I kept having one bad luck situation after another while car shopping the last few weeks. I came here excited to buy a 2015 Honda Accord sport, but as I walked in and saw the car on the lot, Stephanie the sales lady here let me know that the people at the table next to ours were buying the car. She had me test another 15 Accord, but this one was the a different model with some upgrades and higher miles but same price. I loved driving it, but after signing the contract, some issues on my end made me need to look for something different. Stephanie stayed way later than planned, missed a family event, just to have me walk away empty-handed. I drove a few cars, and loved. 2015 Camry that was certified, but out of range for me. Stephanie worked her magic and called me the next morning and said she was able to get the Camry down to my comfortable point out the door, and also gave me a year of free oil changes, tire rotations and a few other services with the purchase. Stephanie made a frustrating process so pleasant, and she was great to work with. read more

if i could i would give it 0 stars so my roommate and i recently financed a Jeep through them and when i looked at the receipt (since i was going to put them on the title)it showed that they charged us more for the car than what we were told by around $4000 - $6000. we also put $6500 down it said we only paid $6000. we also were told we would get $9500 trade in for our car which we bought through them as well(that vehicle broke in 2 days.). and we only got $8500 for our trade in. also we said we wanted to finance for 72 months and they have us for 36- 48 months. so nothing we were told was honored. they are nothing but liars and thieves and i will never ever get a car through them after this even if they were the last dealership on the planet. we are extremely pissed off and after we finish with this vehicle we are going to go through someone else for our automotive needs. i will also be telling anyone and everyone is know to stay clear from this dealership. and the company. i also wish i checked Yelp before i went through them would have saved me a lot of headaches. worst car buying experience i have ever had. read more

Very upset about my experience with the service department today. I had an appointment scheduled for 7:50am with Kyle Belk and he was informative when I arrived and told me it would probably be an hour to an hour and 15 minutes. I waited on the couches for an hour and then moved to a chair near the entrance so he could see me when he walked in. I waited until 10:30am (which is 2 1/2 hours of waiting!) and then walked out and saw him standing at his desk. I asked him when my truck was going to be done because I needed to go to work. He said that he called me and came inside to get me and couldn't find me anywhere. I told him I was sitting right there in the front and I never got a call. I signed and then left. TERRIBLE SERVICE and no accountability! If possible, I'm going to try to get my service done somewhere else next time. read more

I went back the next day to cancel the warranty and they told me it was a great deal because if you don't use it you get refunded the warranty. I was excited to get my money 5 years later but the warranty company was out of business. I should have known it was too good to be true. What a scam. read more

Do not go to Brent Brown. On three separate occasions, I have had the service center at Brent Brown drop the ball. If the way I have been treated and the general lack of focus from the employees regarding my recall is how they do business, count me out. Their service center scattered and disoriented. We went to Brent brown to look at a new vehicle. We gave them our terms and they kept us all there all day. They rushed us through the paperwork because we wanted to take it to our local credit union. The payment ended up being way to high for us to afford. $200 more than we told them we could afford. So we didn't get approved for the loan. They then starting telling us we signed a contract and we had no choice other than to buy a vehicle from them even though we had no loan to pay for it. They made us believe they were taking us to court if we didnt. They even yelled at our loan officer at our bank and she had to hang up on them. After calling an attorney and filing a complaint with the better business bureau they finally told us they will let us out of the deal. Our attorney said we were not under contract and they were trying to scare us into buying the vehicle. I will never go there again! We ended up going and buying a car elsewhere. Please don't get sucked in to their scare tactics. I hope nobody has to go through what we did! read more

When a manager sits and tells you that what you are saying is incorrect you know there is something wrong. After dropping my car off, I called multiple times to talk to someone about the progress of my car and finally after 2 days was able to talk to a manger. I was quoted originally an already high price to replace both my front headlights, but the information was not "recorded" in his notes, so I was wrong according to the manager to say that that was the price he quoted. So now I have to pay almost double the amount. I mean who tells their costumers they are wrong and that I must have been hearing things?! Don't they want people to come back? Where is the decent costumer service? I am not trying to change the amount I have to pay because mistakes are made and I get that. But don't blame me for your quoting mistake. Say your sorry that happened and then move on. Would have been happy to work with them again if they would have treated me with more respect, but I don't plan to ever go back. read more

