The front desk employee was rude. She immediately said, "really? how long have you been checked in for?" Unsure why that mattered we said, "a few hours" in confusion. She then, clearly annoyed, told us she was trying to finish her shift and get her end of shift stuff done...okay, but you're still working...so???? The whole interaction was strange and she was very unfriendly and rude.

First of all, I was charged for two extra sides of coleslaw and got home and only one. Lesson learned, always check the entire order before leaving. It's expensive enough as it is (Along with everything else, I get it.) But even more so to take care of the people who are spending the money at your restaurant. The chicken was mid. Sort of dry & looked like it had been sitting there for a while, I looked and actually hoped they didn't take from there but they did. My daughter thought the mashed potatoes tasted "off". I told her and she agreed definitely not enough gravy. Would've been nice to have that separate. Do better, plz. Money is tight for everyone, maybe try to go the extra mile for the ones who are willing to spend. Won't happen again here.

I went to this restaurant for a work lunch while traveling as was happy with the choice. In the middle of the 4 block downtown Knoxville was a simple sign saying Hong Kong Chinese. Nothing fancy on the outside and the inside was the typical purple and green with paintings and a few gold statues. Good selection of choices at the buffet, but I went with my norm white rice and General Tso Chicken. The rice was extra sticky, just the way I like it, and the Generals was spicy. I also had some of the cream cheese wontons and they were perfect. I cant give this place a better ranking because I always compare Chinese places to one back in my college town and frankly none have come close from becoming the favorite. Overall good food and a good little find on a business trip.

The entire staff just stood around staring and ignoring us.

Three restaurants share a lobby/hostess. I honestly wasn't sure I was walking into the right place, but it's a minor thing (if you know about it). Now for the bad: like I said the food is excellent, no complaints there. But I was more than a bit surprised to see on my bill that I was being charged for mixers!! A double Captain & Coke: $8 for the rum, $0.50 for the coke?!?! Really? The $8 for 2 oz of rum doesn't cover the couple of cents worth of soda? On the menu you can order a side salad as one of your sides, but if you want extra dressing? That's $0.75. This is too nice of a restaurant to be nickel and diming your customers.
