UPGRADED RV DINETTE SEAT CUSHIONS Vera and Jose, owners of this uphostery shop in Pflugerville, TX are top notch! We couldn't be happier! Perhaps you CAN'T TELL by looking at these pics. BUT, we REPLACED ALL of the original seat cushions for the dinette. The original seat covers were like economy grade. Worst were the foam padding inside the original cushions. Just NO SUPPORT. My boney butt felt like it was sitting right ON the plywood base underneath the bottom cushion. SO .... WE REPLACED all the CUSHION COVERS and the foam cushion pad inserts. The new covers are MARINE GRADE VINYL. The bottom foam pad inserts are 4" thick and very dense and robust. THE DIFFERENCE is like NIGHT and DAY!! Now it FEELS LIKE sitting in a luxurous LAZY-BOY CHAIR!! SO COMFY!! The workmanship and quality were TOP NOTCH! Now, it was PRICEY. BUT WORTH IT! For the price we paid to replace 4 cushions, we could've bought an entire new living room sofa for our home!! Granted, we did go with a top-notch premium cushion-cover material (marine vinyl grade) and the new cushion covers were all custom made. BUT, for the CREATURE COMFORT provided when out RV'n, it is worth every DOLLAR we paid!! read more

I love this place and these people! They completely rebuilt, re-stuffed, and reupholstered my late Mother's antique chair. They were very accommodating and did a fabulous job. That was about four years ago. It still looks great. Recently my daughter's father gave her a beat up 2004 Volvo for her first car. We went to open the sunshade and the material fell off it and it was completely rusted. I remembered original look upholstery and thought we could take it over and see what they could do. They removed the rust, sealed it and reupholstered it for A great price! Their location is nothing fancy, but they are the nicest people and they do great work! read more

My special order couch, barely a year old started to tear at the seam. I was so upset that my warranty with Coleman Furniture that I paid hundreds for did not cover the damage because it was ripping at the seam. Coleman used cheap thin fabric underneath which had velcro attached to it, (which is why it was tearing) By luck I came across Original Look Upholstery and they not only fixed the problem they made it better than new in a short amount of time. I have a really nice backpack that I use for work travel several times a month. Unfortunately, I had to run for a plane and it was over-packed at the time. Gasp! The straps starting coming apart so I needed to get them repaired/reinforced so I would not lose the backpack altogether. Went to a local shoe repair and the gentleman recommended I go to an upholstery shop because the sewing machine they have is more industrious. I did a quick google search and found Original Look and gave them a call. The lady on the phone was nice and asked if I could bring in the backpack so they could take a look. Back in the beginning of April I had them reupholstered my four kitchen chair seats and bench, I am ashamed to say it has taken me two months to get around to writing this review. They did it all in one day and it looked great! They were great to work with and very personable! The only reason I am not giving them a full 5 stars is that the cushions were not as firm after they had been reupholstered and now it feels like I am sitting directly on the wood underneath. That being said, I would highly recommend them and the experience was a great one. read more

I just picked up my car from Original Look and had to come right in and write this review. I had the driver's seat restuffed as it had worn down with 11 years worth of driving.. It looks beautiful and feels great. They were even able to stretch the leather over the cushioning and cleaned it so that it looks like it did when it was brand new. Their price was very good and their estimate as to how long it would take was right on. This is a family business and they are all very warm and friendly. This shop is great, it is run by a husband and wife and they are as nice as can be. I run automotive business and I refer my clients to them and have taken several cars to them for work.
