Unfortunately, while cleaning my apartment, an envelope containing all of my tips from work went missing ($750 in cash). I used to work as a director of housekeeping, and I am not the type of person to point fingers. But whether she took it or not, her negligence in handling my belongings resulted in it going missing. All of the other envelopes that were stacked with it were relocated to another location in my apartment, so she definitely had handled it. Again, not saying she took it, but it is gone, I have had several family members come and look. Additionally, my AirPods were moved, and one was missing. I was able to find it under my credenza in the living room using find my iPhone, but it's clear they do not take care with your stuff. I've filed a police report as well and will be following up with their bond company. The management has decided not to offer any refunds, including for the optional tip I provided for the service. Overall, this apartment cleaning cost me almost $1,000. I usually read reviews like this with a grain of salt, given any Karen can accuse someone of stealing. However having lost a lot of money I've worked hard for, I would recommend hiring another company and not taking a chance if your valuables being mishandled. They may respond to this with something along the lines of "we've investigated this and have found no reason to believe...." And so on - it is up to you if you want to take a chance when there are many other cleaning companies without reviews like this one.

Second, after I let her know I had already received a quote from another cleaner--but would keep her in mind if that didn't work out--she responded in a completely unprofessional manner. She told me that "they're all the same" and that she only works with clients who choose her first. Her tone was dismissive and borderline hostile, making it clear she had no interest in being considered unless she was the first and only option. I'm honestly relieved I saw this side of her before allowing someone like that into my home. Her behavior was rude, defensive, and completely lacking in basic customer service. Seeing a loved one through an act ended illness is difficult enough, but having to take care of…read morefinal arrangements and also pack up and move and clean up our rental to the landlord's stringent almost-to-the-point-of-ridiculous (color of the foil disposable covers on the gas stovetop must be black, not silver; here's the brand and part number and nearby stores that carry them on lengthy move-out checksheet) It was actually one of the hospice aides who recommended Kitsap, as they had helped a couple of other families. I'm not a slob by any means, but I wouldn't spend my few hours away from my loved one doing housework, I'd eat, sleep, shower and go back to the hospice, so while there wasn't a mess of any kind, things like vacuuming, sweeping in corners and things like that had gone a very long time. After the inspection, the landlord looked like he wanted to cry. I suspect he makes good money from docking folks who don't meet the difficult standards of his long list. I got my entire deposit back, so was able to get myself and my things back home, no problem. The cost was more than reasonable for the excellent results. The workers, I don't know if they knew about my recent loss, but they were polite and nice without being all fake cheerful, and I truly, truly appreciated that. I would recommend them again and I wish they would move down here.
