this company did my garage installation . missed The first scheduled install date in November. Then rescheduled for 2 weeks later. Showed up and completed 3/4 of my garage saying I couldn't open any of the cabinets as they were waiting on parts to arrive before they could finish. Then parts finally arrived about 3 weeks later and called on the day of installation and asked if they could finish my garage with no lead time. Luckily I was able to accommodate. didnt Give me all my accessories for my garage wall storage system and work bench then told me i had to pay for any additional accessories i wanted. Went through process of agreeing to pay for some accessories as long as my few missing accessories were also included and just got run around from that point. wouldn't Recommend this business very unprofessional and un organized in my opinion. . Also cut corners " literally" as I look under my garage cabinets where the legs are and they pulled My baseboard off to accommodate for the garage cabinets which left a very unsightly un even gap underneath my entire new cabinet install. If the cabinets weren't propped up off the floor with legs this would be concealed , but that's the case and looks very shotty. Should have just Cut the baseboard where needed vs tear the entire 6" baseboard off. Also did a closet install for me and didn't use finished painted edges for the top shelf, just raw unpainted corner boards. read more

Chad took the time to meticulously measure out our closet and pantry and provided the CAD design diagrams for us to look over on the spot. He took the time to offer options to get the most out of our small but very important storage spaces. He also provided us time to look over the catalog of products and even prompted us to add some sorely needed garage storage to the project. If I could give 6 stars, I would. Chad came out and measured and put together a CAD drawing for us and then tweaked anything that we wanted him to. Our job had some complicated elements to it and he measured each item that needed a place in the closet perfectly. The finished product is beautiful and exactly what we envisioned. His install team, Marcus and Jamie, were such hard workers. They bent over backwards to get our job done in the allotted time, and paid great attention to detail. They cleaned up after themselves and left everything cleaner than when they began. I have a lot of clothes.. . shoes, and more importantly beautiful purses collections.we have to show off........with that in mind .chad builted me and 2 French doors cabinets. with and ED lights that lite up when you open the doors.. and I was not going to used a ladder to climb to get the clothes down....so he went to work and build me electronic bars for my top cabinets with a push of a Botton.it comes down and back up Botton.middle of the room a cabinets with 2 draws for jewerly on the top part and the rest is just extra draws.top part of the cabinets is a glass top. of course there's more specials details to my closet. but trust me ..this is the design team you want!!!!! read more

I cannot say enough great things about this company, Organized by Design. My husband set up an appointment with Chad Turnwald, who came out on time on the scheduled date. He is very professional, courteous, patient, and friendly. After getting the measurements of the closet and an idea of what I wanted, he put in all on his laptop computer. As we talked and looked at the design, I got some ideas & suggestions from him and within a few minutes, he made the desired changes on his computer! I really enjoyed working with him. We set a tentative date for install in January, and I thought of some other questions. So I called and we talked about a couple other changes. He then emailed me the new plan. Two days before installation day, Chad called to firm up the arrival time that was convenient for us. He also had Kathryn bring out two rolling wardrobe racks to use for unloading our clothes. This was extremely helpful and we got to keep it a few days after the installation. On the scheduled day, Chad came with Mike, his installer, to get started with the demolition of the closet. The majority of the closet was completed that day, and the remainder only took 2 hours the next morning. Mike did an excellent job on the install. Chad even put up my husband's homemade hat rack high up on the wall to help us out. The quality of the closet is fantastic and drawers are dove tail construction with full extension! My husband and I downsized to a much smaller home after becoming empty nesters. Our new home came with a very small master closet and no storage area. To solve this problem, I wanted to expand our master closet by making a doorway from our closet leading into the adjoining bedroom. I spent months looking for a general contractor and closet company for this project. The job was too small for the contractors and no closet company could do the prep work required before building the closet. Then I found Organized by Design on Yelp. Chad and his wonder assistant, Marcus, were able to handle every aspect of the job - tear out of old closet and wall, drywall repair, moving electrical lines, installing new flooring - and then building a beautiful closet. From the design process with Jennifer, the demolition, rebuild of walls and flooring to the actual build of the new closet everything went so smoothly. Ten stars were earned by the entire crew. They were always punctual. They cleaned up after work everyday. They were so easy to work with. I felt like I had always known them. Chad and Marcus made sure to ask me about every detail before they proceeded to make sure it was what I wanted. They even measured our clothes to make sure the clothes rods were at the level I wanted. Chad's trim work around the curved baseboard was far superior to the work done in our previous custom home.
