My husband I built a new home and needed to add furniture since we had more square footage. I went to Diane and she basically became a fairy godmother that made all of my wishes come true. I used to second guess everything and now when she says she has found the perfect piece, I hand her my charge card and say thank you! She has always been spot on with her choices for me. I now have a one of a kind, elegant but casual home that I LOVE and I can't believe I'm the lucky one that lives there!

After learning about all the services they provide, my husband and I soon became very happy clients. We were able to experience almost every service that this amazing local business provides. People can't believe it when I tell them everything Diane and her team did for us, from remodeling a new house to selling our existing home. Here's what they accomplished in just a short time: - Referred us to a Licensed General Contractor who did the remodel on our new home - Served as Project Manager and Designer during the remodel - Provided us with furniture and artwork from their store and procured the rest from quality vendors - Provided lighting fixtures and fans - Found a wonderful workroom that built a beautiful custom banquette for our eat-in kitchen - Took care of all the furniture delivery and set up - Served as agent for the sale of our existing home, found several buyers, and sold our 35 year old home in less than a week! One of the services I really appreciated was the opportunity to try furniture from the store in my home before making the decision to buy it. Daniel and his crew would bring pieces over and set them up, giving us the opportunity to see how they look in the home before buying them. We did this with large furniture pieces and even artwork. If we weren't interested, Daniel would come back and load them up again, no questions asked. It was a wonderful way to figure out the traffic flow in our new home and avoid having any regrets about the purchases we made. As I mentioned, Diane also provides Real Estate services that will get your home sold FAST! She and her team are able to stage your home with furnishings, artwork and accessories from their store in a way that will bring you buyers! We really did have FUN (!) remodeling our new home and selling our existing home, thanks to Distinctive Interiors and Design. So happy that I just wandered into their store and met these wonderful people.

Think you can't afford an interior designer? Don't be so sure. My husband and I bought some…read morefurniture (impulse buy) less than 9 months ago and have been sorry from the day it arrived. Funny how fabric on a 6-inch swatch looks totally different on a large sofa. After many arguments and fruitless hours looking for just an area rug, we were left with only three options. 1. Divorce with a custody battle over who had to take the furniture. 2. Take up smoking so we could accidentally set the sofa on fire. 3. Hire an interior designer. The least costly of the three. We went with the latter, and it was the best decision we could have made. I found Suzanne on a Google search, not the preferred way to find a designer, but we lucked out. She is flexible and will provide as much or as little guidance in the design process as you would like, anything from just a consultation on paint color to actually shopping for and purchasing the furnishings, the route we chose. Suzanne is fast, too. Within a week of getting our painting completed, she had purchased and arranged for delivery of all of our new furnishings (she also used what we had already bought). We were not allowed to see the room until it was completed, just like on HGTV. I used to think the shocked look on the homeowner's face was well-rehearsed, but my husband and I could not believe it was the same room! And although we had the option to return anything we did not like, of about 30 items she chose for us, which included everything from furniture and accessories to lighting and artwork, we returned one piece. And this is from someone who thinks they need self-check return lines. She was always mindful of our budget, which was probably pathetic by Scottsdale standards, but you can't tell by the finished project (I have posted a couple photos). She also offers redesign services, using your existing stuff in new ways. As for the area rug, we love what she chose. Unfortunately, so do the two destruction machines that sneak out every night to claw it. We're hitting PetsMart this weekend for devices to scare the crap out of them, wait I don't need that on the rug either! I'm sure the puking on it will come sooner rather than later.

Work done included removing a wall separating two rooms, converting the fire place into a very eye catching feature, new floors, full master bathroom transformation, furniture for the entire home, new artwork and more. I am completely thrilled to have worked with Suzanne, and would highly recommend an initial consultation with her to see if her services can be beneficial.

We had a good idea of the style we wanted, but the thought of going to dozens of stores to find all the products and materials and piecing it all together was overwhelming. That's where these ladies shine. They presented us with selections of tile, flooring, paint colors, wall paper, lighting, plumbing fixtures, furniture, and accessories. They always had a few alternative selections to choose from and the products and materials they presented were better than we could have ever found on our own. With Andrea and Annie's help, our house is more beautiful than we ever imagined. I would highly recommend Red Egg Design Group to anyone!!

Every single choice she's guided me through has turned out breathtakingly beautiful. Celia also helped me choose the colors and placement for my pendant lighting and gave me the brilliant idea to put a large mirror on a feature wall -- it looks fabulous and completely transformed the space. She advised me on artwork I discovered at the store, helping me understand how it would look in my home, and she thoughtfully guided placement of multiple pieces. She also picked out my coffee tables and a stunning rug -- pieces I absolutely love and likely would have overlooked without her vision. Her talent is undeniable.
