Classic diner! This is a great spot for groups, breakfast and lunch. Service is great and the food came quickly. Our server understood that kids need to eat sooner than later, so she took the initiative to get the kids orders in before the adults had decided. I liked that the high chair for the baby was table height. Good food and good portions! read more

Angel's - Eggs Benny - Diners Near Me - London, Ontario

We went to Angels for breakfast. The waitress was terrific.. polite, considerate and helpful. But the food was disappointing. My husband ordered a fried egg sandwich with a side of crisp bacon. The bacon was not crisp and after a few bites into the sandwich, he pulled out a hair. It was a disappointment to say the least. We won't be returning or encouraging others to dine there. read more

This is my family's go-to diner since moving here. The food is simple but delicious, the portions are very good & the staff are like family. The owner works hard alongside her staff & she knows most of her customers. Service is great. We love coming here. read more

Went at lunchtime on a Saturday - seated right away, staff was attentive and friendly. Busy place, a little noisy but we didn't find it a problem. Lots of tall comfortable booths and everything was very clean. We ordered off the breakfast menu and our food tasted great! Big portions, scrambled eggs cooked perfectly and nice thick toast. Enjoyed our visit - would definitely return read more

Stopped here after reading some reviews as we were in the area for a business trip. Quick service to be seated and order our food. Our waitress was fairly attentive and highly recommended a few things on the menu. Portions were a good size and food was good. Price for two people was reasonable too. Menu was huge and a bit overwhelming. Would probably be a good place for breakfast. read more

Busy place! Service was quick and friendly, food was hot and plentiful and very good. We're coming back!

I've never ordered food in person here but I've done several Uber Eats orders, all of which have consisted of good quality breakfast. The Angel's Omelette (I think that's what it's called) is excellent and consists of bacon, mushrooms, onions, and more. I always get that whenever I order from here. I do find the home fries that come with the omelette a bit too starchy. Other than that though, I happily continue to order from here again and again, especially considering the prices here are quite reasonable. read more

August 22 , breakfast on Sunday . It's been years since we were here , but I recall the oddity of 2 egg or 3 eggs but not 2 ? Omelettes are 4 egg ! Waitress was good , friendly. Attentive . Refreshed coffee and checked in with us , we were able to use debit at table Lots of food on plates , took some time but it was a Busy Sunday . Problems , 2 it's hot inside and Noisy I'm not sure of air conditioning ? But the noise of others talking and the banking and crashing of dishes reminded me of a busy large high school cafeteria in the 1970s Poor acoustics , no ceiling fansl, not enough air c read more

I love this place for breakfast. The menu is huge and the prices are reasonable. (I do find it funny that you can order one egg or three eggs but not two eggs.) The portions are generous and the staff are nice. It's generally pretty busy but I have never felt neglected by the staff. I look forward to going back. read more

Angel's - Interesting... you can get three eggs or one egg, but not two eggs. - Diners Near Me - London, Ontario

Slow service and no straws workers are rude. And my friend that can't eat solids cause he has no teeth had his soup come cold

I brought my family here tonight for dinner It was amazing. And not overly busy as I'll admit this wasn't our first choice but the other restaurant had a 40 min wait :( But it worked out awesome for us My wife said the fish was a bit greasy but non the less still awesome My kid had grilled cheese which she seemed to enjoy I had a chicken Cesar wrap with a poutine. The fries are amazing! The wrap was good but I had to add some hot sauce to get a good zing! The only disappointing thing is they don't have a medium sauce or anything in house similar as to avoid hot but still get some flavour! Great service nice place. Easy to park. We will be back for breakfast soon!!! read more

Mediocre of the mediocre.... --- Food --- Pricing of food can be ok I suppose, but no specials that blow me away. The fruit boat, unlike a previous review, was not a mountain of fruit. It was a small portion, and for 4.99, not something I would purchase again. The chicken sandwich was surprisingly a little above average. The chicken is whole instead of parts, and is grilled instead of fried. The vegetables were good and the goat cheese sauce was mediocre. --- Coffee --- Absolute garbage. How can you run a breakfast place, and serve cold, watered down coffee. It was not brought hot, so what's the point of even bringing it.. --- Service --- Well. Normally I'm not this harsh but I guess I'll break that. This place is staffed by older women and kids. It seems to be family run, hard to tell, other than the blatant indentured servitude of the poor kids that seemingly hate their job. I understand employing your kid if they want to, but this place seems like the place to employ a kid and then say "sure well pay you but also you owe us rent equal to what we are paying you". --- Overall --- I will not be returning here. Only reason its not a 1 star is because the chicken sandwich was above average for some reason. read more

I came here with my friend and her little girl for breakfast. We both had the Eggs Bennie, and her daughter just got a side order of bacon and was going to have some of the fruit that came with our meal. At first, I thought the prices were a bit much, but when our meal came, I changed my mind. Her daughter's side order of bacon was a huge plate full. My Eggs Bennie was not only delicious, but the serving size was huge, and I couldn't even eat some of the large fruit bowl, so I gave the rest to her daughter. It had kiwi and raspberries and bananas and cantaloupe and pineapple. So great! read more

