He even translated the material in Spanish for the Spanish-speaking students. As for the school itself, the Director lady was very rude to two of my classmates when they went to pay for the course. They also don't help with job placement, they just tell you to apply on the company's website. Also the bathrooms are ALWAYS disgusting, no toilet paper, pee on the toilet and no soap. One time there was feces clogged in the toilet and no one bothered to fix it. Other than this, the course went well all thanks to our professor which is the only reason why I would recommend this school.

They have not been able to get their act together yet taken $13,999 from me and One week after I sent them wire for that amount they deactivated my NSU email and shark link account and withdrew me from all of my classes for fall 2025. I had applied to six other universities and not pursued those even though they would've been closer to my home because I thought NOVA would be the best as they promoted themselves and told me everything will be fine. Everything will be fine. Well, it's not fine and now at the final hour before I'm supposed to begin they have made my life a complete and utter hell and stress. As far as the office that's where my problem is. Paramedics program is split into 2 terms academically. If you don't make it past midterms, you have to start with a new class which is fair. As far as financially the school splits there terms into 3. So if you start term 2 and don't complete it, you owe the school for all of the term 2. So I am a veteran and my benefits pay for what I attended. The school is now saying I owe them which in my opinion the school is stealing from veterans. There's my problem the school never explained that in full detail. That's why I wouldn't recommend the school to veterans.

There courses are also in Spanish and they offer a lot of certifications to advance in your career or to get a new one. Foreign Languages such as French German, Italian, Portuguese, Spanish and also healthcare careers for healthcare providers and much more like dance, ecology, fine arts, fashion, and technology . The Kendall campus is clean and it's the only campus that offers (in person) Italian courses. The facility is always kept clean but the accessibility (Elevator) is not the best. The elevators don't seemed to work at all times. Plenty of parking available in the campus.

They don't communicate changes in policy i.e. when you enroll for a class and your funding doesn't come through, they no longer automatically drop you from the class so they expect you to pay for that class, even if you didn't take it. Apparently they no longer automatically drop you for non-payment. It's an unethical practice. Students should be notified of this policy change. The only bright side of this school has been the Access program. They've always answered calls and provided help.

MILITARY VETERANS AND OTHERS STAY CLEAR!…read more I had a terrible experience with this massage school, and I feel compelled to warn others. First off, they never explained that housing benefits would cease during the clinical portion of the program. As a veteran, getting housing allowance while going to school is an amazing benefit and one that we don't want to miss out on. This isn't a problem at other schools like MDC. This critical information was omitted, leading me to drop out. I had one class left before finding this out. To add insult to injury, they charged me $200 for leaving the program and even made me pay for my transcripts. The main teacher, Mrs. Kim, made the entire experience unbearable. She was unprofessional, borderline psycho, and made the program so miserable that I no longer wanted to continue. She even went as far as holding me after class in an attempt to break me as a person. Her behavior was incredibly weird, and the only relief came when she finally left. Her brother was a way better teacher. He didn't seem to use the class as much as an ego stroke or soapbox like it was for his sister Kim. The program itself is a joke. The tests are poorly written, and the professors seem more interested in passing students through than actually teaching the material. There's no syllabus provided, making it nearly impossible to prepare for exams or understand what content to focus on. This place is a mess, and it's telling that they don't allow Google reviews--probably because they know how bad the feedback would be. Instead, you're forced to leave reviews on Yelp, where it's harder for the truth to come out. All in all, I do not recommend this program at all. Save your time, money, and sanity by looking elsewhere.
