It is located on Main St. across from the Gresham History Museum and next door to the Local Cow. We come every month or so, and have always received a friendly greeting, and the staff work together to make the customers' experience a delight. They have handmade candies, Carmel corn and other sweets to bring home. On the display rounds you often find candy bars and packages that will bring back nostalgia. Besides these, a varitey of stuffies, stickers, games and cups. At the counter, they serve hand scooped ice cream and Boba drinks. ICandy truly has something for anyone with a sweet tooth.

I even asked the staff member if I had gotten the right drink. They said yes, but didn't ask if something was wrong, offer to remake it, or seem concerned that I clearly wasn't happy with it. It was pretty awkward since I had already paid for it and honestly thought it tasted gross. I also tried the haystack chocolate, which tasted old and stale. Overall, really disappointing experience. I wouldn't recommend it.

Plus, you can always ask the staff to pop your bag on the scale if you want to check your total as you go. Is it a bit of a splurge? Sure. But you're paying for the convenience of snacking while you shop or grabbing a "bulk candy salad" of your favorite gummies before heading into the movie theater next door. The selection is a decent size, and while the open air environment means a few pieces are on the firmer side, it's still a blast to browse. With friendly service, fun trinkets, and occasional giveaways, this is a spot I'll definitely keep frequenting!

But . . . many of the bin treats I tried seemed tired, old, dry, and lacking in high end candy store flavor. The Jordan Almond candies tasted less than sweet and a bit dry and stale. The other candies were lacking, too - lacking in taste, sweetness, and richness, that I would have expected from a specialty store rather than being met with an over the counter type candy experience. :(

We arrived early and our movie didn't start for a few more hours, so we decided to kill some time at My Candy Fix and the next door GameStop. While in My Candy Fix, I noticed they had Sno-Biz snocones. We got some candy and walked around the mall a little bit before returning. I got a small size snocone and had to wait a little while as the cashier had to tend to other customers. Once the other customers were helped, I got my cone, and John offered to put in some extra to compensate the wait. One of my friends wanted to know what the snocone syrup tasted like, and offered to buy a small size without any ice. John told him that there was no need to pay, and gave him a "shot" of strawberry snocone syrup. After that, my other friend wanted to try the Rube Goldberg-esque gumball machine. Towards the end of the gumball's ride, it fell off the track. It still fell into the dispenser, but we still wanted to know what happened at the end. That's when John came over and put in his own coins to see why the gumball fell off. After finding out, he too a gumball from the top of the machine and put it on the remaining part of the track so we could see how it ends. And he also let us keep the test-gumballs! Overall, my experience was incredible and without John, it would've just been another run-of-the-mill candy store. But John made my friends and my experience worthwhile, and I'll be sure to drop by again.
