Said somebody had broken into their lot and stole my battery. They replaced that but they acted like they didn't know why my paint was all torn up on the rear cap. Turns out it was from the people who stole it, slinging gravel in a flatbed. Made them pay for it Ridiculous that an RV would have 44 defects in it brand new. Even more ridiculous that these idiots would keep it a year trying to figure it out. I'm not talking to anything major or structural.. When I pick the unit up, they had a fat bill attached to it. What's that about? It's under warranty. Incompetent rip off artists Stay away Edit: in response to the "business owners" comments. Yes sir, are covering your rear, as I could not forget such a circumstance. If you're at 2400 W. 7th Ave., in Eugene, that's you. I don't care if you have records of a break in or not, your insurance paid for it. Before I pick up my unit, I had to call out the big guns of your dealership to administrate the mess and pare down the stupid bill to something more reasonable for the few items Warranty didn't cover. One guy got fired over it. Another one of the GS family members who served as an advocate to sort out the BS got demoted afterward (well that's what he told me ) because his decisions were viewed as losing money. You may not work on Keystone anymore, but you sure the hell did then. You guys even called and tried to get me to accept cheap interstate batteries after my two expensive Centennial 6 V golf cart batteries were stolen. Snakes. Paint repair and fiberglass repair on my rear cap work was done by the business adjacent (practically inside the fence) to your back parking lot . Oh, it was you alright. I would keep quiet if I were you because anything you say further is simply a lie of convenience and CYA. What responsibility or credibility is built upon. Something woefully lacking in the RV Repair business.

Before booking an appointment I went in to chat with the owner and service staff. I was impressed in the way they addressed my concerns. About two weeks later I I dropped my RV off at 8 am. My instructions were to check all seals, winterize, service the generator, remove current kitchen faucet and install the one I supplied, and check overhead cab area in my Winnebago Class C Outlook for leaks. Having paid to repair leaks in previous and current RV I was thinking the worst. Later that early afternoon I received a call saying that the clearance lights covers were cracked and he wanted to order them. I was relieved it was a simple problem. What impressed me was the dialog and call from the shop. My RV was repaired in a timely manner and what I thought was a more than a fair price. The invoice was itemized completely. While I have only one experience at Armstrong RV repair I will certainly be going back. If nothing else stop in and chat to see if that is a shop you want to create a relationship with.

We contacted him every week after we found that it had sold & got poor excuses why he did not have the money for us. After several weeks of this and many times of not getting a call back, I contacted the Eugene Police, they suggested filing a complaint with the Oregon DMV. I ended up talking with an Oregon DMV Investigator who, after hearing my complaint, said she would call RV Sales of Oregon and get back to me. WOOOW, 20 minutes later she called me back and said we would have our money next week AND WE DID !!!

Electricity and water hookups made us feel like we were cheating on our camping adventure, but the kids were grateful that we had air conditioning, microwaved meals, and that their iPads had power during our whole trip. I felt that I asked a lot of her considering this was a warranty issue/claim with an out of state business who also asked a lot of questions throughout the process, and she delivered. Regarding the warranty work, it was obviously an involved tedious repair and I feel it was repaired professionally and thoroughly. The warranty repair finish work was sloppy on the interior. Straightline took responsibility for this. I brought the vehicle back in and they corrected all issues. In addition to warranty work, I had elective paint work done and the craftsmanship was phenomenal. The color match to the factory color is beautiful. The paint warranty is superior. I am definitely satisfied with the ultimate outcome of this experience and would give them my business again.
