The café is positioned in an old historical building. It makes great use of the space. We like the seating arrangement and found a booth style seating we really enjoyed. The music isn't too loud but lends to the mood. There's a kind young man who's been there the last several times. He's so respectful and attentive to the customers. Their menu is newer looking than the last time we were in and it looks really good. I always enjoy their pad Thai or their drunken noodles. Wifey got a taro milk tea today and it was the best ever. I went to this restaurant for a work lunch while traveling as was happy with the choice. In the middle of the 4 block downtown Knoxville was a simple sign saying Hong Kong Chinese. Nothing fancy on the outside and the inside was the typical purple and green with paintings and a few gold statues. Good selection of choices at the buffet, but I went with my norm white rice and General Tso Chicken. The rice was extra sticky, just the way I like it, and the Generals was spicy. I also had some of the cream cheese wontons and they were perfect. I cant give this place a better ranking because I always compare Chinese places to one back in my college town and frankly none have come close from becoming the favorite. Overall good food and a good little find on a business trip.