I gave a great rating for this place last time but this time not so much. It was more the service or lack there of service that occurred... we came here this evening and spent 10-15 minutes waiting for a waitress patiently. No one ended up coming so we politely stood up to leave and got greeted with one of the waitresses on the way out. She said to us (with attitude) as I smiled and walked past her "well are you staying or going?!." I said "we were leaving" politely. And she proceeded to give us more attitude and said "bye!" I understand if they were busy or if something was going on but I'm sorry there is no excuse for attitude to customers that constantly go there to support the business. We won't be coming back here for a while. read more

I am sure I was here a few years ago and for some reason, I don't recall being impressed. Today we stopped in for breakfast. It was very busy, about a 15 minute wait to be seated. The place was packed. There is a lot of variety on the menu. After we ordered, I was impressed at how fast the food arrived. The servers were polite and attentive. The food was as expected. Just like an average breakfast place. I am not saying that as a negative. Large portions. Good prices. One thing I did like was the condiments. A lot of places bring you one jam packet for your toast. Here, we got a nice size basket with some variety. I recommend this place for breakfast. I will be sure to check it out for dinner some time. Note that there is an up charge for rye toast instead of regular, and we were not told when asked what kind of toast we wanted. I don't like that sort of thing. -1 star. read more

Three family couples met for breakfast. We chose to sit on the patio at a picnic table for 6. Sherri, our waitress, was fabulous - friendly, accommodating, great service. I had the Farmer's Skillet with the optional choice of a fresh fruit boat. Very tasty, extremely generous portion - did not need to eat lunch later. I highly recommend this restaurant. read more

I have just had (arguably) the best breakfast in my life. No joke, it was that good and it was cheap. For $6.49, I got an extremely delicious breakfast of 3 eggs, 5 pieces of bacon, pan fried potatoes, 2 slices of toast and an orange slice. The breakfast menu here is quite extensive. Looking forward to my trip back to London and especially to Angel's in January. read more

Came here for a family brunch. Very packed. Seating for 9 was accommodated. Drinks arrived in a timely manner but we waited over 35 minutes for food. Breakfast items were apparently good, eggs, sausage and pancakes.. hard to mess up. Lunch items including the tilapia and pasta were very sub par. Stick to breakfast or burgers.. anything exotic, fish, pasta or chicken dishes should be avoided. Let's hope the next time they can improve.. read more

We have given this restaurant many chances to wow us. Today was the last straw. Served breakfast after tables that were seated after us ( we both ordered the weekday special , just eggs, bacon and toast) Stuff in our salt shaker, that was not salt (black and larger than pepper). Food under cooked. Toast wasn't even toasted. The only good thing i can say is the waitress was pleasant and no issues with her. Will not be returning. read more

Angels is one of our go to breakfast spots. Reasonably priced, lots of seating and a diverse menu that has everything from traditional bacon and eggs to more adventurous dishes like breakfast poutine. I have never been disappointed by breakfast here. The service is usually great, but it can be slow when the restaurant it packed - unless you're there early, expect them to be busy. They don't have a knock your socks off breakfast dish, but they turn out good food consistently at a reasonable price point. read more

The owner went above and beyond her job today. I was injured by a door while waiting. She came out cleaned and bandaged my foot and made. Me feel much more comfortable. The food was great and the service was excellent especially considering it was Father's Day. read more

One of my favourite breakfast spots! Portions are big and the food is delicious. The breakfast menu is far more extensive than most breakfast places. The fresh fruit boat is not a tiny little bowl of fruit. It is a massive mountain of fruit (and its fresh). The lunch/dinner is also amazing. The portions for dinner are also huge! The chocolate cake is unbelievable and definitely shareable. read more

bad service and the food sucks. you literally wait 30 minutes to o be served and wait another to get the food. do not recommend. i can't even get started on how the food tastes, i came here like 2 years ago ish. and they served me beside the door and the food was uncooked. can't believe i came back read more

Just moved to London and decided to try Angel's. Great food, honestly exceptional service, I keep going back.

I had the french toast with scrambled eggs, and it was delicious. When I arrived, the hostess knew I was waiting for someone else and so she put me at the nice big comfortable booth and this was very thoughtful and a smart move, because by the time my guest arrived all the booths were gone. The food was great, but the best part of the experience was the customer service. It was flawless. I was immediately acknowledged and seated, the server was attentive and friendly and obviously very good at her job. She had personality too obviously, as she was interested in us beyond just being our server and made a few observations and added a bit of humour into the interactions. I'll definitely be back. read more

It's your average diner with all day breakfast type feel. I ordered the eggs benny and my husband ordered the big breakfast that contained pretty much 2 of everything - 2 sausage, 2 eggs, 2 bacon, 2 french toast and potatoes. It was good but nothing spectacular. I probably would not come here again and try other breakfast spots. Nonetheless, satisfied our craving for breakfast midday and portion sizes are fair for the price you pay. You def leave feeling full and satisfied. read more

A great place to go to...good value and large portions. Easy to get to on Wharncliffe Rd South of Commissoners. Lots of free parking

This is my least favorite place for breakfast! I have also tried this place for dinner and have to say it was very disappointing!.I found on both occasions the service to be very poor and very friendly at all everyone seems very grumpy! .I find the food to very bland and over cooked. Sad place with sad food and sad people. I still get sad thinking about it sometimes. I got a BLT that had two sad slices of bacon and a really sad old tomato. The salad that came with it was ok. Friday at about 10am. Service was fasy, excellent and courteous. The breakfast was great with good sized portions, and an OK price. It was clean, fast (even for how busy it was) and delicious.
