Can I rate them -5 Stars? Wow. I have been calling them for 2 weeks and only hearing a voice mail message which makes them sound like they are open and operational. Their website is still up and running with no notice of personal issues or being overwhelmed by demand. If you are not ready for LivingSocial, don't commit to it. If you can't handle the customer demand, at least communicate the issue and give us a tentative date to look forward to using the services we ALREADY PURCHASED. Saw the deal through localtwist and called and spoke with the receptionist Lilly who told me I would need to get a 4 hour package with 2 people (8 hours of work) if I wanted to have my refrigerator and oven cleaned as well. I returned to find them leaving about 20 minutes early which I didn't mind. However, the refrigerator/oven was not cleaned and the counter tops were still dirty. Some of the items they wiped such as mirrors and tabletops looked even dirtier since there were smears. I called and spoke with Lilly again and sent pictures over to show them and they her response was "we dont clean refrigerator/ovens". I told her I spoke with her and she said they would and she said "oh yes they must have forgotten" They sent people out a second time saying that it would only take one hour to clean it. When I returned, the refrigerator was still just as dirty and had the same stain in the drawer as I had photographed before and the oven was still dirty. I called once again and Lilly said she would contact the cleaners. Lilly called back later and said that they couldn't clean it with their organic products. I told them there were even crumbs still on the bottom. I asked for the owner Olga to call me back as I had photos I could send again. Lilly called back and said there was nothing they could do anymore and Olga will not call me back. I have since filed a complaint to the BBB and they are pending Olga's response. read more

Like other reviewers, I also recieved the following email: "We regret to inform you that due to labor and other business difficulties we are unable to schedule a cleaning appointment for you at this time. We regret any inconvenience that this may cause you, and we hope to be able to accommodate your cleaning needs in the future." I received the email less than 24 hours before my scheduled service. Now when I call, it's just voicemail. I have zero confidence in this outfit and they have my money. Now I am left high and dry with no time to clean my house before I go out of town. I bought a coupon on livingsocial like many other yelpers, and have tried and tired to book an appt and have gotten vm every single time I call. I have also received autobot responses to my email inquiries: "We regret to inform you that due to labor and other business difficulties we are unable to schedule a cleaning appointment for you at this time. We regret any inconvenience that this may cause you, and we hope to be able to accommodate your cleaning needs in the future." They used my Christian name in the salutation, so I KNOW someone is reading their email.... I contacted livingsocial and they were a dream, they refunded my money no problem, there are "notes in their system as to the status of this company." As many other Yelpers mentioned, I also had a livingsocial coupon for 2 ladies for 1 hour. They did call me 45 minutes early and politely asked if it was ok to come, since I was busy I told them it had to be our scheduled time of 4:00 pm, and it was a non issue. Once they arrived, I gave specific instructions on what was to be cleaned. They did a wonderful job. Kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and living room were spic and span by the time I got back. The ladies were there for at least 1 hour and 15 minutes, so I definitely felt I got my moneys worth. I was moving out of my apartment and once Organic Clean was finished there was not much left for me to do, Hooray! Thanks Ladies! read more

