It may be a small store, but they pack a ton in... from all kinds of home accessories to classy paper goods for special events, and even some really great gifts for kids, their products are beautiful and high quality. I love their selection of disposable cheese / charcuterie boards, their mugs with cute phrases on them, their colorful blankets and baskets, candles, etc... I recently went in and found a couple of items for a friend with Bre's assistance. She was super knowledgeable when I told her about the recipient and occasion and wrapped everything up beautifully. When searching for unique home items and lovable entertaining pieces, urbAna always seems to step up the plate! The owners, Ana and her husband, pay very close attention to detail and help make suggestions while choosing gifts or planning a party. They are extremely personable and conscientious, so it's always a treat to have them greet you when you are perusing the store. I would agree with another review that urbAna reflects that of Anthroplogie without the clothes, BUT when I was in a few days ago, there were a few tanks for sale that benefited a charity. They also have adorable cooking aprons for both adults and kiddos. Sometimes, they do have crafting sessions, reminiscent of "live" Pinterest sessions. I'm not sure how often they do that now. Once in, I noticed the young lady (who I later realized is the owner) was very welcoming and professional, and really making an effort to connect and engage with customers. I love this store...especially given that its now down the street at the quarter! For a relatively small space, they have curated the perfect selection of gifts for the home, men, women and kids! There is truly something for everyone. I popped in this week for a special collection of gifts before leaving town. My hands were never full while shopping and they are always so helpful with suggestions and what is new. After I quickly found all the perfect things, they kindly got it all ready to travel. I always love a shop that offers gift wrapping as I love a beautifully wrapped gift myself. Both Ana and Brian went above and beyond in bubble wrapping my items as well as including boxes, wrap and ribbon making it easy to assemble upon arrival. Did know what to expect when I stepped in here but I'm glad I did. This was definitely a place with some super unique items. I came in just a kind of Window Shop but ended up leaving spending $50 on various items. This is really one of those places that you can kind of just get lost in I guess the best way to kind of describe it is an antique shop meets Spencer's. Urbana is Should be called Awesome-Ana!!! I ordered a really nice beverage dispenser, and they were able to get it in early just in time for our Party. After getting it home we noticed that it had a manufacturers defect. I happened to have Ana's cell phone number. It was New Year's Eve and the store had already closed. She said she would be there in 15 minutes, she was Awesome-Ana! Now we are set up for our Party Tomorrow, my little Girls Birthday! Customer service at its finest! Awesome family owned boutique and perfect fit for the Arcadia neighborhood in Phoenix! My wife and I registered here for our wedding and the owners, Ana and Brian, made it a special, personal, and memorable experience. They even had champagne for us while we shopped and registered! All of urbAna's products are very unique and will compliment any home. You will have trouble finding these items anywhere else in Phoenix! We like to support local businesses, so we enjoyed that many of the products are USA made and several are from independent local AZ suppliers...
