My son purchased a truck from this dealership. The title was for a restored vehicle, however this dealership did not have the right to this vehicle. It belonged to someone else. They then registered the vehicle and we have been unable to have it registered nor use it for the past few years. According to Santos they are in the middle of a huge lawsuit. Cesar Santos is crooked as the day is long. Bought a car I was told had no issues and had never been in an accident. Today, after spending a thousand more than I bought the car for we discovered that it had, indeed been in a wreck. The underneath splash guards were not held in place properly, but instead 3 different kinds of wood screws were used. The oil leak was "fixed" by smearing JB weld over the oil pan where the leak is. We discovered that they couldn't fix the oil leak because the wreck had actually cracked the engine block and it needed a new engine from day one. Stay away from this place at all costs! BUYER BEWARE We had high hopes, but in the end it turned out to be the stereotypical used-car buying experience. About a week after driving the car off the lot, we found out that it needed thousands of dollars in repairs. The local staff reset the codes on the computer to clear the history that would indicate an error and when questioned about their unethical business practices they just quoted that their is no warranty and how they are protected by used car laws in Utah. Buyer Beware! Dishonest and shady. Family member bought a truck and within a week the same part that they had "repaired" previously broke again and left the vehicle unable to drive. Cesar refused to help with the part, shipping, repair and won't answer emails or phone calls. They are left with over a $3k repair as they wait for a part to ship. Stranded on a road trip and incurring multiple additional costs. He said he could repair it but won't because it doesn't help his business. Dude is a scum bag and knows he's selling cars that shouldn't be back on the road. This could have been dangerous had it happened in another area and had they been driving on any road besides the parking lot. 5 days after purchase! BE AWARE! Found a great deal on a car on ksl. Checked Blue Book and it was listed for $5,000 below it's value. I knew something was up. Out of curiosity I called and asked Cesar to send me the Carfax, since the post stated that it has been in 0 accidents and it's in perfect condition bla bla bla...He acted very busy and said that there were several people already coming to see the car, if it didn't sell and he had time, he'd send it to me. It seemed very odd becaus so far whenever i requested to have the Carfax emailed to me the salesman usually have no issue with it. I then googled the VIN and found the car in SEVERAL websites of damaged cars. In one of the descriptions, it said that the tittle might change after purchase...SCAM alert! The car also had/has HAIL damage, which was NEVER mentioned in his add! I'll pass and you should too! read more

After a few bad experiences, I tend to go into car dealerships with my guard up. I'm fast to walk away if they're too pushy or have other problems that are common in this industry. Glad to report that Cesar Santos LLC was an exception to all the stereotypes about used car dealers. Found a car listed on KSL and went for a look. Johnathan and Daniel were low-pressure and easy to talk with. The price was reasonable when compared to NADA and KBB, and they were willing to negotiate and lower the price a bit for a few minor repairs that our mechanic recommended. Next time we need a car, Cesar Santos will one of the first places we look. read more

I had bought my car from them and 2 weeks after buying the car they asked if I could get the emissions done on it (which should already have been done before I bought it) the car still doesn't pass emissions. And the car has some hail damage and i tried to trade it in but the carfax on it said it is total loss so now I am $17,000 into a car that is worth NOTHING. So DO NOT buy a car from this place! ***DO NOT GET A CAR FROM THIS DEALERSHIP*** I would give the dealership 0 stars if I could. Extremely dishonest, sketchy and will only do the minimum to barely get the car to pass inspections. We were told that there was front end damage to the car, but it had all been fixed. After driving for a day or so, the service engine light came on after I asked them to fix it. Then the transmission light came on. I was told that there was a 3 month warranty on ALL of their vehicles. I was told if there was anything wrong with the car, anything at all, to bring it back. I called and told them about the lights, they told me to come in. After having my car for two days they told me to come and pick it up. I asked what was fixed. I was told "it is a used car its not perfect condition, its not new" they claimed they were trying to help me even though they did nothing to fix the car. I called Cesar the owner. He was extremely rude! He told me the transmission was fine. I asked what the warranty covered. He said Transmission and Engine. I asked "what if I take it in to get fixed and they tell me the transmission is bad, will you fix it then? He said no, he only trusts his mechanic and his mechanic says it fine. I now have an $18k bill to fix only a few of the problems with my car, the transmission being the main problem. (I purchased my car at $24k). I have NO idea how they get any of their cars to pass and I do not understand being that dishonest with your customers. read more