I got a livingsocial deal for a 2 hr clean with two cleaners. My appointment was set for 12 noon, but they showed up at 11:30 and called me when I was running errands! Thankfully I was able to get home around 11:35. That was the only hiccup I had with them. They introduced themselves and asked for a tour of the rooms, and then they were off to cleaning. They were chatting it up a little loudly but I didn't mind because that was the only entertainment they had. My place was A MESS... so what they achieved in 2 hours was amazing! I've walked around today and I'm surprised that they got around to wiping down all the surfaces. They were very detail-oriented, and got the job done fast. This is my first Yelp review***and apparently the Yelp filter thinks I'm fake...I'm about as real as Hurricane Katrina-bad analagy, but I'm ticked-bc this business needs a spanking***-and as much as I hate doing so-it was through a horrible experience. If there was a chance of 0 stars I would. Essentially, Organic Clean is nothing more than a sham. And a word of advice for all those who've gotten stiffed by the LocalTwist/Buy With Me voucher-report this to the BBB, the Attorney Genral (there's an entire division for consumer rights), and of course, write to Buy With Me-though that will do little good-although they should also be accountable for vetting such a fraudulent business. And why do I say fraudulent? Hmmm....maybe it's because Orangic Clean has been promoting themselves with these half off voucher companies (before I forget...Groupon/and Living Social WILL reimburse you...just not Buy With Me), and they get their cut, but for the consumer-we get no service-literally. No ones returned over 5 phone calls. No ones returned emails. No one is coming to cleaning-so I'm out $55. Totally fraudulant! And for all those people who actually did get service, and did leave 3, 4 or 5 stars...go ahead try to get ahold of this business again. Incidentally-I did look up the business owners name, Olga Fridrihsberga; the Washington State Dept. of Licensing has her at "active", but the expiration for her LLC expired 8/31/11 This woman had no business being in business.Nice way to work the system, and shame on Buy With Me for vetting them-I'm out $$$. I received a certificate for their services for my birthday, and planned on using it for moving out of a place. I e-mailed to schedule two weeks in advance, and agreed to pay more for fridge and stove cleaning. A week before the appointment I e-mailed to make sure I was still scheduled, and I was. The day before they were to come out, late on a Sunday, I got an e-mail stating that they wouldn't be able to make the appointment. What a bunch of crap! I ended up cleaning my rental myself, and the next day e-mailed asking when I could redeem the certificate. The next day, I got a response stating: "We are unable to schedule a new date yet. We will let you know once we are able to open a new schedule". I would NEVER recommend them. read more

I see a lot of other yelpers have had issues with Organic Clean, and maybe they're just fussier folks. When we first got started - there were some issues around getting schedules straight -- but once those got resolved, and they did, with great customer service from Olga, it's been GREAT. Our family is MESSY, and our dog sheds EVERYWHERE, and sometimes we don't have time to tidy things before they come -- and they just deal with it. They're great, non-judgmental, and their rates are quite fair. I certainly can't speak to the experiences of other clients, but they're a-ok by me, they've worked for us for about a year and a half and we like them just fine. When I come home, after they've cleaned, I love being in my house. They do a great job, they work quickly, and they're willing to deal with my clutter. read more

I got a deal for an hour and two housekeepers. I was late for the appointment but they were nice about it. However, the cleaning is very basic, they don't dust, nor clean hard spots, to sum it up: they are not attentive to details. Overall they're OK for $27 an hour, but for real professional cleaning (instead of looking like I cleaned it myself), don't use them. read more

2 employees came and cleaned my home yesterday. In general they did just an OK job, but I do have a list of things they did not do. The service I bought was for 2 people for 4 hours. When they left at 3 hours they said they were done so I assumed they had completed cleaning. In the kitchen, there were missed spots on the counters. The back splash and cupboard fronts were not cleaned (or even spot cleaned). Throughout the house they missed cleaning baseboards, blinds, fingerprints on handrails and light switches, and dusting some frames. If they had been here a full 4 hours, I could understand, but they left an hour early and did not do the job in full. Also, they used up 2 rolls of my paper towels. This is not a big deal, but it means I am out of paper towels now and have to go to the store. It also is not great for the environment. Finally, I am disappointed in the lack of responsibility. We have 2 wooden nutcrackers by the entry stairs. They are old and have been damaged in the past. I have repaired them but they still come apart easily. I heard the girls knock one over and break a part. I was ready to tell them not to worry because that happens all the time, but rather than telling me they had broken it, they tried to hide the broken piece. This is not very honest. Based upon these events, I would not use their services in the future, nor would I recommend them to others. read more

I bought a 2 hour cleaning voucher on the local twist site. The cleaning crew showed up 15 minutes late, and left 30 minutes early. While what they cleaned was pretty well done, its frustrating to not get what you pay for. If you pay for cleaning by the hour, you should get that amount of service. If this is not their method, they should not advertise and charge as such. I will not be using them again. read more

