We really tried to give this cleaning service a fair chance, but the quality was never there. Our home is only about 700 to 800 square feet, and even after increasing the cleaning time from 2 hours to 3 hours, the house still wasn't clean. There were always cobwebs and dust left around the house, the kitchen rug was never vacuumed even though we asked every time, and simple notes were misunderstood. We asked for the stove to be cleaned and she cleaned the oven instead, which felt like wasted time. This was with biweekly cleanings, so it wasn't like she was walking into a home that had been neglected. At the very first cleaning, we pointed out that there was spaghetti sauce on the wall in the bathroom and expected it to be cleaned. When it was missed and we asked about it, she said she thought we were joking. There was no reason for us to joke about that, and it showed us that instructions were not being taken seriously from the start. We were told when we signed up that if we ever needed a quick, last-minute cleaning, all we had to do was ask. When we actually requested a same-day 2 hour cleaning, we were made to feel like 2 hours wasn't worth their time or travel, which went against what we were originally told. The house also didn't smell clean after cleanings because the cleaner herself had a strong body odor that lingered in the house. Our last appointment was a no call, no show, and later we were told they were out of town at a dog show. That was the final straw. We can clean our home ourselves in about an hour and do a much better job. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend this service. Edit: you did offer a free cleaning. But why would I expect you to do a better job cleaning for free vs when I was paying for it? Your time to shine and retain me as a customer was when I was paying for your services, not after I fired you. You've already shown me the quality of service that you have to offer. There's no reason to waste anyone's time with a "free cleaning". I've been getting the "free cleaning" quality the entire time. And not once were we ever given a reminder text about our appointment. I had to reach out every time to confirm our appointment. While communicating with Betty it was always very short answers. Sometimes just no response at all. Confirmed cleaning do a move out at my house, and after my role attempt to get in contact with Betty, we received no email or call back. My initial encounter with Betty was great - she gave a decent price ($ 325) and was available in a timely period. We discussed on a date for a move out clean and confirmed. I talked to her on 8/30 and set up a clean for Monday, Sept. 6 at 0900. However, on the day of, my fiancé showed up to the house at 845 am and waited half an hour for someone to show up. In the meantime I called Betty multiple times, left a couple voicemails, and an email...... yet no response whatsoever. We waited patiently but came to terms that no one was going to show up. I gave her the benefit of the doubt and thought that she accidentally booked a clean on Labor Day Holiday and that I would hear back from her first thing Tuesday. However.. still nothing. I called and left a voicemail again. Also, no email reply either. At this point I am just flabbergasted. I'm a very understanding person but if you have a business, you should also be able to communicate with your clients. This review is overdo. These fabulous ladies showed up on time the day after I bought a house. 3k+ square feet with stairs and three bathrooms. They did a deep clean to remove years of dust and spider webs that had built up. They bleached my bathrooms and scrubbed my kitchen. I will be calling them again. read more

I needed a move-in deep cleaning done and only had 24hrs notice and a 48 hr time frame to get it done in, so I was very impressed when I was told they had an availble slot at 10:00 the next day. On the day and time of appointment it was a no-show and calls were to no avail. I had to call around and get another service because of the time frame, which was very stressful since most services weere closed. I was finally called 1hr 15min after the scheduled time, and was told they had accidently slept in, having dealt with a family emergency the night prior. I feel sympathy for anyone in that situation, but professionally thye should have canceled the night before and given themselves some grace. This was a time for them to focus on family and getting rest, and that would have allowed me some time to make other arrangements without complications. (The alternative service had to come a great distance and so they were not able to start unitl 1pm (not 10:00) and as a result we had to cancel plans for later that day. I want to give them a good review. I had a deep clean appointment starting at 11 and lasting 4 to 5 hours. Our cleaner arrived after 11:30 and had to leave after 3 hours. She said she was not told that it was supposed to be 4 to 5 hours. That, however, isn't what made me write this review. She did not seem to want to be here. It felt like it was an inconvenience to be cleaning our house. She also commented on the amount of dog hair and said, "I am not saying your house is messy.." worst of all though, she answered her phone and was telling her friend on the other line how she was sweaty and cleaning a house with so much dog fur everywhere! I was in the next room and found this to be very unprofessional. The weather is warming up and my dog is shedding. I appreciate that she helped us clean (that is what we hired her for after all). I did not appreciate that I felt like I was being judged. I got a cleaner to do a deep clean because my house was a little messy and I don't have a lot of time outside of work and a young kid to manage it all. I will not be asking them back. read more