After two weeks of searching we finally found the car that we wanted.We went by near closing time and took it for a quick drive. After chatting with Johnathon, we decided that we wanted to come back in the morning to get a better look at it in the daytime before putting down a deposit; we said we would be back first thing in the morning. I went back the minute they opened the next morning and drove away with the car for about an hour to take it to a good friend to look at some general car things. I decided that the car was great for my needs and headed back with my check in hand. When I got there, I was informed Cesar himself (knowing that I was out driving the car) accepted a deposit and committed to sell the car to another person. They say that with a deposit, no one can even drive that car. So how was someone able to put a deposit WHILE I was driving the car. They didn't bother to call and tell me that the other customer did it either and waited until I got back.They said they would call me the other person didn't go through with the sale, but I don't have very high hopes. I wasn't offered anything except for a "sorry, I'm not the boss. I just work here." from Johnathon. I would have considered buying other cars from them but not anymore. Their lack of communication and inability to give customer support merits a 1* review. In addition, when talking about the name of the company our first night, Johnathon told me that Carlos had to hurry and come up with a name for the business as he was getting in trouble for selling cars without a license, so he just chose his name. Bought a brand new Subaru from this man and I will never be doing business with the likes of him again. The clutch went out after 2,000 miles even though it was supposedly replaced right before I bought it, I asked him for help, (as he told me that if I had any problems they would fix them) and I was told they would do it for $1,000 and that that's just the way it is. My experience with this dealership was fantastic! Cesar was the best sales person I have ever dealt with in all my years of ever buying cars and I am 61 years old. We went to Provo to look at a car at another dealership and I was not happy at all with that dealership or the rude sales person. I had written down Cesar's name down but did not plan on stopping there because I was a little sceptical of refurbished/salvage titles. We decided to stop and we did a test drive and really liked the vehicle. I went inside to find out details about the car and that's when I met Cesar and he explained the titles to us. He even had a before picture of said vehicle that had been fixed. That in it self said a lot to me. At that point I told him I wanted to take car to mechanic to check car out and so we did. Long story short we did, all checked out great. Only one little issue and Cesar fixed it, no questions asked. When on the way to deliver the car to us his guys noticed the air conditioner was not blowing out cold air so Cesar called me and to let me know and they took it back to his mechanic and they fixed that too no charge to me. I did my homework on this car fax etc.and all was good. I also did my homework (reviews) on Cesar and like most reviews some were good and some bad, but if you want someone that will treat you fair and be honest and up front with you go to Cesar Santos LLC. I do not give 5 stars that often but this place and Cesar definitely deserve it! This car was for my granddaughter I will be returning for a car for myself in the near future. read more

Do not buy a car from this shady con man. He lied to me from the start of the negotiations about what needed to be fixed with the car, saying it was just a little thing here or there. When I showed him pictures of the damage to the car before the repairs he quickly changed his story, claiming he was out of the country when his shop fixed this car. I had my *trusted* mechanic do a pre-purchase inspection and was told that it would require $1000 in repairs to pass safety/emissions. Regardless that Cesar's asking price was above kbb/nada's fair dealer value for a clean title (and this was a rebuilt), he refused to come down $1000 in price for the needed repairs. I asked him why would I buy a car that can't pass safety? He basically couldn't answer. He doesn't care about selling you a car, he cares about selling you salvage for as much profit as he can trick out of you, and he lied throughout the whole time.
