my new go-to. Prices were surprisingly reasonable considering the quality. Easily the best coffee shop I've tried in London so far.

On top of that, requesting light milk doesn't seem to resonate with the server or change the outcome of the drink. We like the outside patio but it's usually just pestering with bees bc of their open lid garbage can sitting directly in the middle of the patio. So although I want to give this place a good review and rating, it seems quite difficult to do so. P.S. why do they serve jamaican patties?

During our holiday visit to London, our family recommended the Happiness Café. So one rainy…read moreafternoon we parked across the street hopped over some road construction and blew thru the doors. The first impression of décor and display, it is clean, intentional, thoughtful and cozy. We perused the menu and I decided on the fig and cheese croissant, accompanied by an espresso martini. We found our seats at a table and I could not take my eyes off the artistic desserts on display. One in particular was a tree ornament, made of cake, it was shiny and beautiful, almost too pretty too eat. Almost. My only regret is that I didn't enjoy one, but I was too full after lunch. Our meals were delivered to our table and even though I wasn't very hungry when we arrived, the look and smell of the food fueled my appetite. My croissant creation was filled with fresh ingredients and the decadent combination of savory and sweet hit the spot. The espresso martini was wonderful, even my picky husband liked it. To our delight, we had the opportunity to meet the owners, a husband and wife team. Both very stylish, with warm smiles and welcoming conversation. The wife is the pastry chef, I had to wonder if she ever had time to sleep considering the array of beautiful desserts on display and what it must take to perfect them, individually. We look forward to returning on our next visit to London hopefully during the warmer months to enjoy their patio, and THIS time, dessert first! And maybe second! Now that we are back home in Los Angeles, I find myself wishing we had a Happiness Café. I was in Beverly Hills yesterday at the Rodeo Collection and I visited a café with hopes that it might compare, but it was missing the warmth and artistry of Happiness Café.

Good atmosphere, Coffee and Hot Chocolate are top notch. Went with my girlfriend and have a good…read moretimes. One thing to note if you want to visit is the place doesn't have public wifi.

Stopped by for a driving break in London…read more Grabbed a small green tea and a large peppermint mocha latte with oat milk. Comes with two shots of espresso only. C$11.30, about $8.12 or so. Staff are warm and friendly. Looks like I ended up with a bigger cup in the end for my tea. The smaller is what I wanted though. As such the tea was weak and didn't have much flavor. I did a double take on the label, it's Bigelow. The peppermint mocha latte wasn't bad.

The name caught my eye at first because I thought it was Eritrean and my spidey senses were spot on. For anyone who claims to know anything about coffee, you know that Eritreans have a whole ceremony dedicated to this process. I had high hopes and I was not disappointed! I ordered a flat white with no sugar, so I could really taste the quality of the coffee. My drink was smooth, delicious, and sweet. I loved the coffee so much I ended up buying a bag of the same roast to take home. A family-owned business and I was greeted by the owner when I walked in. They're so nice here! There's plenty of seating to do some work, read or catch up with friends. The only thing I'd improve is getting some wifi set up. They also have sandwiches, food, and desserts which I didn't end up getting a chance to try but the options are there. Can't wait to go back!
