Organized by design just completed a built in job for us and we were thoroughly impressed. They were communicative and efficient in responding to our needs. Not to mention they finished the entire job in a day! I was a tad apprehensive on how it would look and they definitely exceeded my expectations. Would 10/10 hire again, and plan to for any additional cabinetry work we will need done at our home. read more

Organized by Design, AZ - Custom bookshelves - General Contractors Near Me - Paradise Valley, Arizona

Beginning with the initial consultation with Chad, we had a very good feeling about Organized by Design, AZ. Chad took the time to meticulously measure out our closet and pantry and provided the CAD design diagrams for us to look over on the spot. He took the time to offer options to get the most out of our small but very important storage spaces. He also provided us time to look over the catalog of products and even prompted us to add some sorely needed garage storage to the project. The detailed proposal and very competitive quote came over that night and we were ready to sign. When we got the notice our products were ready for install, we were able to set up our appointment for the very next day. Marcus and Jamey were prompt, courteous, friendly and thorough. Our 2 day job was done mid-day 2 as scheduled and we are impressed with the results. I would not hesitate to recommend this team for your job. read more

this company did my garage installation . missed The first scheduled install date in November. Then rescheduled for 2 weeks later. Showed up and completed 3/4 of my garage saying I couldn't open any of the cabinets as they were waiting on parts to arrive before they could finish. Then parts finally arrived about 3 weeks later and called on the day of installation and asked if they could finish my garage with no lead time. Luckily I was able to accommodate. didnt Give me all my accessories for my garage wall storage system and work bench then told me i had to pay for any additional accessories i wanted. Went through process of agreeing to pay for some accessories as long as my few missing accessories were also included and just got run around from that point. wouldn't Recommend this business very unprofessional and un organized in my opinion. . Also cut corners " literally" as I look under my garage cabinets where the legs are and they pulled My baseboard off to accommodate for the garage cabinets which left a very unsightly un even gap underneath my entire new cabinet install. If the cabinets weren't propped up off the floor with legs this would be concealed , but that's the case and looks very shotty. Should have just Cut the baseboard where needed vs tear the entire 6" baseboard off. Also did a closet install for me and didn't use finished painted edges for the top shelf, just raw unpainted corner boards. read more

If I could give 6 stars, I would. Chad came out and measured and put together a CAD drawing for us and then tweaked anything that we wanted him to. Our job had some complicated elements to it and he measured each item that needed a place in the closet perfectly. The finished product is beautiful and exactly what we envisioned. His install team, Marcus and Jamie, were such hard workers. They bent over backwards to get our job done in the allotted time, and paid great attention to detail. They cleaned up after themselves and left everything cleaner than when they began. I could not be happier with this experience and would use Organized By Design again and again for future projects. read more

All I can is WOW!! From the day Chad walked in our home for just a pantry estimate, I have been very impressed with his company and crew. Chad provided a competitive quote and offered ideas on how to make my pantry more functional. I was so impressed I extended the project to our laundry room and a custom / built in tv stand. Marcus and Jamie were great installers and a pleasure to have in our home. They installed all the cabinets, shelving and made sure we were completely satisfied with the end result. They were clean, organized and communicative throughout. I highly recommend Organized By Design!! Thanks guys!! read more

We had a wonderful experience working with Chad from Organized by Design. I wanted to work with an experienced, professional and friendly team who could help us bring our small closet space to life with more functionality and customization to our specific storage needs. I loved being able to plan all of that out with their team, see a rendering before getting our project in the works, and although it was a long wait -- it was so worth it. I can easily say I am obsessed with my closet and feel so much more organized and aesthetically pleasing (even in our small space!) Pricing was very reasonable and installation was seamless and it was finished in one day! read more

We used Organized By Design for two projects recently: our Master Bedroom closet and our playroom closet. Chad worked on the design while he was at our house which saved so much time and eliminated all of the back-and-forth we experienced with other designers. He was wonderful to work with on the design, and the installation was fast and painless! We are very happy with our new closets and would highly recommend them to anyone needing custom closet organization done. read more

I cannot say enough great things about this company, Organized by Design. My husband set up an appointment with Chad Turnwald, who came out on time on the scheduled date. He is very professional, courteous, patient, and friendly. After getting the measurements of the closet and an idea of what I wanted, he put in all on his laptop computer. As we talked and looked at the design, I got some ideas & suggestions from him and within a few minutes, he made the desired changes on his computer! I really enjoyed working with him. We set a tentative date for install in January, and I thought of some other questions. So I called and we talked about a couple other changes. He then emailed me the new plan. Two days before installation day, Chad called to firm up the arrival time that was convenient for us. He also had Kathryn bring out two rolling wardrobe racks to use for unloading our clothes. This was extremely helpful and we got to keep it a few days after the installation. On the scheduled day, Chad came with Mike, his installer, to get started with the demolition of the closet. The majority of the closet was completed that day, and the remainder only took 2 hours the next morning. Mike did an excellent job on the install. Chad even put up my husband's homemade hat rack high up on the wall to help us out. The quality of the closet is fantastic and drawers are dove tail construction with full extension! Thank you Chad, Mike & Kathryn for all of your fantastic work on this project. WE LOVE IT! Connie read more

My husband and I downsized to a much smaller home after becoming empty nesters. Our new home came with a very small master closet and no storage area. To solve this problem, I wanted to expand our master closet by making a doorway from our closet leading into the adjoining bedroom. I spent months looking for a general contractor and closet company for this project. The job was too small for the contractors and no closet company could do the prep work required before building the closet. Then I found Organized by Design on Yelp. Chad and his wonder assistant, Marcus, were able to handle every aspect of the job - tear out of old closet and wall, drywall repair, moving electrical lines, installing new flooring - and then building a beautiful closet. From the design process with Jennifer, the demolition, rebuild of walls and flooring to the actual build of the new closet everything went so smoothly. Ten stars were earned by the entire crew. They were always punctual. They cleaned up after work everyday. They were so easy to work with. I felt like I had always known them. Chad and Marcus made sure to ask me about every detail before they proceeded to make sure it was what I wanted. They even measured our clothes to make sure the clothes rods were at the level I wanted. Chad's trim work around the curved baseboard was far superior to the work done in our previous custom home. Everything was built to exact detail. They also built beautiful cabinets in our garage. I highly, highly recommend Chad with Organized by Design. read more
