Yolimar (the owner) came over to walk through the house with us, find out what is most important to us and sent a detailed quote with everything we talked about. The quote was fair and I knew exactly what I'd be getting. For the first few cleans, Yolimar checked in regularly to see if we had any requests or wanted anything done differently. There were a couple small things and they were handled immediately to match our preferences. I am so glad we found them and feel so relieved that I don't have to worry about rescheduling missed appointments, pre-cleaning, or finding items in random places. I will happily use thier service forever.

I want to like this company a 5 stars worth amount but I just can't…read more 5 stars would be because I love their values and ethics and it is a local woman-owned business that uses very environmentally friendly products. 5 stars because my house was clean for the most part and I liked the people doing the hard work.... they seemed reliable, trustworthy and seemed to like their job. I have never had my house cleaned before and I have no other experience to compare it to. Here's why I'm taking off 2 stars: ***Email and phone communication was a little bit difficult and confusing. ***On the day of the (very expensive ) deep cleaning, the 3 person crew was about 30 minutes late and I had to call to find out why and to make sure they were coming. And here are the BIG REASONS ------- I made some assumptions I shouldn't have.... The walk through didn't thoroughly explain to me exactly what was going to be done and what wasn't. I thought that the inside of my stove was going to be cleaned and I assumed wrong. I thought my trashes, compost and recycling would be emptied. I thought that behind my TV was going to be cleaned, and I assumed wrong. I thought that a corner of my kitchen where I keep my grocery bags would be mopped and it was 100% not cleaned. (Next time I'll know to hang them on a door handle to expose the floor where I need mopped - same thing with the kitchen floor mats.) Finally, my bathroom sink was completely clogged by debris after this company's visit and I called and received a call back advising me to use a chemical product or, if I really needed them to, they would come out and clear it out for me. The owner didn't really sound happy or thrilled with that idea and so I just spent another 120 bucks on having a plumber come out. I think that it is very stressful to run a business and that's why I'm not taking more stars off. I also have no other cleaning experiences to compare this to and think I may be the type of person that would never be happy having someone else clean my house because it wouldn't be thorough enough? The whole thing took about 3 hours. UPDATE: Owner contacted me and offered to pay for the plumber and was very professional about the situation. I didn't feel comfortable since her response was probably related to my YELP review.

My husband took our dog to the park for what we both thought would be 1 hour. The cottage is 650 sq ft, and the only carpet to be cleaned was 325 sq ft. plus one area rug. As one can imagine in this small space, most of the carpet is covered by a king size bed, plus regular furniture. I counted 7 phone calls to my husband to give him updates, and at 5:45 after 3 hours the carpets were finished. The actual cleaning time was 20 minutes. It was a shock to see stains return within a week so we called CFM Carpet and Upholstery Cleaners to redo the entire house after the miserable experience we had with Wipe Out. CFM did the same areas that Wipe Out did, plus 2 area rugs (6 X 8 and 2 X 12) and charged me $52 less that Wipe Out. No fuel charge. I reached out to the owner of Wipe Out and his response was to blame me for all that went wrong. My parents owned 2 businesses on Vashon and I know the difference between good and bad customer service. It is never the problem that is the problem. It is how you handle a problem that makes the difference.
