Basically my daughter registered for 6-hour driving lessons which included flexible weekday or weekend times, free pickups & drop-offs, and the actual DMV test (if the instructor determines the person is ready). Today I dropped her at the traffic school so she can do her driving test. She was a bit nervous, but I assured her that she got this. Metro Traffic School is located in the Lauderdale Marketplace among other businesses along Oakland Park Blvd. Though there are a lot of parking spaces, it tends to fill up quickly. The traffic school offers the following at various prices: * Online courses & exams for first time drivers * Driving lessons (2 - 12 hours) * DUI course * Florida permit online test * Traffic ticket course * Spanish courses In conclusion, my daughter did well and passed. My instructor was rude from the beginning, he mispronounced my name even with correction. I dont even think he stated his name to me. when I got in the car, I put my seatbelt on and checked my mirrors, he was not paying attention to me. The instructor told me i understood the rules of driving and cones represented people. I acknowledge it. I have driven my small car, I am not used to a bigger SUV. I hit the cone, he told me to stop and pull in. which is fine I messed up. instead of telling me what I have done wrong, he chose to belittle me by asking me what I have done wrong, in an unprofessional tone. I told him I am not used to the size of this car and he said "no". questionly I stated" I didn't pull out all the way " he said "yes, you need to pull the car out all the way, no matter the size. now get out of the car out you failed" also being really hash " you have killed someone". It should have been more of a teachable moment instead of just flat out being rude about it. I understand the dangers of the road but being rude about it after I spent $100 dollar for this test is inconsiderate. I will not be taking the test here again.
