Leslie is amazing!I've had a great experience on this weekend.Leslie is very knowledgeable and thorough! She answered and explained any questions I've asked. Also super kind person, she does her work with love and you can see the compassion she has for motorcycles.I've learned a lot from her and she made it really fun!I've had an amazing experience this weekend thanks to her and the awesome teammates! If one day Treasure Coast will have advanced training with her I will sign up in the first place!Thank you MTII for making everything quick and smooth! read more

The trainers were very patient with me . I was the oldest and the only woman in the group.

this is not mainly a class, it's a test. it's ridiculous they charge $400 for it with no refund and then also charge $50 each time they cancel you out. gives them an incentive to cancel you out, too. instructors were way too strict, unfriendly, and lied about the cancel out fee. read more

I can't say enough good things about MTII! It is truly an awesome place with amazing people. From the moment I arrived, the instructors made me feel welcome and at ease. They are incredibly patient and clearly passionate about rider safety. Also, having comfortable couches in the classroom area made the theory portions so much more relaxing--it felt more like a community hangout than a stiff classroom. If you're looking to get your endorsement, this is the place to do it! read more

DO NOT GO HERE ! They don't care about teaching , they care only about money . God forbid you accidentally don't have the right shoes on or can't make the appointment. Every reschedule will cost you : who cares that you're already paying 400 dollars for the classes . As long as they get paid. They don't even try to understand the customers . When I called to try to fix the situation, they tried insulting me telling me I'm the only one who didn't wear the right shoes basically trying to justify the fact that I have to pay again for a class that I already paid for . As if they don't have classes weekly already being made , they can't just reschedule without charging . Ofc not . They don't care . ONCE AGAIN . DO NOT GO HERE read more

Overall it was fun. Went to the Fort Lauderdale location. Orlando and Summer were real pros and very patient. I was totally new as were the others, 8 total in class. Bikes were Suzuki 250 and Groms. I picked Suzuki. It was mostly field work in the lot then some class work. My only gripe and not instructors fault was i wished the lot was bigger so we can go a little faster to see how it feels like. We were limited in our speed to very slow in that little lot. After u get the hang of it, u wanna go a little faster but u can't. I would recommend it. It was so much fun and i can't wait to get my license. Good luck and be safe. read more

Excellent bike school and course. Mari and Orlando were very professional, informative, and went beyond just going through the curriculum and course plan, to make sure all our questions are answered. They put a lot of emphasis on safety and the realities of riding motorcycles, and were very approachable, fun, and gave us all individual and personal attention. It was an awesome experience! Very recommended. read more

Bucket List. I've wanted to ride my own bike my whole life. My family has fought me all the way. Now that I'm nearing a particular age and married to a biker it was finally my turn! Quite a few organizations to chose from out there. I did chose this one because it was close to home and they were running a special on the class. I chose to book ASAP so I wouldn't back out hahhaa!! I'm SO glad I chose MTII. The classes are small and well organized so there is plenty of one on one attention. Extremely knowledgeable and posing questions and situations I would have never thought of, the classroom was a warm and informative experience. Riding the range, they prepared riders that had never even been on a motorcycle so that when they moved forward on a motorcycle for the first time there was less fear. I felt safe and challenged! Ryan was a fantastic instructor and all the range lessons were demonstrated by Daniel who was very very slow and precise in showing you how it should look. The bikes were good. Mine was a little temperamental getting into neutral but after awhile I understood what I had to do to get it where I wanted it. Yes, I am a grandmother of 6 and I feel quite confident in continuing my riding experience after graduating my class! The conditions were a bit rough with some heavy and winds and a bit of sprinkles. What a wonderful experience and I will recommend anyone who wants to ride to go see them. I'm going to sign up for the advanced class now!!! read more

Got my license there. Sent my wife, my ma and my friends. All had great experiences with their coaches and came out successful having never ridden a motorcycle before. read more

