By far, hands down the very BEST driving school in all of South Florida! My instructor, Kattya M…read more was patient, kind and so informative--eased any worry and jitters that I had prior to hitting the road. Kattya and all of the staff at Andina Driving School are industry experts and have been doing this for decades. Kattya helped me understand all the rules of the road and held my hand through all stages of licensure. I started off classes anxious because the traffic in Miami is overwhelming and to be honest, I didn't have much experience behind the wheel, coming from a city where I took public transit. Kattya assured me that all would be well and reminded me to breathe throughout my lessons. I signed up for a package of 25 hours, which I will tell you was enough for me to sink my teeth into and make me feel confident on the road. After passing my test successfully upon the first try, I still called Andina back and scheduled another 10 hours because I was planning on taking a cross-county road trip and wanted to feel extra prepared behind the wheel. I really cannot recommend Andina Driving School and of its staff enough. Kattya was patient, kind, more than diligent, empathetic and communicative. Catch me behind the wheel!

On top of having anxiety I also have an orthopedic disability that affects my hands greatly causing them to fuse & curl into fists (mitten deformity). Despite this setback Kattya and I explored various options to help navigate the steering wheel. On top of this, she was determined to help me reach my goal of obtaining my drivers license. In March 2024, I finally completed my goal and it was all thanks to her. I cannot express my level of gratitude I felt & it was all thanks to her! The best instructor ever, to this day I still use her tips to help me drive. Cannot recommend anyone better!!!

She made me feel comfortable driving and gave me the confidence to finally get on the road. I took 6 hours of lessons for about a month. Prior to booking lessons with Continental I had made it clear that I had a New York State permit. I received false information letting me know that everything will be fine with the permit and that I would be able to book and take my test with my New York State permit. I made sure to inquire about this as to not waste my time or the company's time. After taking my lessons, my test was booked and no additional information/instructions given. I arrived early to the test site and waited for the person administrating the test to arrive. When I was going to fill the forms to get started, I presented the gentleman with my New York State Permit only to be denied. I let him know that I was not told that I needed a Florida permit in order to take the test and that I was misled into thinking I'd be able to take my drivers test that morning. The lack of clarity from the company is abhorrent and a money grabbing scheme. At this point, I was hysterical because 1) I spent money on transportation to get to school 2) I had wasted my morning waiting for nothing and he offered me no solutions 3) the man continued to argue with me saying that I heard the wrong information. I am not in the business of wasting my time or anybody else's time so why would I book an appointment if I did not have the correct documentation for the test? Instead of offering an apology for the inconvenience he caused, he continued to argue with to tell me I heard wrong and calling me a liar. I ended up getting refunded for the test but this review is about the lack of clarity & communication from this driving school. Calling a client a liar & not admitting your mistakes is horrible customer service. I implore you to take a course in providing great customer service as to not lose future customers. This information should be on the driving schools website as to not mislead future drivers. Although I was satisfied with my classes, I would never recommend this school to anybody I know just based off the interaction I had on the day I was supposed to take my driving lesson. Editing review to add: Even the response from the owner is abhorrent. He continues to try place blame on the situation instead of using this as a learning moment for himself and for his company. After reviewing other websites for driving school in the area, I conclude that Continentals website did not provide clear information and that when asked the owner intentionally provided me with misinformation. I am well aware of what is stated on the Florida DMV website & I never stated that Continental made the rules as I understand how rules work.
