Well i was nervous about my first behind the wheel lesson but my instructor made it enjoyable and educational. He explained everything patiently, gave practical tips, and encouraged me when I made mistakes. Scheduling was flexible, and the reminders made sure I never missed a session. Over the next few lessons, he introduced advanced maneuvers gradually, which helped me feel confident without pressure. He even provided tips for parallel parking, merging, and lane changes that I hadn't considered before. By the end I felt comfortable driving alone and actually looked forward to practicing. I really appreciate how personalized and patient the instruction was. This wasn't just about checking a box; it genuinely improved my driving skills. If anyone feels anxious about driving lessons, I'd highly recommend metro traffic school and their instructors. read more

Very rude staff especially the receptionist. Do not recommend to anyone. Please use another traffic school if possible

Personally, I had a great time with Instructor Soler. He had a great energy, was gracious when I made mistakes, and taught me a lot. The pace of learning was quick, which made me feel that my time was being used well. Overall, I would highly recommend Instructor Soler. read more

I paid for a service that was nearly $600 and I never got the service, and I did not get a refund.. I got scammed. :(

ABSOLUTELY WORTHLESS Signed up for this course in Spanish, but the videos are only available in English. You don't know this until you start the course but once you start the course they refuse to refund the fee. Called to get a refund and the person answering the phone is incredibly rude and hung up twice. I will now dispute with my credit card company. Absolutely rude. I would give them negative five stars if I could. read more

I will not recommend this driving school to anyone! They know how to collect the money from students but no training! They collected money from my daughter and almost one month now no training, no tutor, no calls to follow up on it. When you call they either put you on hold or say that the person in charge of driving department is not on seat! To get back your refund is another problem! Bad business! Why collect money a service that you can not provide? read more

it's a scam, you won't get proper preparation or time to drive. They fail you and keep collecting money even when it's time to report to the dmv. wait in line at dmv better than this scam read more

I would not recommend the driving school to anyone. Signed up with them because they claimed to have weekend driving lessons. They are short staffed and the instructor they stuck us with decided she did not want to work weekends. When we called the office, they said she should be working weekends. The office was no help in getting this resolved and when we attempted to schedule weekday lessons and had to cancel, they forfeited 2 out of our 5 lessons. Do NOT use this school. Tried to resolve for 2 weeks, and now they are hanging up when we call. So much for 'great customer service by email, phone or chat'. Pass this on to other parents just trying to get their kid some experience behind the wheel with a trained instructor. DO NOT USE METRO! read more

bad and non professional instructor. First visit tried to discourage my son.. very unprofessional team.

Hello Metro Traffic I was supposed to start the DUI-Level II Course yesterday at 6pm at your Oakland location (3726 West Oakland Park Blvd, Ft. Lauderdale 33311) and your instructor didn't let me in even though I knocked in the door numerous times. I arrived at the office at 6pm not a minute later and I can prove it. I noticed that I was supposed to arrive 15 minutes earlier but it was impossible. I live in Hollywood and I left a quarter to 5pm since I was working and it took me 1:15 minutes to get to this location since traffic was very heavy and I had to find a friend to drive me there. I just want you to understand that in my previous class with you you I had another very sour incident. Basically you made my pay the course twice. When I called to enroll in the DUI class I spoke to one one of your receptionists and she told me that I needed to take DUI level I and when I showed up for the class I was told that I was in the wrong class and that I needed to take level II So I had to re-enroll in Level II and pay the entire course again since I wasn't refunded for the payment of the DUI Level neither was I given any credit. This time I will not tolerate this and I will bring this matter to whoever I need to-DMV, Court-wherever but this is Unacceptable. I will go to the class today at 1:15pm to see if hopefully the instructor let me in today. If not, I will contact you...I called you yesterday a few times-1st time at 6:05 pm while I was outside the office knocking at the door ...I am calling Ray Graves today and I'll speak to him regarding this matter to see what can be done...In addition I am filing a formal complaint with the State of Florida Dept of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles as well since this is bad business practice to say the least. I'm very disappointed with you all... Honestly, I think I am at the hands of crooks at this point... read more

Awful customer service. No idea how to talk to people. Worse than speaking to the DMV, i didn't even know that was possible. By far this is the worst driving school in south Florida read more

If you wanna throw your money away just invest it into this service . The customer service reps are very disrespectful and unprofessional, and the supervisors as well. They lack documentation and will disregard your concerns. I ended up paying for a different driving school and got my license witching 2 weeks . read more

The worst school. The staff is rude. Unprofessional and the supervisor are worst. All need re training. No help they just take your money and no help. They need to fire all those people and hire people with better customer service skills. Do not pick this school. Your experience will be bad. read more

Horrible costumer service. They'll take money for driving lessons and then never provide them.