Set up an appointment on line selecting I would wait for the routine oil change and maintenance. Arrived on time. Got a quick text as I sat in waiting room that the person would be watching out for me and to text back if I needed anything. An hour and forty five minutes later I texted him to see why it was taking so long (usually in and out in an hour). After 15 more minutes I went out to the desk to ask directly about the estimated time before the job was done. The waiting room was basically empty. Not a lot going on. He told me they hadn't started but they would be doing it shortly. I had an appointment I had to go to so they gave me back my keys and apologized for the 2+ hour delay and still no service done, with no explanation. Brent Brown has a great reputation. But, the last 3 times I have gone there it has gotten worse each time. One employee told me since the dealership changed hands the strong client culture has disintegrated. Too bad. Don't trust 5 star reviews, I was offered money from my salesman for a 5 star review. I knew what car I wanted, and this dealership was the only one that had the color and model I wanted. It wasn't a terrible experience, but not a great one either. We had some miscommunications which made buying the car less pleasant, but it wasn't anything I would have written a bad review about. When I picked up the car my salesman asked me how much it would cost for a good review. Says a lot about the person and the company. I was going to walk away with no review until they lost my license plate. My paper tags expired last week, and they shipped the permanent plates to a very old address that I corrected while buying. The lady helping with the plates is very nicely trying to fix the problem, hopefully before I get pulled over. read more

one of the worst dealership I have ever been to, finance people ran my credit with 13 different creditors without even letting me know. I found out about 8 months later and when I tried to dispute it they said I have signed a paper where I allowed them to run my credit as much as they want. because of this i hate my life, i was never told this is what they're doing i thought it was only Toyota financing. it will stay on my credit for 2 years and my credit score dropped 73 points, don't ever go there and sign anything. read more

I am not impressed with Brent Brown, while we got a "good deal" for our new SUV, we got completely screwed on our trade in. The salesman helping us got our payments down to what we needed for a new car, but when we went to sign the papers, we saw that they only gave us $14k for our Lexus, that is $3k below KBB and now they are selling it for $23k. We also still have to pay $6k on the Lexus that is in our new car loan. I have never been screwed over so hard by a dealership before, I can guarantee that we will not be back to this dealership and will advise everyone we know not to give them their business. read more

I waited over an hour for the shuttle to pick me up and take me back to the dealership. After calling the driver and the dealership and getting no answer and no help, I had to get a ride from someone from the place I was at instead. No one at the dealership was able to give me any answers when I got there and no one seemed to care that I had to get back to work. Horrible customer service. read more

So I have mixed feelings on my purchase with them. So i started searching for a new Toyota Tacoma. I went in on March 30th to look. I found one that I really liked, but the amount they were going to give me for my trade in was a little low, I had my car up on KSL and already had a couple offers. So I told them I would wait and see if I could sell it on my own for a little more. The next day on the 31st they called me to ask how it was going. They were willing to go up on the trade in to the point it was worth doing the trade in versus trying to sell it on my own. So I told them I would be in at lunch and we could take care of it. I show up at lunch. They show me the truck again. They have me go inside and start the paper work. They start making copies of my insurance and have me sign the Title. They have me start to fill out the credit application. As I've almost completed the credit application, they come and tell me that the Tacoma I have been looking at was a dealer trade or something and that I couldn't have it. They tell me that they will have a truck exactly like the one that I wanted in on April 2nd (Saturday) or April 4th (Monday) at the latest. So I agree to go through with it. They have me go through all the financing and everything on the 31st. My guess is because it's months end and wanted the sale to count for the end of the month and end of the first quarter. So Saturday comes around I reach out to the sales guy and he says that it hasn't gotten there yet. Monday comes around I reach out to the sales guy again and the Truck is still not there. Tuesday comes around I reach out to the sales guy and he tells me it should be there that day. I follow up a couple hours later and he tells me it is just getting of the truck. It would be a few hours to go through there inspection and detailing but it should be ready. I told him that I get off work at 4:00 and asked if it would be ready by then. He told me yes. He also informed me that he was not in but he gave me the name of another sales guy that would know what is going on and to ask for him. So after work I go to pick up the truck. I ask for that sales guy. They page him while I sit there for 10 minutes, he never comes. After a few more minutes a different guy comes and tells me he will look into it and see what is going on. He comes back after a while and lets me know that they haven't even taken the truck back to start the process and that it will take a couple of hours. He apologizes and offers to get me a $75 gift card to Magelbys or a gas card for the inconvenience. (because I don't live that close to the dealer). I leave for a couple of hours and come back when it should be done.This is around 6:30. The salesman I was supposed to ask for before had left for the day. The guy who had originally tracked it down and told me that they hadn't even started the process and who had offered the gift card was no where to be found either. Another sales guy tried his best to help me out, but it still took a while for him to figure out where the truck was and what was going on for sure. I was finally able to leave with my new truck around 7:30. As I mentioned before I have mixed feelings. I really like the Truck and I'm enjoying it. For the most part the people were friendly, but the entire process was so jumbled and time consuming. The whole having me go in when the truck that I wanted was already being sent to another dealer was a little off putting as well. I wish I would have been told upfront that the truck I liked and wanted was already traded to another dealer before all the paperwork had been started. I wish the truck would have been delivered on the Saturday or Monday like I was told initially. I wish the truck would have been ready when I went there to pick it up at 4:00 like I was told it would be and that I didn't have to waste the entire night waiting for it. read more

