Great upholstery job on our retro dining room chairs. Took 9 days from start to finish.

We purchased chairs we loved years ago but the material just did not hold up. Original Look Uphostry made the chairs not only look like new, but out of better material, and more comfortable than they were before. Would highly recommend and will be a repeat customer. read more

UPGRADED RV DINETTE SEAT CUSHIONS Vera and Jose, owners of this uphostery shop in Pflugerville, TX are top notch! We couldn't be happier! Perhaps you CAN'T TELL by looking at these pics. BUT, we REPLACED ALL of the original seat cushions for the dinette. The original seat covers were like economy grade. Worst were the foam padding inside the original cushions. Just NO SUPPORT. My boney butt felt like it was sitting right ON the plywood base underneath the bottom cushion. SO .... WE REPLACED all the CUSHION COVERS and the foam cushion pad inserts. The new covers are MARINE GRADE VINYL. The bottom foam pad inserts are 4" thick and very dense and robust. THE DIFFERENCE is like NIGHT and DAY!! Now it FEELS LIKE sitting in a luxurous LAZY-BOY CHAIR!! SO COMFY!! The workmanship and quality were TOP NOTCH! Now, it was PRICEY. BUT WORTH IT! For the price we paid to replace 4 cushions, we could've bought an entire new living room sofa for our home!! Granted, we did go with a top-notch premium cushion-cover material (marine vinyl grade) and the new cushion covers were all custom made. BUT, for the CREATURE COMFORT provided when out RV'n, it is worth every DOLLAR we paid!! read more

About 7 years ago, I bought my dream sofa. Comfortable, stylish and HUGE. For the last 2 years, I was unable to enjoy it due to the cushions being so soft that it provided no back support... That was till the day I contacted Original Look Upholstery. My sofa is a whole lot better than the day we purchased it. The cushions are so full and firm that I can now, enjoy it again. The work was done super quickly. In 2 days I had my sofa back. The look is far better than the day it arrived. The price was excellent. Vera and husband are absolutely great! They answered my so many questions and I will be referring them to all my friends and family. Do yourself a favor and call them for all your upholstery needs. If they fixed my monstrous sofa, they can help you with whatever upholstery needs you may have. read more

This was my first time needing upholstery work done and it was for a car seat. A friend recommended Original Look and raved about their work so I decided to give them a try. I spoke to Vera, she was very helpful, professional, and polite. Their price was totally fair and worth every penny when you see the result. My car seat was finished the next day and looks fantastic! I'm completely satisfied! I would absolutely use them again and recommend them to anyone. read more

I can't say enough about this business. They are the spirit of what embodies a warm and welcoming home. They turned my tired, worn out chairs into a show piece with denim fabric. On top of that, they restored life to my 25 year old sofa by giving it the needed support so I don't sink to my knees when I sit down. Don't look any further, this is place you want to do business with! They love your old, worn out furniture as much as you do. read more

I recently had Original Look Upholstery replace the foam in my sofa cushions, and I am so glad I did because I extremely pleased with how they turned out. The owners are honest, hardworking, kind, and well, overall just awesome people to work with. This is a family owned (husband and wife team) business that knows their stuff. I cannot say enough good things about these great people, and the work they do and stand behind. We are fortunate to have them here locally. I will for sure utilize them for all my future upholstery needs. read more

These amazingly talented people fixed the back of my couch cushions for a great price. They were so skilled in their work, got it done in a timely manner and were very well priced. Thank you so much for your help!!! read more

I love this place and these people! They completely rebuilt, re-stuffed, and reupholstered my late Mother's antique chair. They were very accommodating and did a fabulous job. That was about four years ago. It still looks great. Recently my daughter's father gave her a beat up 2004 Volvo for her first car. We went to open the sunshade and the material fell off it and it was completely rusted. I remembered original look upholstery and thought we could take it over and see what they could do. They removed the rust, sealed it and reupholstered it for A great price! Their location is nothing fancy, but they are the nicest people and they do great work! read more

My special order couch, barely a year old started to tear at the seam. I was so upset that my warranty with Coleman Furniture that I paid hundreds for did not cover the damage because it was ripping at the seam. Coleman used cheap thin fabric underneath which had velcro attached to it, (which is why it was tearing) By luck I came across Original Look Upholstery and they not only fixed the problem they made it better than new in a short amount of time. I am so pleased with their work. I want to go buy old furniture just so they can reupholster it for me. Thank you again! read more

I have a really nice backpack that I use for work travel several times a month. Unfortunately, I had to run for a plane and it was over-packed at the time. Gasp! The straps starting coming apart so I needed to get them repaired/reinforced so I would not lose the backpack altogether. Went to a local shoe repair and the gentleman recommended I go to an upholstery shop because the sewing machine they have is more industrious. I did a quick google search and found Original Look and gave them a call. The lady on the phone was nice and asked if I could bring in the backpack so they could take a look. I took it in and it was repaired on the spot! They were so very nice and did a great job! read more

Vera took pity on us after our Jack Russell chewed up an Italian leather couch cushion. She and her husband hunted high and low to find the right color and texture, then restuffed both cushions to match. I'm so thrilled with their work, and it's great to invest my money in a local small business! read more

Back in the beginning of April I had them reupholstered my four kitchen chair seats and bench, I am ashamed to say it has taken me two months to get around to writing this review. They did it all in one day and it looked great! They were great to work with and very personable! The only reason I am not giving them a full 5 stars is that the cushions were not as firm after they had been reupholstered and now it feels like I am sitting directly on the wood underneath. That being said, I would highly recommend them and the experience was a great one. read more

I just picked up my car from Original Look and had to come right in and write this review. I had the driver's seat restuffed as it had worn down with 11 years worth of driving.. It looks beautiful and feels great. They were even able to stretch the leather over the cushioning and cleaned it so that it looks like it did when it was brand new. Their price was very good and their estimate as to how long it would take was right on. This is a family business and they are all very warm and friendly. Special thanks to Railton who did the work--perfect. And on top of all that, when I got in my car I had a bottle of water and a mint. I would highly recommend this business. read more

Nicest people you will ever meet and did an excellent job on the driver's seat of my 4Runner.

I have got to write an outstanding review for Original Look Upholstery. From the minute I began dealing with them, they were welcoming, professional, and I felt comfortable trusting them. I needed to recover a living room chair. They had a large selection of fabric books, some of which they loaned to me.They showed me work on site that they had done and I was pleasantly surprised and impressed with the quality, especially the recovering of a large sectional. It was obvious they know their craft. Their price was reasonable and they went above what I expected in restoring my chair. I would use them again and recommend them with confidence. read more
