I grew up coming to Boomers with my dad and my sister. After my dad recently passed away, bringing…read moremy own kids here for the very first time was a deeply special trip for our family--and the experience couldn't have been better. A huge shoutout to Deon, who provided the best customer service we've experienced anywhere in a long time. Our kids had an absolute blast, and Deon was fantastic with them. He was super helpful, patient, and attentive while getting them set up and safely having fun on the go-karts and bumper boats. Stepping back onto the track brought back so many cherished childhood memories of my dad, and Deon helped ensure my kids walked away with those exact same happy memories today. Thank you, Deon, for making a meaningful day so incredible for our family. We will definitely be back!

I used to come here 20+ years ago when it was Palace Park, and I swear the mini golf course hasn't…read morechanged since then...except it's aged about as well as a forgotten carpet. The turf is ripped, full of holes, and in rough shape on pretty much every hole. We honestly considered turning around and asking for a refund, but our kids were so excited to play that we stuck it out rather than crush their little mini-golf dreams. The staff was genuinely friendly, so no complaints there--they were the best part of the experience. I can't speak for the other attractions, but if you're coming for mini golf, I'd recommend spending the extra few bucks and heading to Holy Moly at the Spectrum instead. At least there, the biggest obstacle is the course--not whether the carpet will survive another round.

I was quoted $160/hour by Jack Pinkerton for baseball lessons, which is DOUBLE local rates, which…read moreare already extremely high. When I decided not to move forward, the response I received was completely unprofessional and unacceptable. Instead of a respectful interaction, I was met with hostility I have not experienced before being told to "go f _ _ _ myself", that I was a "worthless pile of s _ _ _", and a myriad of other derogatory profanity-laced expletives. That alone raised serious concerns for me, especially considering this is someone working with kids. After looking further, I also noticed limited availability with scheduling and a relatively thin background compared to other coaches charging similar or even lower rates. There are many experienced instructors in the area with stronger credentials, better reputations, and far more professionalism. Parents should be very cautious here. Between the high pricing, limited accessibility, and the way a simple interaction was handled, this did not give me confidence that this is the right environment for young athletes. For transparency, I do have a recording of the call documenting the interaction if anyone is interested.

He instead observes and takes time to understand his students first and then molds his lessons appropriately. He instinctively knows the ins and outs of baseball and we've seen significant progress to our sons baseball abilities. The training/lesson is located in a relatively small unit but we actually prefer it because it creates a very personal one on one experience. Coach Jack will work with you on scheduling for the lessons. We honestly don't know if Coach Jack's rates are competitive compared other baseball coaches but for the lesson your child receives in the amount of time, we think it's great value!

I'm the only one here. I only work here two days a week. This is an issue for City Council. There are multiple kids' camps happening right now" is unacceptable. If there are multiple kids camps happening, it's even more imperative that a bunch of unknown dogs aren't running around on the same fields, isn't it? This is an issue I have called the Sports Park about multiple times. Why isn't it being addressed? There is a large off-leash dog park nearby in Lake Forest. It is negligent for the management of the Sports Park to leave this unattended, when residents have reported it multiple times. Are you waiting for a child to get mauled before there is a protocol or enforcement? Also, I'm not saying that the person at the front desk is the one who is responsible for this; clearly his hands were tied with multiple responsibilities and this really is a management and security issue. But if that is how he is going to respond to a Lake Forest resident (who should have equal opportunity to safely use this park) who voices a safety concern, please ensure he receives some training. Also, please make sure those leading your group classes don't take photos of class participants and post them online without their permission. This is also really unprofessional.

The mini golf was a lot of fun, and the package deals are definitely the way to go if you want to do the most activities while saving money. It's a great spot for all ages, with plenty to enjoy. You get around 6 minutes of play time per attraction. To access attractions, you press a service button to call over an employee. It was not crowded on a Monday afternoon and there was plenty of free parking. + We started off our day with bumper boats to cool off in the summer heat. Each boat had built in water shooters. We were spraying each other and everyone got soaked. + We went on race cars to dry ourselves off. The cars were surprisingly fast. - For race cars, there was no working service button. Instead, there was a picture of a button taped to the wall which was a bit confusing. We ended up finding a staff member who let us in. It would be helpful to have a note with instructions on what to do. + The laser tag arena was bigger than expected with plenty of walls and obstacles to hide behind. There were even a couple of jump scare surprises lurking in corners. + Mini golf was fun with different colored golf balls and decorated courses. + Plenty of arcade games for all ages. - Some games were broken or out of service. + Clean bathrooms. + They sell Dole Whip here.