Got a deal from Living Social for 2 people to work for 2 hours. I was moving out so there wasn't actually that much to clean. I had to leave for an event right when they arrived so I was really excited to go home to a clean place I wasn't going to have to worry about. When I got back it literally looked like nothing had been done. Maybe they wiped down the sink and cupboards. Plus there was a DISGUSTING rag thrown in my microwave (which had not been wiped down inside. At. All). So gross I almost threw out the microwave! I was mostly annoyed because I left them a big tip and I feel like they probably just left 15 minutes after I did. Side note. I cleaned the rest of my apartment in 3 hours and got my whole deposit back. Maybe people looking for a cleaner should hire ME instead! read more

I have purchased a voucher from Localtwist whom was bought out by (BuyWithMe) earlier this year. Organic clean with not respond or answer the phone. BuyWIthME says tough luck for they don't have any responsibility for the vender or the company they purchased. If I could give zero stars, I would. I initally used Organic Clean when I ordered a livingsocial deal. After two scheduled dates where the cleaning crew mysteriously "no-showed", I let loose on the scheduler - Olga, I think. I demanded that they clean my house that week come hell or high water. I had been severely inconvenienced twice, waiting around my house.... waiting and waiting and waiting. Finally after several calls to Olga, she told me once that the cleaning crew had been in an accident, and once that they had to cancel because of car trouble. Seriously? Does she think I'm stupid? She told me that they only had dates 2 months in advance. I INSISTED that she figure out a way to get a cleaning crew in that week based on the fact that they had no-showed on me twice. They cleaning crew came - nice enough women. The job was mediocre. Meanwhile, unbeknownst to me, my husband purchased 3 more certificates from localtwist (which has since become buywithme) as a treat for me. I attempted to schedule the three appointments with plenty of advance notice, and after over 6 attempts to reach the company, was told that they couldn't help me and that I should get my certificates refunded. What type of business owner continues to advertise on the deal sites like livingsocial and buywithme if they can't even keep up with their current demand?? Besides, in this type of industry, all you have to go on is your reputation, and clearly, Organic Clean's reputation is in the toilet. The one positive is that the deal sites are usually really good about refunding the purchases if a vendor isn't fulfilling their end of the bargain. Awful customer service. Mediocre cleaning. Not run well. Still require that you pay additional taxes in addition to the certificate you've already purchased. I would NEVER use them again, and I will tell all of my friends, family and acquantances to avoid them at all costs. read more

they did a decent job the price was right. BUT that being said only 1 of the 2 spoke broken English which made it VERY difficult to communicate. The gal that didn't speak English goes up my stairs with the vacumn hitting the stair case luckily I stopped her before damage was done since we just had it built the other gal used a wet rag on my furniture until I stopped her, also why is it everytime I have a cleaning person they think it is ok to slide knick knacks and things across furniture it scratches....HELLO thankfully I stopped her in time. I read all the negative reviews and was a bit nervous... but my cleaning was GREAT!!! did they miss a few things when i checked it out with a fine tooth comb, sure... but did they clean things i didn't even expect them to, YES! they even polished my teapot (which gets greasy from being on the stovetop all the time). I am the type of person who wouldn't regularly hire cleaners, but after their thorough job of my 3 story town home, I would absolutely look into this again. They accomplished what would have taken me all day to do for about $13/hr each (and this is before localtwist and the company take their percentage) Was it worth it? yes. I've never left a Yelp review but have read them many times. I feel compelled to write a review after all these horrible reviews. We've been using Organic Clean for about a year and have had nothing but a good, if not, great experience. It seems to me that perhaps they didn't have the manpower to deal with a Living Social or Groupon special. It seems like a very small business. I've dealt with Olga directly and she's been responsive and helpful. And our two regular cleaning ladies are wonderful. They do a great job and really use good products which is why I found them in the first place. I think it's pretty unfair that they have so many awful reviews here on Yelp. read more

