The place is far if you live in north Dade County. I thought I was on my way to the Keys, LOLLLL. However, it is WORTH the drive! John was our instructor for the BLS/ACLS skills and he is the TRUTH!! A wealth of knowledge and he makes you feel comfortable and confident in your knowledge and skills. So, I am unsure if you have a choice to pick your instructor. If you do, you can't go wrong with John. This place is clean and plenty of room to practice your skills. It was only 4 people in my class. So, I can appreciate the small class size because it allows you ample time to review, asks questions, and practice your skills. I cannot recommend this place enough! Clean facility and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Once you complete your skills and testing, they will offer to print your card(s); if you would like. I will definitely return in the future to update my CPR certifications! Thanks again John, you ROCK!!!

I am so lucky I found this company on Yelp! After my son was diagnosed with a heart condition, I…read moreimmediately started doing research on finding the best place to get CPR Certified. I looked and read about a lot of different places but most seemed to be boring, or there wasn't enough one on one attention. I have no previous medical background so It was important that the teacher who taught me was patient and basically taught me everything as if I had never heard or done CPR before since I actually hadn't! Also, my mom who babysits my son had to be certified also, she doesn't know English so when looking for teachers I made sure the person would be bilingual. When I called this place, Mary herself answered and we spoke for 40 minutes. Right away I knew I wanted to get certified with her. She came to my home and brought all the equipment. She was patient with my mom and basically did the class in English for my boyfriend and I and Spanish for my mom. She taught us everything we needed to know. She brought actual dummies to practice CPR and brought an AED and taught us how to use it. Doing all this in the comfort of my own home was priceless. Mary has so much knowledge, she was a nurse for many years and before that a medic. We are all very satisfied with Mary and I will recommend her a million times over!

Dr. Jay is funny and personable and he makes you WORK! I feel 100% more confident with my BLS skills. I have had many other CPR classes and they were no where near as in depth as this one, in other classes the teacher often looked disinterested, basically didn't even practice compressions, or show us how to properly use the AED or they would just give a brief review and sign us off. I am so glad I did not renew my BLS with these previous guys again! This is NOT the case in Dr. Jay's class. He actually makes you practice till you get the technique right, he made my confidence grow, I learned the AED how to use it correctly, CPR when to do it when not, different scenarios that might happen, I learned how to help an adult, kid, and infant pt who might be choking. It was great and I will be returning for my ACLS and PALS and any further BLS !
