This is hands-down the BEST place for CPR certifications. I need ACLS for a PRN job and this place popped up! Easy to book your course online and schedule your in-person skills session. The place is far if you live in north Dade County. I thought I was on my way to the Keys, LOLLLL. However, it is WORTH the drive! John was our instructor for the BLS/ACLS skills and he is the TRUTH!! A wealth of knowledge and he makes you feel comfortable and confident in your knowledge and skills. So, I am unsure if you have a choice to pick your instructor. If you do, you can't go wrong with John. This place is clean and plenty of room to practice your skills. It was only 4 people in my class. So, I can appreciate the small class size because it allows you ample time to review, asks questions, and practice your skills. I cannot recommend this place enough! Clean facility and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Once you complete your skills and testing, they will offer to print your card(s); if you would like. I will definitely return in the future to update my CPR certifications! Thanks again John, you ROCK!!! read more

Very friendly and professional staff. John the instructor was very knowledgeable and helpful.

This spot made it so easy to receive my CPR certification and learn a lot while doing so! They were so helpful and kind and taught me a lot within my hour class. I did an online course and then went in person for my skills test. During Covid they were extremely efficient and CLEAN, cleaning all the dummies when we were done and so forth. Definitely will go back every two years. read more

I come to the Miami CPR (The Nursing Station) for all my CPR (BLS & ACLS) because hands down they are awesome every time. This place is amazing. I scheduled the wrong type of class and they worked with me to still get me certified the same day. My instructor had curly hair, I didn't get a chance to catch her name I believe it was Dorthy. Any question I had she answered and she made sure I knew the correct steps. Dorothy and Kiana were both extremely kind and helpful and made the BLS assessment easier than I thought. I had to take the assessment for new employment for a hospital position. Everyone in my class was a nurse but me. I thought I would feel left behind, but I didn't and even my classmates were helpful. I would absolutely recommend them for the BLS training and to take the assessment at. read more

ACLS, PALS, BLS and CPR / AED all in one convenient place. Knitty-grittz; *They have a referral system. Refer 4 people and get a free re-cert. So, if you decide to use them then hook a brother up ;]. **No refunds but you can reschedule. Be sure you're signing up for the right course. If you're doing E-learning, you have 60 days to complete the skills portion after testing. *** If you're doing the E-learning you don't need to buy the book. You'll have access to it on the AHA website for 2 years so save your login info. Long version; Found them online while looking for re-certification. They had rave reviews and checked out on the legitimacy front so I decided to check them out. They are located in a little shopping center about 1/2 mile from the highway - parking at 9 AM was cake. Especially since most of the stores in the plaza were closed. To get started you go on Miamicpr.NET (.com is a different business) and select the course you're looking for. Pay, set a date or choose to call later to set the appointment. The classes can be a blended online (E-learning) for the testing and in person for skills application or all done face to face if you choose. I went the E-learning route for ACLS and I loved it - there were these E-simulations you have to do that are annoying at first but they become fun once you get the hang of it. I'd say the E-learning is the way to go. It'll take a little longer but I feel like you'll learn and absorb more of the information. No matter the cert, you'll have a hands on skills portion. This is basically the CPR/AED skills. Making sure you perform compressions properly, know how to bag and use the AED. For ACLS you just stick with the adult parts. I was in and out in about 1.5hrs. Might have taken a little less time but there was some miscommunication between the staff so the instructor didn't realize me and some other dude were just there for skills. Not a big deal though, I was expecting 2 hours anyway. Once you're done they print your certs and you're free to go. They laminate for a few bucks too - worth it IMO. read more

Great place! They're really quick to respond to emails/questions. Booking the class was super easy & cheaper than other places I looked into. I highly recommend doing the online course. According to the staff, it's a bit harder but I found it really helpful. You get to do the cases over and over as many times as you like which is great if you truly wanna learn it. The online course is good for a whole year so even if you finish, you can still go back and practice on the simulations. For the skills session, our ACLS instructor was Arsenio. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. I really appreciate that he spent a whole extra hour with us explaining every little thing and making sure we understood why everything is done the way it is. He was great :) Definitely recommend The Nursing Station!! read more

Great CPR class. Nice instructor, nice people in the front office. Small class, perfect.

5 stars all the way!! I can't say enough positive things about the constructive learning environment! Low stress, non-punitive and information that will stay long term! The staff was warm and friendly. The instructors, including Joseph Ocasio were well spoken and eager to help! I've been a nurse in a nationally recognized hospital for 17 years and this is the way to attain long term knowledge! Plus, they even offered lunch on them!!! Worth every dime!!! read more

I came here for my bls and it went great! Dorothy is a great instructor with lots of knowledge on what she's doing! The fact that I was able to do the online portion at home helped a lot due to my schedule, then I came in on Saturday to do the hands on skills. I am officially certified again and it didn't seem very hectic to do. Will come back to do my recertification, by the way you get a $10 off for be a returning customer. read more

I needed to find a facility that could do my BLS and ACLS quick. I spent days looking to see where I could go that is accepted by my facility. I found Miami CPR from a list on the AHA website of facilities that teaches the new 2020 updated guidelines. I needed the class right away and they were able to accommodate me. The instructor was very knowledgeable and gave great examples and demonstrations. He was able to clarify all our questions and the scenarios he gave us really made the process and update of ACLS do's and dont's stick to my memory. Everyone from the check in was very friendly and helpful. The facility was well maintained. There was two separate areas for multiple classes and testing to happen at the same time. The hands on time and talking out scenarios and demonstration was appropriate to our jobs and role function during an emergency. I highly recommend this place for new training or refresher courses. I love the nursing station (Miami CPR)! I had my cpr training this morning and is was a great experience. I needed CPR, first aid, and AED training for my job and I was recommended someone from a coworker, but my schedule just didn't coincide with his and his training sites were too far for me. After doing some research I came across the nursing station. I looked over their website and saw that they offered all kinds of trainings through both AHA and ASHI. I called the number I found and spoke to Dorothy who was not only very sweet, but incredibly helpful and was able to answer all of my questions. I made my appointment online and was then sent a link to complete an online portion, once completed I was sent my certificate that was to be brought in the day of my appointment. My instructor was Priscilla, who was also very sweet, helpful, and patient. I'm supposed to receive my cpr card later today. I will definitely come back in 2 years for my recertification! read more

Small facility in a warehouse area, but comfortable & very efficient place. Everyone is friendly and professional. Got my ACLS done pretty quickly and the instructor was pretty good at helping me understand the subject matter. The only thing that was a little distracting was the ACLS instructor teaching someone something else a few feet away from me while I was trying to pay attention to the super long video that we always have to watch at these classes, but other than that, the class was great & really informative. I'd definitely recommend to others. read more