*HIGHLY RECOMMEND NOT DOING BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY.* I traded in my 2004 Subaru Outback on 9/3/2016, Chris Cervantes was my salesman, and he helped me lease a 2016 Rav4. Nate Casper handled the paperwork, and during the signing and explanation of the terms and conditions I told Nate that my current auto loan for the Subaru was due 9/5/2016. Nate reassured me many times during our conversation that I would have nothing to worry about, and that Brent Brown would have my auto loan paid off before the 10-day leniency period. After about a week and a half, I noticed the loan was still not paid, so I tried to call Brent Brown's finance department with no answer, and no call back to my voicemail. On 9/16/2016 Chris Cervantes reached out to request that I fill out paperwork for the lien holder of my Subaru (America First Credit Union) because the finance department dropped the ball and never had me fill that paperwork out. The auto loan still showed a balance, I called America First and was told that the check was sent, but it was short. America First Credit Union also attempted many phone calls to Brent Brown finance with no call backs. On 9/27/2016 I reached out to Chris considering he was my only contact; or at least the only contact willing to work with me, and he said he would get the check mailed out asap. (On Wednesday 9/28/2016 I was told the check was overnighted) Fast forward to 10/3/2016 where I had to yet again make multiple phone calls to Brent Brown and America First to make sure this was resolved, because if the Auto Loan wasn't paid by 10/5/2016 it would be reported on my credit. I was given the Customer Relations Manger's, Karyn Clement's information, and contacted her about my complaint. She assured me it would be taken care of and that she would have a meeting with the General Manager, Finance Manager, my salesman (Chris), and herself to see what resolution they could come to in order to make this right. I never received a call back. Yet again I had to reach out to Chris to follow-up on information. Needless to say, I am NEVER referring a single person to Brent Brown Toyota. I regret ever going there to begin with. The only good of this entire horrible experience, is Chris did his job, and did it well. He even went above and beyond the typical Salesman job duties. Neither of us should have had to follow-up with finance, I never should have had to call multiple times in 30 days to make sure Brent Brown handled their end of the deal. I am incredibly irate. The final resolution was to mail me a gift certificate. This is the final slap in the face. I am done with this business and their sorry excuse for customer service and satisfaction. I don't care that I will receive free service for my Rav4 as part of my lease deal. I am servicing my car elsewhere and never giving my business to Brent Brown again. I will also make sure everyone knows not to take their business there too. The management staff needs to be reviewed. I am certain I am not the only unsatisfied customer dealing with poor time management, lack of customer service, and overall unprofessional nature of this company. read more

This is probably by far the worst dealership I have ever bought a car from. I would rather go to California and buy a car then ever buy from here again! Every person I've talked to has given me some sort of excuse on the issues I've had. Bought a used Sequoia for almost the price of a new one. Only a a handful of years old and I had another dealership tell me I need to replace all major fluids because they are super dirty. Brent Brown told me that they had checked all those fluids before I left with the suv and they were like new. Almost a thousand dollars in service fees. I have reached out at least two dozen times with no response. Second I had to pay for a front end alignment 3 weeks after taking the car home and may end up having to replace all the parts. Bought this car because we just had a baby and needed something big and safe but it's just been one issue after another. The dealership won't even acknowledge the issues even with another dealership calling them out on it. If you want my advice drive far to get the car you want if another local dealer doesn't have it and do not go here. read more

