I don't usually leave reviews, but I feel like people should know about the TERRIBLE experience I had with Metro Auto and the owners. My car was in an accident and the trunk wasn't fully sealed. One of the owners gave me a quote and said they could get the trunk sealed. When I came back later in the day to pick up my car, it was in worse condition than when I left it. The trunk was not sealed, it had a hard time opening, there were plastic shavings all over (idk what they were cutting without talking to the customer first?), AND there was a 3in strip of paint that was chipped off along with a little bend in the metal. When I told them that paint damage wasn't there before, they didn't believe me until I proved it with pictures I had luckily taken before. After going back and forth they said they would fix the paint damage and return the car to the condition it was when I brought it in, but I would need to go to a different shop to have the original problem fixed! They told me to come back the next day to pick up my car. After I left, I forgot something in my car so I returned to get it and overheard the owners swearing about me and my car! Also, of course they didn't spend the time or effort needed to fix the paint damage they caused and they only painted the few damaged inches leaving it slightly mismatched from the original paint. Overall, very unprofessional owners, and the work they did made my car worse than when I had originally brought it in. read more

Karl was great! He understood what repairs I needed and didn't try to upsell me at all. They made my beater car drivable and even checked the fluids and made my hood close better free of charge. They were fantastic and very fast. Would highly recommend. read more

I took my car to Metro to get a quote after my roommate backed into my car and scratched up the front bumper. I had gotten 3 other quotes before coming to Metro and they were all way more expensive -- anywhere from $200 to $800 more for the same repair. So I was already super happy with the price they'd given me. Frank was also so kind and very easy to work with. I drive a bright red car and I was worried about the quality of work I was going to receive on my car because red is sometimes hard to make look good after damage, but when I returned to pick it up a few days later it was seriously good as new! For real! It was like my car had never been scraped at all. I attached before and after pictures so you can see! The only complaints I have were that I called once in August to set up the appointment and left a voicemail and they never called back. I had to call them again a few weeks later, but Frank answered right away and we were able to schedule an appointment. Also, the mat on the driver's side of my car was super dirty when I got the car back, but it's nothing that a good vacuum job won't fix -- just a little inconvenient. Overall though, I would 100% recommend Metro Collision Repair for any repairs you need on the body of your car, and I'll definitely come back here if I have an issue again. read more

The work they did on our car was acceptable, but their customer service was horrendous. We dropped off our car on a Tuesday and it took them until Friday to finally give us a quote, and during that week they never even once reached out with an update on our car. And we only got our quote after we'd contacted them and asked what was taking so long. To which Frank replied, "I'm sorry, do YOU work on cars for a living?" We were so shocked and immediately called him out on how unprofessional he was being and he calmed down, but never apologized. He may have been irritated with us because we had been contacting him once a day for updates, but that was only because Metro was taking ZERO initiative to proactively communicate with us and our insurance. Anyway after this particular phone call they finally started to reach out with updates, and our car was miraculously finished just a few days later. In the end our car looks acceptable, but we dearly wished we had taken it somewhere else where we would have been treated with more respect and kindness. read more

A few months ago we purchased my wife's dream car--an all-wheel drive Lexus IS 350, which was hit by a car running a red light in an intersection in Orem. This accident ended with my wife being driven by ambulance to ER and with extensive damage to her new car--including both passenger-side doors being pushed inside of the car. My wife is still recovering from the accident, but her car, in her words, "looks better than it did when we bought it and drove off dealership lot". Metro towed her car to shop, provided a loaner vehicle, did "better than new" work, and were an absolute pleasure to work with from start to finish. I referred my older brother to them, whose Tacoma just got hit and has hood damage. He dropped off his car on Friday and so far his experience has been equally positive. Cameron knows how to deliver exceptional customer service. I hit a deer and then had secondary damage to my bumper from road construction. He took care of my car from start to finish but most importantly took care of me as a customer. My car looks beautiful and I have been so impressed with the whole experience. I wish every business delivered the customer service that Cameron does. He truly raises the bar in professionalism, quality of work, integrity, communication and honesty.
