Nice home style cooking, good service. We stopped over for brunch during our road trip. Nice place with convenient parking at private lot. Service was good. Menu is simple and offers quite a good choices. We had Quesadilla with chicken and Veggie omelette with cheese. Both are home style cooking, simple but good.

Wow! Very nice all day breakfast place but you can have non breakfast as well. Location around is rather bad but the inside is nice and friendly. Staff is very friendly as well. Portions are very nice for the price and the quality is good.

Place was packed but we were seated right away, Food was served with in 20 mins. Everything was great but one negative the vegetarian skillet I order was all hash brown with couple diced onions with eggs on it. There was hardly any other veggie in there. Hubby ordered veggie omelet he loved his food. Everything was good besides that.

Fantastic. Love that the potatoes are grilled. So much flavour and cooked perfectly. Friendly service. Breakfast came out quickly. One of my top breakfast spots in London!!

My friend and I were passing by London on our way home and thought we'd give this place a try based on our location and the previous reviews. This place has the feel of a family-friendly, country diner. There is a large seating area with both tables and booths. Very casual atmosphere. Servers were very friendly and checked on us regularly. The menu is varied with many comfort favourites and they do have a seniors menu as well. Considering it was a Saturday evening they weren't extremely busy and it was quiet enough that you could have a conversation without yelling. Both my friend and I ordered the 'feature' which comes with soup or salad to start and dessert at the end. The salad was A-Ok, it was your typical green salad with fresh vegetables. The entree was where I had the biggest concern as both the vegetable (carrots) and starch (mashed potatoes) didn't taste like anything I'd ever had before, and I don't necessarily mean in a good way. Had there not been such a shocking discrepancy, I wouldn't have cared but I like to be able to identify by taste what I'm eating (I'm funny that way). The main protein (chicken parmigiana) was delicious, tons of melted cheese and baked to perfection. But dessert, oh dessert...that was the highlight! They offer a bowl of jello (something I haven't seen on the menu in years) with IMO the ultimately BEST whipped cream in the world! I grew up with this whipped cream because it was the kind St. Hubert's used when they had restaurants in Ontario. It's sweet and creamy and I could eat it all day. Similar to cool whip but thicker. It made my day, week, month, year! OMG! Price point was reasonable ($14) for the feature and service was exceptional! I'm a new fan of this place! If you're driving on the 401 and want a place to eat skip the big chains nearby and come here. Completely worth it!

My mom came to visit this weekend and this morning before she left she wanted to go out for breakfast, and had been googling places in London, and this place popped up. I think I had been here before, long time ago, I didn't even remember, so coming back was like my first time all over again! We arrived around quarter after ten and walked in and were immediately seated, the restaurant was full of happy patrons and the sounds of a small town diner when you walk in. Our waitress came by right away, and took our drink orders, which were three black coffees, for my mom, boyfriend and I. We perused the menu, which had everything from breakfast to dinner if that's what you wanted. My eyes locked onto the Greek Skillet, which sounded delicious, and my mom got the Pork Skillet and my boyfriend got the BLT with a side of sausage. As we were enjoying each others company, our waitress came back in about 15 minutes with our dishes, piping hot and eggs the way we like em. She was funny and personable and very pregnant. Super impressed she was still working! Good for her. The Greek Skillet tasted delicious, it came with green peppers, onions, spinach and the potatoes were cooked and seasoned perfectly. It was topped with feta cheese and two eggs the way I like them, sunny side up, and a side of rye; you could either get white, brown or rye, but I chose rye today. The food was tasty, and hot, the service was excellent and the ambience felt like a local small town diner. I love when it feels like that, and local is always better, and it's worth it to go again!

I brought my son there for a quick dinner just to get us out of the house for a bit. I tend to avoid the plethora of chains that populate Wellington Rd when I know there's a few local places that break the monotony. I've been a few times for breakfast but this was no first dinner experience. He's a spaghetti and caesar salad type kid so that choice was a no brainer. I opted for the cheeseburger. What I appreciated about the meal was the attention to detail and the value. My homemade burger was $9 and came with homemade soup and fresh cut fries. My son's spaghetti was a little over $10 with a $1.25 surcharge for a caesar salad. The food arrived almost immediately and was hot and fresh. He demolished the pasta and the salad and worked on a few of my fries as well.I found the burger pretty decent as well. I had no issues with the service. They were polite and prompt. I ordered a chicken wrap to go for my daughter (who didn't want to join our boys night out) and they packed it with a bag of salt, pepper, ketchup, utensils etc. Once again, impressive attention to detail. I'm not giving it 5 stars because it's the best place I've ever eaten but in the context of a local, value driven diner with great family values, it's about as good as it gets.

Came here for a quick stop over before heading to Windsor. I was surprised how good was the food! The decor was a little bit out dated but the server was super nice and the food - Oh yum! I didn't expect much from this resturant since the decor outside wasn't all that great, but the food was fantastic. I had the gyro wrap it comes with fries and salad. Really big portions! I would Def. Come back here if I ever come visit again! They have the best homemade fries!!

Best breakfast in town. The only problem with Southside Grill is that it's only open on Friday and Saturday evenings.

This restaurant is unique for its serving style - if you order individual seafood, you eat with your hands from plastic bags. I was pleasantly surprised by the fact that we were able to keep ourselves relatively clean. We ordered a pound of mussels with garlic sauce, crawfish with lemon pepper sauce, and a fish teriyaki dish with seafood assortment. I loved the garlic sauce, as it gave the mussels a great kick. I wouldn't recommend the crawfish, as they don't have much meat. I felt like I was just nibbling the shells for the sauce. However, the fish teriyaki was a solid choice. Overall, it was a filling and tasty meal, and it came out to less than $20 per person. With so few customers in the restaurant, service was relatively prompt, but I would recommend more frequent water refills, as the sauces were quite salty. We had to personally wave over the waitress in order to get water. Otherwise, I would definitely recommend Captain's Boil if you enjoy seafood like I do. Glad they opened up in London!

This time was a dinner for three. We started with a dozen oysters on the half shell that were fresh and delicious. Appreciated that we were notified that they have Happy Hour Tues-Fri 3pm-5pm with 1/2 price oysters. Also had the Fried Smelts which were tasty. Two of us had Craft burgers. This time they did arrive as ordered (last time med rare arrived well done) but they mixed the orders. One was med rare and the other rare. Not nice having to change burgers after each taking a bite. Despite the mix up the juicy burgers and fries were excellent. The other order was the Braised Beef Cheek Birria Grilled Cheese. This was very good but a touch pricey at $28 for what you get. Speaking of price, the craft burger is $24. I asked for a side of mayo for the fries and it arrived promptly. They charged $2 for the mayo which was not mentioned. Considering that our total bill ran $250 it seemed out of place to charge for mayo. One of the best reasons to come to Craft Farmacy is to try craft beers which they rotate regularly. We each enjoyed a beer or two. For desert we ordered their Chai Crème Brûlée and Crack Pie with gelato. Both are highly recommended. We also had glass of sherry that unfortunately was off and had to be sent back. Replaced with a glass of Port. When the bill arrived the sherry was not removed, they did take it out when we caught the mistake. Our meal was much better than the last visit. All of the food was well prepared this time but the little mistakes on burger mixup and sherry on the bill were disappointing. Still if looking for a good burger and a great beer you can do a lot worse than Craft Farmacy.
