I normally do not take the time to leave reviews (especially detailed ones) but this one is well deserved. After contacting a few alternative places that offered the BLS hands on class, I decided to do it at Miami CPR for a few reasons. First off, Dorothy was extremely helpful and informative during my initial phone call where I asked for more information. Secondly, they offer classes on weekends. Yes, Sunday included. Every other place I had tried previously only offered the usual Monday-Friday business hour classes. They also offer an hour long BLS class as opposed to most places that were offering a 3 hour long class. Thirdly, the ability to purchase the BLS package through their website made it so easy. Especially the fact that I received the activation key for the online portion instantly through my email. They made the whole process before even taking the hands on skill class at their facility a smooth process. After arriving at their facility, I was greeted and immediately helped by all 3 staff members that were there. Danet instructed the class and was very knowledgeable. Dorothy and the other staff member were also there to help and were extremely knowledgeable as well. I received my BLS card instantly after the class was over. They made the whole process, from beginning to the very end a breeze. I will definitely recommend and will be coming back to do my ACLS thanks to their great attention to detail. I attended a BLS course here for certification. My instructor Dorothy was very knowledgeable, friendly, and willing to work around any needs I had. I actually had to sign up last minute to meet a timeline for a new job I was starting. Dorothy was amazing -- helping me get scheduled and explaining how everything would work. Instruction left plenty of time for questions that were answered thoroughly. Great feedback was given during the hands-on practice. I did the classroom instruction - but there are other options where your can do the instruction part online and then do the skills test part in person. I believe the skills testing is offered 7 days a week. This may be helpful for those who don't have much time all at once. Also, I'm an English speaker, but I did notice the written test has a Spanish version. In 24 hours I was scheduled, properly trained, and credentialed. Great experience. I completed the online training for both BLS and ACLS and then went in for the skills and certification testing. They were prompt via email when I had questions before my testing date and very accommodating. I had signed up for two separate sessions, on two different dates, thinking that they both had to start at 9am and so I needed to attend two different dates to get both certifications. Their office noticed I signed up for two different dates and emailed ME to ask ME if it would be more convenient for me if they did both the same day, back to back. I was very impressed by this and appreciative of their flexibility and accommodation. On the skills/testing day, the skills session leader was very knowledgeable and efficient. Class started on time and was efficient but thorough. I had a great experience and would recommend to anyone looking for an educational but efficient way to certify in BLS and ACLS. Miami CPR made is so easy to obtain my recertification. Unlike many places who expect you to spend 4 hours with them on their schedule, Miami CPR allows you to review your material online before going in for a skills check off so you only have to spend 1 hour there and they are literally open everyday. This is the first time I think I've ever actually enjoyed a CPR class. Our instructor, Arsenio, was engaging, funny, and helpful. The facility is clean and they provide all the equipment to be able to actually perform CPR as opposed to mimicking the action. By the end of your class, you have your knowledge and your CPR card. I will definitely be using them for my next recertification!! :D read more

What an amazing organization! The instructors are extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and experienced. Everyone is encouraging and enthusiastic. The classrooms are large with state-of-the-art equipment and more than enough materials, mannequins, and supporting effects. Everything is clean, tidy, and colorful. Safety and hygiene are a main priority as well. Ms Dorothy Jackson and Mr John Hayward are extraordinarily informative, using anecdotes to explain real-life scenarios and their teaching style is above par. This is my second time taking BLS class at Miami CPR and as long as I am in the Miami area I will not go anywhere else. I did the e-learning at my own pace and then the in person skills was excellent. My instructor Dorothy was very personable but more importantly incredibly knowledgeable. In addition they run an honest business there. I forgot to use a discount code that would have given me $10 off and they still honored my discount and refunded me the sum. Highly recommend Miami CPR. I attended the CPR AED class. The process from registering to completing the course and receiving my certification was a stress-free experience. I studied online and went to class for the assessment. The American Heart Association material is available for 2 years to review whenever you like. The staff was knowledgeable, encouraging and friendly. The course material was presented in an understandable and easy to learn way. I needed PALS for job credentialing and it isn't offered in the Keys where i live; this was the closest option. These folks are pleasant, professional, sufficiently thorough, and run on time! The Cutler Bay location was pretty convenient, and it's nice not to have the traffic snares that one would have in, say, downtown Miami. The cost was reasonable and sign-up was easy. Wonderful instructors very helpful and hands on! demos are always done so we can not only hear and see but also practice ourselves. The instructors make sure you understand what you are learning and do not give up on you they encourage you and motivate you and push you to do better! It was my first time coming here to renew my BLS certification and I must say, that everyone should come to The Nursing Station! It was a great experience. First time I take a class here and it was a lot of fun I have to say. I did not feel the time whatsoever! Erwyn is a fun instructor and got down to the point and also shared personal stories about his job which helped make it realistic for us when we go out into the field and what to expect when we apply a certain technique. It was a great experience. The instructors where great, and very helpful in assisting me in renewing ACLS/BLS. The class size was not very big but it was a positive experience and we definitely went over several scenarios, as well as focusing on key points of learning as well as updated changes for 2020-2021 in regards to American Heart Association guidelines. Really good BLS that they offer. Majority of the learning is online which is great because it can be done at home, and you go in for the hand one training which is literally less than an hour. They walk you through everything step by step to make sure you're on the right track and you get your card right after completion of the course. The staff members are unprofessional, I recall one staff memeber in particular to seemed very annoyed by me asking a question! Do not attend very ghetto!! Their location is in the ghetto as well! I took my BLS class back in July of this year with Steve Jackson and now went back for my ACLS certification with Dorothy Jackson and I am very glad I did. Miami CPR has a wonderful program that you can do your book work online and you only have to go into their establishment to take the practical test. This saves time and cost is very reasonable. Very friendly staff ! Class started on time and we got straight to the point. We reviewed all the skills. The instructor corrected small bits of info that were wrong online. They recommended to refer 4 people and you get a free class. One of the people in there got $200 class for FREE! That's a great incentive!