Not very good service. Hired for a surfaces job, floors, dusting, bathrooms in a house that was pretty clean to start, just needed it to shine. Person came out and spent three hours, most of it on the phone. When she asked if she could leave just 2+ hours into the job, three rooms had not really been touched. Brought no supplies, used our cleaning items, including our vacuum, which she plugged up and didn't empty. Plus side, it the parts she did were pretty good, except the kitchen granite, which was streaky. read more

I hired Betty for a move-out cleaning of a small furnished 2-bedroom apartment - just the bathroom, living room, and kitchen. $100 for a ~2 hour job. She cleaned the glass surfaces in the bathroom and kitchen cabinet exteriors well, but everything else was cleaned superficial. Most surfaces were left dusty or streaky and my girlfriend and I had to spend another 3-4 hours after she left cleaning the rest. My bathroom and kitchen are tiled and she did not mop them, so if you're expecting a mopping (which I consider standard when hiring any cleaner) then be aware. read more

I hired them to clean after dirty tenants didn't clean and moved out. CleanTech cleaners "forgot" to even clean the oven... CleanTech came back to finish .... forgot to clean grime, food, and grease from backsplash and counters, cobwebs on ceiling, bi-fold doors in kitchen.... CleanTech cleaner smiled at the new tenant, who hadn't moved in yet, and asked him to clean the former tenants' cobwebs for her that I was paying her to do. CleanTech came back a third time to finish. I showed Betty how dirty the bi-fold doors still were by rubbing a paper towel across the bi-fold doors which turned black with grime: CleanTech's Betty said that's clean enough. She didn't clean them, but expected me to pay her for not doing it; I had to clean the doors. The new tenants and I had to clean what I paid CleanTech to do. I used Clean Tech Sept 2020 - Aug 2021 every 2 weeks. Over those 10 months, I had at least 7 different cleaners, maximum was 3 times for any one person. There is high employee turnover, so if there was someone good, they would be gone soon. Some were good, most were not. I was always at home to oversee the cleaning, so I probably got better than average, and I was living with the so-so service, but then the late arrivals, rescheduling and no-shows started. I as the first clean of the day, if my cleaner arrived late, my time was cut short so they could get to the next job ontime (wtf???). I also understand that things happen and rescheduling needs to happen (I had to reschedule a handful of times) and I am willing to put up with that and with late arrivals, but no-shows and no phone calls to let me know was too much and there was always some excuse: family emergency, my computer crashed so I lost my schedule, etc. Betty was always pleasant to speak with, but overall her proactive communication is nonexistent. One other thing is that several of the cleaners were covered in cigarette smoke smell and left that smell in my house after they left. read more

I hired CleanTech to clean my father's large house in April of 2018. My mother recently died after a long illness, and the house had not been thoroughly cleaned in quite some time. I was specific in my request for an estimate that the job needed to be thorough and I did not want any corners cut. I received several estimates from area housekeepers, and theirs was the lowest. I paid them for ten hours worth of work, at a rate of $27.50 per hour. Well the job was NOT thorough and there were not just corners, but ENTIRE ROOMS that we're not cleaned. For example, the TV room was untouched - everything was extremely dusty. In general, nothing has been dusted, and they didn't touch light fixtures, light switches, etc. The kitchen floor wasn't mopped either. I contacted the owner, Betty, and she came the next day and fixed the problems, and the house looked pretty nice afterwards.
