And I did! This school is fast paced but the information is given so effectively by such great professors that really enjoy teaching their specialties and it makes such a difference.. My first class was scary and rough I had professor Baker and she is a tough teacher it made me feel uncertain in if I could do it. But as the class went on and I started learning more and understanding her she was literally just a great teacher and knew how we needed to be delivered the fundamentals to lay that ground work for us and im telling u it worked so many things have suck and she was so dedicated to us. She'd do after school group zooms with us to help us learn more and get the pieces to fall into place. Her wisdom, love, and dedication to her students and her teaching made it all so easy to take in and gave us a thirst for her knowledge. Then we had her again in med surg and we were all feeling confident walking in because we knew if Baker knew it she'd pass it on to us. Dean/Professor DelCoro taught us pharm and medsurg and the way he broke things down and made connections to each drug and disease with a story or life experience was perfect for people who learn like i do. His classes were probably my hardest but he gave us so many pp, stories and silly pictures to relate to things and we all ended up doing well in his class. Then Professor Zerfas who did our mental health drugs and mental health clinical was just a genius. She is such a smart intellectual woman, who not only knows the world of psych like the back of her hand but her love for it just pours out of her all day. And her intellect is so intriguing that it makes u want to learn more and know more. And personally the reason I changed to wanting to do mental health. Also Professor Phillips who taught mental health that woman is a gem. So sweet so smart and everything about her, her class and teaching helps you to better understand people and how to effectively communicate with anyone. Professor Greiner in maternity/peds was incredible her love, knowledge and expertise in that field makes her class so enjoyable. And the excitement she gets showing us all her little replicas and doing all the Sims shows her dedication not just to us but to the specialty. Then there's Professor Prince whose last name should really be queen bc she is the damn queen! She teaches critical care which for me helped refresh me on everything from past classes and tie it all together. She is incredible! Wise beyond belief, teaches you and shows you examples and has so many life experiences to help drive her points home. She also was my preceptor and I swear I jumped for joy when I heard that bc I knew I could pick her brain all day on anything and everything I still had questions on. And I did! Overall the school was amazing, the hrs, days, workload, professors, Dean, Mrs.Desiree the queen of schedules who does her best for everyone. And the resources we were given even after graduation to keep us studying so we all could walk in to take our NCLEX without any doubt or horsemen on our shoulders. I love this school! Also before i give my 5 i want to mention how incredible and thankful i am for this school bc when I did struggle in one of my classes and was freaking out about to fail it Professor Prince pulled me aside worked with me one on one and talked with me but even still I was upset, scared and feeling like crap, and she did something I never would have expected from a Professor, she pulled out a book of scripture and read it with me. That action alone blew me away.. Then 2 weeks after I graduated I was going thru a tough time with family and Professor Phillips called to check on how my nclex studying was going, heard in my voice I wasnt ok and instantly switched into friend mode and talked me thru alot and prayed with me over my family, my son and all I had been worrying about. These acts aren't what professors do, these are acts that people who truly want to see you do well in all areas of life do. In Cambridge you're not just another student, you're a person! They know u by name, they know you have a life outside of there and ur needs and they work to help you navigate thru all that so u can be the success you want to be.

In my experience, she has frequently been late, absent, or unavailable during scheduled lab time. There have been many occasions when students were expected to be in person learning how to perform scans, but she was not physically present in the lab to provide the hands-on instruction we are paying for. Students have repeatedly raised concerns with the dean regarding her attendance and lack of involvement in the lab. We are often told that the issue will be addressed, but from my experience, the same problems continue without meaningful improvement. There have also been times when instruction was provided through Zoom instead of in person, despite this being an in-person program. During some Zoom sessions, there have been significant background distractions, including children and outdoor noise, which made it difficult to focus and learn. On other occasions, we have had to take multiple quizzes covering material that we felt had not been adequately taught beforehand. One of my greatest concerns is the disconnect between the expectations for our scanning competencies and the instruction we receive. Professor McCain is extremely particular about the images students are required to obtain and how those images should look. High standards are understandable in a healthcare program, but students should first be properly taught and given adequate hands-on instruction to meet those standards. It is extremely frustrating to be graded harshly on scanning techniques when the professor responsible for teaching those techniques is frequently unavailable in the lab. As students, we have found ourselves teaching one another or reaching out to ultrasound technologists we know from our clinical sites for help learning scans that should be taught during our scheduled lab instruction. I have also personally observed behavior from this professor that I found concerning, including appearing disoriented at times and having difficulty remembering previous instructions or conversations. I cannot speak to the cause of that behavior, and I do not want to make an unsupported accusation. However, I believe the school administration should take students' concerns seriously and investigate whether she is able to consistently fulfill the responsibilities expected of an instructor. Students are paying a significant amount of money for an education that is supposed to include hands-on, in-person training. We should not have to teach ourselves while also being held to extremely strict competency standards. My purpose in writing this review is not to attack anyone personally. I am sharing my experience because prospective students deserve to know what they may encounter, and current students deserve qualified, consistent, present instructors who actually teach the skills they are expected to master. I sincerely hope Cambridge administration takes these complaints seriously and makes meaningful changes rather than continuing to dismiss repeated student concerns.

