Found Vera through Yelp. I work about 60 hours a week and am putting myself through college, so keeping up on the house can be a pain. She showed up on time and made my kitchen and bathroom sparkle. Not a speck of dust left behind. Very friendly and personable as well. Had no problem trusting her as I went about my errands on my one day off. I ordered the 4 hour deep clean and had her focus on the two worst rooms of my home. She even vacuumed the living room when she didn't have to. Thank you so much! Will be calling on her again in the future! read more

I have no idea how this company has gotten so many raving reviews. We had someone come by to give us an estimate and all seemed good. She told us that they would send for our first cleaning 2 people who would work to do a 'deep cleaning'. They ended in sending ONE person and were charged the same as the quote. When one person came, I asked if she was the only person coming and she said yes. So I assumed that we would be charged less. So was shocked when she asked for the original quote amount. The house was not cleaned well. Dirt in the corners etc. Supposedly the baseboards were supposed to be cleaned, which they weren't. She didn't have cleaning products, I had to supply my own. She didn't even clean the front of our fridge! Yet, we were charged the amount that was to pay for 2 people. When I reached out to the owner, I never got a response, which pretty much says it all..... Really feel as though we were conned. Have had other services when living in Seattle that were all superior to this company. Their 'deep cleaning' thing is a total sham, and I am annoyed that I fell for it. I highly recommend going elsewhere for your cleanings. read more

Confirmed appointment. Wrote very nice E-mail. They never showed up at all. They did not telephone or text. This happened ****today*** and they wrote a letter of confirmation yesterday afternoon. I still have not heard from them! This is both surprising and disappointing . read more

I found Special Touch by just googling local house cleaners. We are preparing to put our house on the market and wanted a deep clean of the kitchen and bathrooms. Scheduling on line was a breeze but I did call to verify it hit their calendars (my own trust issues!). The only hitch is our house is very remote and they got lost. Vera was very apologetic and and accommodating. She came to our house herself the next day. She obviously cares a great deal about her people and her company. Now, the serious stuff .... when I got home, my jaw hit the ground! I could not believe the magic she performed on our kitchen and our bathroom! 10 years of living in a space creates a lot of build up. The bathroom shower had a lot of calcium build up on the faucet and shower hose ... they look nearly brand new! The stove had burnt on whatever around every burner that we could not remove ... but Vera did! The stove looks brand new! Grease splatter built up behind the stove is NO MORE! I cannot say enough about the service she provided! and it was hands down the best value ever! I will definitely be using her services again and I have been bragging about it for weeks! Thank you Vera! read more

Buyers were set to do the final walkthrough on our home on Friday. We had scheduled cleaning through another company a month prior for that Thursday. The other company cancelled, via text message, at 7pm Wednesday night. We needed to find someone to do the final, deep cleaning on our home last minute. I contacted Special Touch Wednesday night and they were able to, at the last minute, send two people out to clean for us Thursday afternoon. We greatly appreciate their help! They were a complete life saver. They didn't clean out the oven and didn't clean the walls like the original company was going to do, but we were very happy with the work that they did do, especially for fitting us into their schedule! read more

I have been using Special Touch for about a month now. I have Anastasia come and work her magic in my home! She is so great and she does an amazing job. She really listens and works very hard to make sure we come home to a sparkling clean home. I'm starting with bi-weekly cleaning so I can get all the detailed areas like baseboards and blinds (my least favorite places to clean). They do such a fantastic job I may even be able to do just once a month... read more

I just want to thank Special Touch Housekeeping for their incredible service and punctuality. I called in for service the day before and they were extremely accommodating giving me a time from between 8am-10am the following day as I requested prompt service. The cleaners showed up on time (around 8:15am...well within the designated hour window) with their own cleaning products and tools. I did a quick walk through with them and highlighted three areas of focus: Kitchen, Bathrooms and floors all over the house. They ended up cleaning the entire house within the 4 hours that i paid for, while paying special attention to the key areas that we discussed. Not only did they vacuum, but they steam mopped the wood floors with wood polish throughout the house. I couldn't be happier with their friendliness, willingness to help and overall excellent service. read more

I found Special Touch Housekeeping on the internet. I sent in a request to get a quote and got a response back within an hour and then within 30 minutes later Vera was at our door. She was super friendly and very thorough. We have been with Special Touch Housecleaning for just about 6 weeks and our experience has been nothing but spectacular. The first visit they came in and did a deep cleaning, it was excellent and well worth the hourly charge. Then each week since they have come at their scheduled time and do a fantastic job. My 82 year old dad lives with us and they have been very accommodating, patient and wonderful with him. Vera took the time to talk to me about the products I like to use and gave suggestions on how they could improve on that. We have a 3800sq foot rambler, 2 large dogs and 3 adults in our home, so it's no easy task. I absolutely love coming home to my house being sparkling clean & fresh smelling. I highly recommend Special Touch Housekeeping. read more

My friends and I wanted to get some housekeeping help for one of our dear friends whose husband was in a tragic motorcycle accident and is now quadriplegic. I set up the service as a gift to our friend as she was overwhelmed with taking care of her husband, working full time and trying to keep up with the house. Initially, my friend was over the moon with the help but within a few weeks the quality of the service significantly declined with the final service of the cleaner showing up for just 20 mins, wiping down a few things and then leaving. After complaining, the owner wanted to make it right and asked for a 2nd chance and would send, in her words "a great couple who working hard and providing excellent service to all of my customers. ". They showed up 1 1/2 hrs late as my friend was heading out the door to take her husband to physical therapy. This service was not set up to cause more challenges for my already stressed out friend. And to make things worse, when I was not willing to pay the final bill as the owner wanted to charge me a full hour for the sloppy 20 mins, she contacted my friend who received the cleaning service as a gift and requested for her to pay the bill. So very disappointing!! read more