This review is 5 stars for the business and 2 stars for one specific instructor - Kevork "Kiwi". Read further for more details. In general, this school has very professional and helpful staff. I've spoken to a few people over the phone who were very accommodating and helpful, Tammy in particular. I also took a private class with Scott who is an amazing instructor - very cool, laid back, helpful, and subtle. No complaints here. I also took the group 2 day course with Kevork "Kiwi" as the instructor. While he may be a good rider, he did not know the course (constantly read the instructions - like really read it - come on, do some preparations before the class!), he obviously favorited one particular student - an experienced rider who just needed to get the license - he made it clear to everyone. I was the only female in the group and I felt that he singled me out in every possible occasion- he even asked me to stay with him while everyone else went for a break so he could show me how to turn my head. This could have been expressed in words (even better). There were many other issues that I won't even get into. At the end of the course, we took a written test. My husband (who took the course with me) and I got one (and the same) answer wrong and we got different scores - guess who got the higher score by 4 points? My husband. It didn't affect me passing the written test so I didn't raise it to the instructor but I did raise it to the coordinator after the test. Overall, I felt that Kiwi is a sexist (my husband agrees on this) and I do not recommend taking a course with him. This business should do more careful vetting of their instructors or provide training for them. At the end of the day, I did get my license and I can recommend the school, and especially Scott as the instructor. read more

This school was awesome. As a newbie to motorcycles, the instructors taught in detail and great examples. The hands on course was not only easy to follow and learn, but encouraging. Many things were learned and experienced for better safety and pleasure. Great personalities! Looking forward to buying my motorcycle this month. read more

Took the 2 day Basic Rider Course in order to comply with the law and be able to get my endorsement. The course was held at Sheridan Tech College West Campus. Orlando was our only instructor, for 8 of us. He had also just finished holding an AM class all by himself. That was the only thing that I think needs improvement. We wasted a lot of time from exercise demo and setting up between different skill courses because he had no help. I felt very sorry for him and it really showed towards the end of the 2nd day he was dragging a bit. Not far for him and certainly not for the students. read more

I took a course with Melissa for a ryker. At first I didn't think all that much of it, but once I started reading and then riding, it made all the difference. Not only did it make a difference in my riding of the ryker, but I have now become a defensive driver in always knowing my "escape route". Melissa, being a female and a mother, made a huge impact on me and my respect for safety on my bike and on the road in general. GREAT course!! read more

100% satisfied! Best coaches ever. Highly educated and well trained. Ryan and Daniele are the best. All the time I did any exercise I was provided with feedback and advice from coaches. read more

Beware of this business as they are in it for themselves, not their customers. My husband and I signed up for our course on Thursday for a Tues/Wed class the following week. We made arrangements with our work. The day before the course, the school called to say there were not enough students and we could either take the course in Ft. Lauderdale or attempt to arrange our schedules again to take it in Miami proper as we'd planned, MAYBE, the following week. They never mentioned such a possibility when we signed up, though it turns out we were the only students to have signed up for that particular class. They are insanely optimistic to think they'd have 6 more students sign up over a weekend. So we decided to suck it up and go to Ft. Lauderdale where the class started at 6:45am. Ugh. If that wasn't enough, the school's facilities are best described as a dump. There was loose barbed wire hanging from the perimeter fencing. We were outside in long pants, long sleeves, gloves, and helmets for over 6 hours on a day when the high was 95 degrees. While we took breaks and they provide water, there was FAR too much time spent waiting around in the blazing sun rather than in the shade. I had heat exhaustion by the end of our drive time on day one. The classroom has no windows. The bathroom had dead roaches on the floor. The teaching method is designed for the lowest common denominator. I could have read the book and passed the test in about 1 hour. But I'm a native english speaker with an advanced degree. Instead, with 4 non-native english speakers in our class, we spent about 8 total hours taking turns reading the book aloud to each other. I sincerely hope you can find an alternative to Motorcycle Training Institute. read more

If you have no experience riding a motorcycle don't attend this school. The instructors zoom through the material so fast. You will have a hard time passing the class. Believe all the reviews!! Go to the Harley Davidson Course!! Don't waste your money here. read more

