Kattya and all of the staff at Andina Driving School are industry experts and have been doing this for decades. Kattya helped me understand all the rules of the road and held my hand through all stages of licensure. I started off classes anxious because the traffic in Miami is overwhelming and to be honest, I didn't have much experience behind the wheel, coming from a city where I took public transit. Kattya assured me that all would be well and reminded me to breathe throughout my lessons. I signed up for a package of 25 hours, which I will tell you was enough for me to sink my teeth into and make me feel confident on the road. I didn't see his call so I called him 6 minutes later thinking that he has called me because he's waiting for me outside. I was wrong. He told me that he called (one time 6 min ago right before the appointment) to confirm our lesson but I didn't pick up. I explained that I have work later today but I'll wait for him so I kept waiting. The guy just decided to ignore me. In Anton's opinion hiding like a little girl, ignoring and declining calls when someone's waiting for him is the best business strategy. Apparently Anton just woke up and was trying to find any excuse to cancel the lesson and continue his beauty sleep.

I am writing this review to share the very negative experience I had teaching at this school. I am not here to judge anyone personally, but I do want to warn both students and teachers about what I experienced at MILA. DYSFUNCTIONAL AND TOXIC ENVIRONMENT First, in my experience, this school seems to focus primarily on business rather than education. Students are frequently on their phones or sleeping during class, and teachers are often expected to handle these situations on their own because the administration provides very little support. I also experienced serious problems with student behavior. Some students were disrespectful toward both their classmates and their teachers, making it extremely difficult to maintain a productive and professional learning environment. In my view, the school's priorities appear to be more focused on generating revenue than on maintaining educational standards or supporting its teachers. Based on my personal experience, my advice is very clear: DO NOT ATTEND THIS SCHOOL, AND DO NOT TEACH AT THIS SCHOOL.