I will never take my vehicle back to Brent Brown Toyota. I took my 4Runner in for an oil change and at the same time they "fixed" a computer recall which basically messed up my whole system and caused a bunch of dash lights to come on. They tried to put the blame on me like it was my fault. They lied to me and tried to say it was a coincidence that the dash lights (including check engine light) came on after the oil change. A technician ended up telling me that it was totally the computer recall that was causing the problems and that they have seen this happen before. I spent 3 full days over the next week trying to get the problem solved with no success. Never once during my interactions with their service staff did anyone apologize for the inconvenience they had caused me or show me any courtesy or respect for my time. I was shuffled back and forth between people and seen as nothing more than a burden. I don't expect special treatment but as a customer I do expect honesty from staff and quality work from services, neither of which I experienced. Just a warning to anyone young and/or uniformed, these people will try to take advantage of you and use fear tactics to manipulate you into paying for services you probably don't need. In the course of those 3 visits I not only experienced this but observed it happening to other customers as well. I am disgusted my the lack of customer service and frankly the lack of moral of the two service ladies and other staff that I had to deal with. I literally have no idea how dealerships like this stay in business. Do not take your vehicle to get serviced at Brent Brown Toyota! You will regret it like I do. read more

I took my Prius there 2 years ago because the engine was misfiring. They told me it was because I had got some "bad gas", among the dumbest explanations I have ever heard, and charged me $340 for the evaluation, gas exchange, and assorted other "checks". A day later, it happened again. Due to the cost and ineffective diagnosis, I took it to another service station and they said it was because one of the spark plugs needed to be replaced. They replaced it, and the car ran like new. I cannot comment on their sales, but their service department is not only ineffective but avaricious and duplicitous. To top it off, they continue to send me email solicitations even though I have unsubscribed twice. Avoid. read more

While wanting to purchase a van, I came across one on the Brent Brown website. I put in an offer and waited to be call on it. I received a call the next day, the sales woman asked me if I wanted to come drive it, I said I would like to know first if my offer could be worked with, she said " let me ask my manager and I will call you back" 4 days later when I did not receive a call, I e mailed the dealership to find out any information. But no, the salesperson was extremely aggressive in me test driving a Camry. Politely I refused, so the person went and grabbed another salesperson, and then again I was being attacked about test driving the stupid Camry. Eventually I just gave in and drove the damn car, which did literally nothing to affect my car decision. After, there was a newer Prius available, which I was set on so we got all the paperwork signed and good to go. The accounting person assured me I would be able to keep the car.. A week later, I got a letter in the mail saying to bring it back because the financial institution rejected the loan. I was extremely frustrated with the entire experience. I was forced to drive a car I had zero interest in, sales people weren't nice, given the car to eventually have it taken back. I will NEVER purchase from them again. read more

Misleading and False Advertising on KSL. They advertised a 2020 Tacoma SR5 "SR5" "SR5" "5", not the SR, but the SR5 for $31800. I inquired about it and got back a quote for $30,031. I told the lady Jalessa Hopper or H, something that I am buying the car, she should get the paper read and send them. Then I got the papers and there was a $1000 hidden fee and it said it was the "SR". There is normally a $3000 price difference or more. However, since it was an advertised price I insisted that I am buying the SR5 for that price, not the SR. It was advertised after all. Of course, you can imagine, they weaseled themselves out of it and even wrote me an email back that "our relationship cannot be salvaged" and that I am not welcome there. I bought 2 New Toyota-s there the past 2 years. Wow, that is laughable. False advertising is illegal, and consumers can report it to consumer protection and the Fair Trade Association of the USA. At the very least, if argued that there are some 'small font' disclaimers, it still very deceitful and does not deserve to remain in business, such a dealership. And I doubt they will, unless changes take place all over, because Brent Brown is not the only one who has these poor deceitful practices. It's lying. Lying is fraud. It's that simple. read more