While I'm sure they are busy, I have a hard time believing (particularly in this economy!) that there is *that much* of a demand.... In the future, I will simply pay full price for a legitimate housecleaner, and will be shredding my Living Social voucher for this company... I purchased a living social deal for 2 hours of cleaning. My house was on the cleaner side but I was having a party and didn't have time to focus on the things I generally avoid like baseboards, cob webs on my high lamps, etc. Generally I think the cleaners did an ok job. Some things were great: dusting, vacuuming. Others were not done or done poorly: microwave untouched, stove spoon rest left dirty, dining room table not cleaned, spots on floor for both kitchen and bath. When I checked their website they also listed other things that weren't done: emptying dishwasher, changing towels or linens. In the end I believe I got what I paid for at the discounted price but would not recommend this company to others for the full price. I've had my house professionally cleaned before and will be returning to my previous cleaners because they were fantastic. read more

I did the local twist deal 2 house cleaners for 1 hour. It took them an hour two clean one bathroom, vacuum the stairs, and clean the tile landing at the top and at the bottom of the stair case. I was expecting them to clean the rest of the house but they said they did their one hour of cleaning. They did do a good job but I could have cleaned my whole house in an hour. When I called the office to explain ...I really didn't feel like company cared about what I was trying to say. She offered to call the ladies and have them come back and clean the other bathroom but I thought that was an awful idea because they had already left. And the final icing on the cake...they did not use organic cleaning products...last time I checked Ajax was not "green". I would not recommend this service to anyone or use them again. read more

I would actaully like to give them 0 star if there is an option. I bought 3 vouchers from Local Twist recently. A week later I called to set up an appointment in the evening. After waiting for an hour no one shows up and no one calls to let me know why they are still not showing up. I called their office and of course no one picked up the phone just like they took 2 days to return my phone call when I called to try to schedule a cleaning. Long story short, NO CALL NO SHOW! I was really upset because that evening was the only time they have open but I was schedule to work so I had to find someone else to cover my shift which not being working on that shift would have cost me $200-$300. I left them a messge that day and they response my complaint with an email did not explain much why they didn't show. Well my time was wasted with this unreliable company. I returned all 3 vouchers and I would never use or recommended them to anybody. read more

Buyer Beware! Please be vigilant if you use this company! Make sure that you see proof of their being licensed and bonded and ask that your cleaners speak and understand English. Check their work. It is also difficult to talk to someone in the office if there is a problem that needs to be handled immediately. My maids, Eva and Norma claimed they didn't even KNOW the name of their boss OR the office number when they tried to leave after 3 1/2 hrs of a contracted 5 hr. job. There was no answer when I called the office. After they left I found out that they hadn't even touched my laundry room! They cleaned OK., well with some things and not so good with others. No dusting was done on top of pictures, door frames, etc which were beyond their reach. To their credit,they did remove the water stains on my stainless steel dishwasher which I had not been able to do and vacuumed my sofa. Another Living Social Deal. They arrived an hour late, left a half hour early (I paid for two hours). Didn't clean the corners of any floors, Didn't move the furniture - just vacuumed around it, Used a feather duster all over the walls and surfaces and just pushed the dust around. I had to reclean all the glass tables in the living room and the corners of the television. They missed cleaning the top of the refrigerator and the range hood. They also don't use "organic" supplies. They left a half-used bottle of 409 on my counter. I would like to get my money back, but I don't think that will probably ever happen. Sharyn S. read more

Avoid this company at all costs! I purchased a 4-hour cleaning on Living Social. The first time I called to schedule they could not schedule me for over a month. I thought, fine, they are probably really slammed due to the number of people that bought cleanings from the site. They are very hard to get in touch with. No one ever answers the phone. My cleaning was scheduled for 6/8 - the company emailed me 2 days before my cleaning saying this, "We regret to inform you that due to labor and other business difficulties we are unable to fulfill your upcoming cleaning appointment. We regret any inconvenience that this may cause you, and we hope to be able to accommodate your cleaning needs in the future." So I repeatedly tried to call them to get this rescheduled and still could reach no one. I responded to the email they sent and stated I wanted the soonest available appointment they had. They responded and said, "We are unable to schedule a new date yet. If you would like to get a refund, you have to contact the original vendor." So back to Living Social I go to get a refund for this. Living Social was great and has agreed to refund my money. What a scam Organic Clean is. read more