I was looking to enroll both my teenagers in driving lessons. The receptionist spat out that I should pay online ($579 for each package) and wait for them to call me to schedule the lessons. Um, what if they can't fit the lessons into the times my kids are available? She said "eventually it'll work out". What if they don't have English speaking instructors? Can I meet the instructor and pay for one lesson before paying for the full package? She laughed and said they don't do that. No, thanks, I've read the reviews. I'll keep my $579 x 2 and pay for lessons with a company that has better customer service and understands that paying in full without meeting anyone that'll be providing the lessons is ridiculous! read more

This place has the worst customer service!!!!! The following are facts, not a characterization or a sob story: 1. They provide wrong address (or an address that does not appear in GPS). 2. When called for directions, they describe wrong location. 3. A 15 minutes ride turned into a 1 hour hunt. When I arrived, half hour later than appointed time, the door was closed with a sing. 4. There were other 3 customers at the door in my same situation. 5. I called again to reschedule and the person hung up because I was telling her, very politely, that they were giving wrong info. 6. I kept calling to reschedule for about 20 mins. They didn't answer the phones. I hung up after being on hold for over 12 mins on 2 distinct lines (I called from 2 different lines). 7. I am not a forced customer, my license and record are in great standing. I was just trying to help my mom get her drivers learning permit. Use this service at your own (high) risk. read more

Your facts are incorrect, your manager Annie spoke with me on Tuesday, I called Wednesday she forgot that we spoke. When I called the other manager was told she was on personal errand called back numerous times!as I had to chase her down. Lastly bob the manger had to call him 3x before I got him on the phone. He called me the wrong name after a 20 minute conversation then text me the wrong price. Lastly bob canceled our last 2 hours in error then staff wanted to charge me more money. The internal staff is completely incompetent including Bob . Any potential customers happy to share the email thread directly from Bob. Mr Parker the instructor was super guy. If I could rate it 0 stars I would. They signed me into the wrong class. Midway through the class they told me I was in the wrong class and are not going to give me credit for the right class. This place is stealing money from people who are just trying to carry on with their lives. The class you take their is also a joke. They get a probation officer who gives u a piece of paper with elementary questions on it and have you sit there looking at the paper for an hour and a half every week. Gilbert L answer is laughable. First while I was arrested for DUI, it was reduced to reckless driving with adjudication withheld. So no criminal record and I have my license. My only crime was going to that fake school that is supposedly non profit but the owner is living large. Anyway I dare them to provide anyone with video about my conduct. The girl at the front desk is named Veronica Sanchez and was very nice. I didn't illegally record phone conversations. Nor did I state anything but the truth. Yet Gilbert "the liar" L*** tries to paint me as a menace. Funny what other agencies could he be speaking about??? He tried to smooth talk me into removing the review and that didn't work. I have never ever seen such a scam of a business. He tried to play all friendly; he's a Puerto Rican guy from New Jersey. How do I know this? Because he opened up to me while he tried to sweet talk me into removing the review. He even tried the " this company is how I feed my family". Sorry not my problem. Maybe try honesty. Read the other reviews. What is he going to say, we are all troubled? The only trouble is this company having a license to conduct these interviews. Further he broke the law by illegally recording me. I dare him to release that phone call. Every thing I am saying is true. All things in darkness come to light. I'm not going to stoop to his level and make ad hominem attacks, but honestly he's not too bright. Update 2/25/2019: The school just now commented again almost 2 years later (boy truth hurts). Maria L stated I was upset for being referred to a substance abuse program. She obviously didn't read my review. I was upset as I was forced to give made up answers to questions. Maria L needs to review the state requirements for conducting these types of screenings and not waste time stating frivolous things on Yelp. read more

My class tonight with Gina Green was really amazing. She's helped me so much with understanding and clarity with driving. This was my first time ever taking a driving course, and she made sure it interactive, fun, & not just a boring course. The Metro Traffic School was very professional. I was in a tough situation and it worked out good for me.

Absolutely wonderful. My driving instructor, Angelita, was patient, respectful and genuinely funny. I had four 2-hour classes with her and she came to my home, I didn't have to go anywhere, which was great, on top of the school providing a car for you to practice what you for license examination; or if you just want to be a better driver, like myself, then Angelita along with the Metro Traffic School would be able to provide. Considering to take courses again! read more

Metro provided my son with first time driving lessons and The Drug and Alcohol course. The staff was efficient and professional. I had limited expectations based on the reviews here on yelp, but to my pleasant surprise the experience was great! I will say I was not looking forward to my teen getting on a car without a family member, but in the end it was the best scenario for all of us. I typically do not recommend or share because I do NOT want to. E responsible for someones disenchantment however I did share Metro's info with a fellow mom. read more

very rude, the lady hung up on me when i was asking about the website, i dont recommend to anyone

Hi, I picked metro traffic school to do my DUI school. I have a court order to do DUI school one in writing. And the lady at the front desk signed me up. I did the course and went to do my evaluation. When going to sign up for the evaluation they told me I had to do the DUI school 2 and they would not give me my certificate. I told them and showed them what the judge put down in writing and they said it did not matter. Then I asked "why would the lady at the front desk sign me up for that course then?" The response I got was "she is new she should of known better". To compromise I said "can I take the $350 I paid and put it towards the $850 you want now ?" they said no. So they refused what the judge said, openly admitted the woman was new and made a mistake, and had so empathy to try and rectify the situation. I contacted my attorney who is battling with them to get this resolved and it's been months now. These people are scammers, rude , and have no empathy. Go anywhere except metro traffic school. read more

My daughter is a new driver, and up until her behind the wheel lessons with Amy, she was absolutely petrified about getting in the driver's seat. I cannot say enough good things about the experience of learning how to drive with Amy. Don't look further, she is the best. read more
