Been several years since I've posted regarding this Chinese takeout place. Everything we've eaten here has been solid over the many times we've visited. Their food is made promptly when picked up. It seems their reviews suffer more when it comes to ordering delivery. I've never tried this option, so the speed of standard service is all I can go on. While their food has remained delicious, their prices have been going up significantly in the last few years. Looking on other reviews, I haven't seen an up to date menu so I've attached one. I mean classic and cheap Chinese takeout. There's always a time a place for it This is a staple we military folk turn to when on base. They deliver to every building on post. It's convenient but sometimes he waits can get up to two hours! But usually they warn you before you place your order, though sometimes not until after. Not sure why the rating here is so low, but I have been eating here for almost 2 years when I come down to train at FT Stewart. Food is always hot and fresh and taste great. Friendly staff, and quick service. read more

Oh my stars. So awesome. They came out with twenty minutes left on the clock and gave me the hard to find sesame shrimp. Chinese kitchen hung up on me and were so rude. And my order is dELiCiOous!! read more

Ordered delivery from this place for the first time. It took about an hour and a half to arrive. The food was NOT worth the wait. We ordered steamed dumplings, rice, egg rolls and kung pao shrimp. I didn't eat the kung pao shrimp, my husband said the shrimp was okay but the rest of the dish he didn't like. (I wouldn't put too much on that opinion because he prefers Panda Express which is also imo gross, but I would eat there over orient express). The egg rolls were just way too oily! When I took a bite, there was legit oil just oozing out. The rice was bland and had slices of mushrooms in it, which isn't typical, and the dumplings didn't taste like anything. Maybe this place has better things to offer than what we ordered. I don't know, I'm not willing to try again to find out. I had a difficult time finding the menu online to order, ended up finding pictures of it on facebook posted by someone so I included them here for those of you who'd like to still try this place. Not sure why I've never seen this this place since I've lived here over 2 years but it kinda blends in with all the other little store around. This place has almost the exact same menu as Wok 'n' Roll. The General Tsao chicken is not spicy like they claim, it was almost sweet. This is your basic American Chinese food but it's not too bad either. read more

If your looking for classic quick Chinese food in all of its stereotypical glory this is it. I always judge a Chinese place by its general tso and it's crab Rangoon, the food hits the spot. It's a small traditional strip mall location but the food is probably my favorite in town. It does appear to be a little run down but let's be honest, we don't eat Chinese food for the atmosphere it's because it's delicious and orient express is no let down. read more

The food is ok, however when u order delivery it take one and half hour arrived, sometimes it never come. You have to call them to remind them. i don't recommend delivery for this store and there is much better Chinese food around here read more

The food isn't bad at orient, but definitely hit or miss most days. The wait time for delivery is always 1 hour to 1.5 hours but can be up to 2 hours depending on the day. Usually the drivers are nice, but they only work for tips so be sure to tip them well. read more

I am giving this 3-stars. I eaten from here before. I have had great chinese food and I have had horrible chinese food. The food here is good. Tonight we ordered food......big mistake. It is a Friday night and they told us it would take 1 and 1/2 hours before the delivery would happend. We waited....and waited....and waited. Even called a couple times to check.....no one ever apologies for the delay.....more than 3 and 1/2 hours later the knock finally came on the door with our food. Needless to say, I will not be ordering from them on a weekend again. Will even think twice about any other night. I hate leaving a one star review but my wife and I ordered and two hours later (after we called to check since it was taking so long) they said it was done and about to be on its way. Another hour and no delivery. At this point the store is closed and not answering the phone despite the fact we paid ahead of time. We have now been charged with no delivery. read more

I tried ordering delivery two times already and everytime they arrived at least 1hour to 90 minutes later than promised time. I am currently waiting on the order and I tried calling them to check the status of the order and they hung up to avoid talking to upset customers. It literally took me 10 attempts to finally talk to them only to find out their orders are going to be late by 60 minutes again. I will never order from them again. read more

Compared to the other Chinese restaurants in the area, Orient Express has tastier food. In particular, I like the hot and sour soup. The fried rice is made with yellow rice and is not greasy. read more