NEW RIDERS BEWARE!!! MTII will steal your money. Paid for the 2 day class in Palm Beach. Showed up to class on time and did what was required of me. Had a young instructor who rushed through the range riding course and had no patience with a new rider. Instructor was more focused on the students who have motorcycle experience. On the morning of the second day of class, the instructor told me to reschedule the riding portion of the class because I needed more instruction and he didn't have the time. I was sent home and didn't get to complete the class. I was directed to contact the office to reschedule the riding portion of the class and told I would not have to repay anything or redo the written test. I contacted the office several times to reschedule the class, left numerous voicemails and no one called me back. On one occasion when I called, I spoke to a guy name Fred who was very rude to me when I told him what the instructor told me to do. Fred sarcastically asked if I knew how to ride a bicycle and then said he would call me back after he spoke to the instructor. He never called me back and did not return my calls. I was lied to about rescheduling the class. Instructors rush through the class and don't have time or patience with beginners. In the end they stole my money and no one has returned my calls. Would NEVER recommend them. read more

Took the basic rider course in West Palm, in order to get my endorsement. Instructors were there early, and class started promptly. Everything was as informative as I was expecting and I took a lot of knowledge away from my experience, resulting in more confidence than I had prior to this weekend. Ryan and Dan-O were phenomenal instructors, taking extra time out to help more novice riders. But still moving the class on promptly (considering we were battling heat and rain in full gear). We had a 10 minute break to re-hydrate once per hour. This course alone is worth it due to it satisfying you're requirement for any written or physical assessment at the DMV. Would HIGHLY recommend and friends or family to take the course. I can't wait until I can take the time to possibly take a more advanced course with them if they offer it. read more

As a beginner rider i went to MTII for my first class. I had the pleasure to meet coach Carlos. He is very knowledgeable, patient and what a nice guy! I recommend this place in a heart beat! I now feel confident to get my own bike and hit the road read more

I haven't ridden a motorcycle in over 40 years, but decided to get it on my license in case I decide to ride and/or buy a bike. Carlos, the "coach" for this course was very "chill" but obviously very competent and was able to convey both a sense of calm yet confidence in my ability to achieve the course goals. The facilities and equipment were more than adequate for the course (although I'm a very tall guy so would have loved to have a taller bike). Through the great tips provided by Carlos, I was able to pass both the practical and written portion of the course and now have achieved my goal. Oh, and BTW, they were very good about enforcing COVID requirements - masks, distancing, etc. That was a worry for me since I'm in a high risk group, but both Carlos and "Kiwi" (the assigned "demo rider") were all over it if someone forgot. read more

Ryan was awesome and made the motorcycle training interesting and enjoyable, I definitely recommend MTI

In it for themselves!!! Do not go there!!!I wouldn't even go as far as giving them a one thumbs up. This place wasted my time, I get there five min late because the directions suck, and the instructor informs me I missed to much class. Now this is the Fort Lauderdale location if u look them up on the map it brings u to a different place. I watched the student get on the bike the only thing I missed was signing my name in. I missed work to do this class you think some kind of Lee way would be given but like I sad their there to collect your money, now I'm trying to get a refund to find another class and they won't return my calls read more

Pros: There are a few decent instructors If you have experience and want to hone your skills, this class will do Cons: Bikes are not well maintained There is little patience for new riders Very limited selection of bikes Classes consistently end early and you are not given the full allotted time you pay for This is not a business I would consider professional nor is it one that wants to help people learn to ride. read more

Was at their Ft. Lauderdale location. The whole place is a dump... the instructors have no patience with first time learners who ask a lot of questions. They seem to really tune into the 20 something years olds who have ridden before. What a waste of time and money. Do yourself and favor and go elsewhere. A cleaner facility with quality bikes and instructors who have patience and experience in teaching first timers. read more

Good school to attend if you have motorcycle riding experience and if you need the endorsement. The instructors will Properly instruct you and guide you in order to pass the written test. Even though you are in a Spartan type of facility, they make up with bottle water and snacks. Overall nice and courteous staff. However, I would recommend taking private lessons or obtaining prior riding experience before attending basic riding course. The program is geared towards meeting the testing requirements for the state of Florida and is squeezed in 2 riding days of about 5 hours each. If you never sat in a motorcycle seat before, you will slow the class down and at some point will be asked to stop riding with others as they have the prior skill and experience to move at fast pace. You will be given a choice to come back another day, and for additional fee try again riding part. The reason for 3 stars is that while company claims that it's ok to be a novice, the instructors have no time to pay attention to individual needs of a true, novice and need to move on to meet the needs of majority experienced riders to meet state criteria. read more
