I have since hired a 3rd party crew to reinstall the closet so there is not much that can be done from CbD but I truly appreciate a business that values their customers. If the problem could have been discussed and remedied before it had to reach the public to have an effect that would be ideal. I do think my water damage issue where the closet system needed to come off the wall is rare (although not rare in high rise condos) but I am glad it sounds like CbD in the future will do their best to address customer's requests. I think for their effort in trying to do right in this case it should get a better rating than 1.

I have a new project where I recommended that my client take my drawing and have them design something similar for the laundry room as his new house has no cabinets there. They do a fabulous job here and you won't be disappointed. I use a custom cabinet company for custom millwork in the main living areas, etc.. but for closets and laundry rooms and even home offices I think they can do a great job! They did my master bedroom and den closets for me. I went with the darker wood because that's what I had throughout, but I recommend using white in closets as it doesn't show the dust as much.

The painful process was somehow made doable by Kat and her team (shout out to Emmerie!), with their firm but gentle persistence to get it all done. They really kept me on task/gave direction when I needed to sift through things which was incredibly helpful. Otherwise when I had to work or was busy with my kids they never seem to waste a minute. Moving with two toddlers was completely overwhelming, but they unpacked and got us organized in the new house in just two days. I called them back to organize the garage I'd managed to stuff full with overflow and in just a day they had it all perfectly purged, sorted and stacked. They showed up on-time and worked without stopping aside from a short lunch break (which was always fun getting to chat with them) -which was quite impressive given the slog I put them through. They are delightful and super enjoyable and easy to work with, I cannot recommend this crew highly enough!!

He's just a guy with an affinity for organizing, and he also has carpentry skills for building wooden organizational shelves. (This was not necessary for us, as our garage already had wooden shelves built in.) Rich came in, looked at our garage, took photos, discussed what I wanted to accomplish and how to accomplish it, and then quoted a fair price which he stuck to. We agreed on a date, but be forewarned- Rich has other work commitments, and it took awhile for our schedules to match. Once we agreed, the date was solid and honored. Rich arrived late morning as planned, and he worked very hard single handedly all day. He removed wooden shelves that weren't being used in order to make room for larger containers, which to my delight he labeled with easy to remove tape. We loved that Rich labeled everything! He was industrious, polite and efficient, and he hauled off what we weren't keeping at no extra charge. When the work was complete, Rich gave us a tour of our newly organized garage. When we asked questions and made suggestions for minor things we felt would help us further, he quickly agreed and got to work without further charge. She also guided us on replacing furniture pieces that were out of scale for our rooms, which made a huge difference in how the space felt. One thing we really appreciated was how she worked with us: she sent Pinterest boards with curated suggestions for rugs, furniture, and accessories, which let us shop and pick out what we loved within her design direction. Whenever I found something on my own, I could send it to her and she'd let me know if it fit the style we were going for. That collaborative approach made the whole process feel personal rather than having someone just dictate a design to us. She was also hands-on when we needed it, helping with installs like placing a rug underneath the primary king sized bed. We couldn't figure out how to hang pictures in the foyer and she sent a drawing to help us with it. And through it all, she was incredibly responsive, always answering my questions quickly and thoroughly. Update for August 2022: Moxie just helped me with a whole house unpack/move in and wow! These women…read morecontinue to amaze me. I'm so grateful for their help and expertise. Moving is normally so stressful and overwhelming but having Moxie here was the magic cure for that! (The other major component was using Heavenly Moving to do a full service move that included packing- highly recommend!) The Moxie team had EVERYTHING out of boxes with the cardboard broken down and packing paper all bagged up when they were done. They left me with a beautifully organized home, including all the drawers, cabinets, closets, even the "junk" drawer (which is too nice to even be called a junk drawer now lol) and the peg board in the garage! If I had tried to do the unpacking myself it would have taken months, it wouldn't have been completed so nicely, and there are things that would have probably never gotten done at all. I'm so happy I asked for help because I had a functional home within the first week of moving - AMAZING! Love Moxie and would recommend them to anyone.