I have no previous medical background so It was important that the teacher who taught me was patient and basically taught me everything as if I had never heard or done CPR before since I actually hadn't! Also, my mom who babysits my son had to be certified also, she doesn't know English so when looking for teachers I made sure the person would be bilingual. When I called this place, Mary herself answered and we spoke for 40 minutes. Right away I knew I wanted to get certified with her. She came to my home and brought all the equipment. She was patient with my mom and basically did the class in English for my boyfriend and I and Spanish for my mom. She taught us everything we needed to know. She brought actual dummies to practice CPR and brought an AED and taught us how to use it. Doing all this in the comfort of my own home was priceless. Mary has so much knowledge, she was a nurse for many years and before that a medic. We are all very satisfied with Mary and I will recommend her a million times over!

They have not been able to get their act together yet taken $13,999 from me and One week after I sent them wire for that amount they deactivated my NSU email and shark link account and withdrew me from all of my classes for fall 2025. I had applied to six other universities and not pursued those even though they would've been closer to my home because I thought NOVA would be the best as they promoted themselves and told me everything will be fine. Tonight just before 8:30pm I was sitting at my station and he walked up to me yelling at me. He stated he wanted to know if I heard the news since I was in someone else's business. I told him to use his inside voice when speaking to me and that I could hear him because I wasn't listening to anything in myAirPods. Last week Steve was less than helpful with another student and laughed in her face and told her good luck finding her kit that someone had taken. The other student asked me to go downstairs with her for support to ask to speak with the owner (his mom) or the director because he is always so difficult. When we went to speak to Steve he lied and said that management and administration were gone for the day but as soon as we said the other student was calling the police to make a report STEVE walked off and came back and said the director will be out of her office to speak to that student. When I asked him about lying to us he was dismissive and became offended we wanted you to speak with his mommy. Turns out his brother DAYKEL also works here and met with the other student and someone else who also didn't want to review camera footage to see who took hundreds of dollars of products that belonged to other student. I responded and said yes I heard the other student got her kit back and that they were still not any help with finding who took the student's kit from the Spa and how it turned up later in a classroom on the other side of the school. I also said it's sad that she had to call the police, send an email, and write complaints for you'll to look into it. He began to scream once more at me as I was talking while walking off in front of my classmate and another teacher's entire class. Steve is extremely rude to a lot of the female students and absolutely nothing is done about it! He should be more focused on his legal case instead of demeaning and disrespecting the female students. The fact that he continues to be employed here and is allowed to treat the female students this way is completely unacceptable! We're paying students and we are here to get an education we are not paying to be mistreated and lied to by the owner's son! Ask the school to send you the video. I got up immediately and spoke to my teacher about it and decided to come home and file my complaint. Since I've been enrolled here I've had nothing but trouble from administration. The teachers are great but having to resign papers they have completed incorrect, and waiting weeks for kits, being charged for items I don't need, and dealing with an immature disrespectful child of the owner is definitely the very last strike. Our classes are supposed to end at 10pm every night at 9:45-9:50 he plays this song as loud as he can through the intercom with lyrics that basically say get out and good night forcing the students to leave. As a paying productive member of society I will not be harassed by Steve or anyone else who may be family or work for the owner. Going forward I will call the police and press charges harassment is a serious offense. Unfortunately Steve is always at the front desk when I am there and students speaking to administration gets put off because he lies about them being there.
