I love that this playground has separate playgrounds for infants, toddlers, and older kids with several fun spinning equipment in the middle which was fun for us older "kids". There's also a sand pit, some picnic benches, and huge grassy area w some recreational courts. Just note that only the playground is shaded so it may be pretty warm on a hot sunny day. This is located next to a library, school, and Adventure Playground which is an awesome free play area though probably more fun for kids older than 2 years old. We enjoyed walking the paved paths through the neighborhood to get to the shopping center nearby to get some boba from Class 302 and for food. There's also another playground along the paths.

cute little grassy play area. Gave it a 4 because the flooring is beat up. Other than that, great area to entertain the kids, pets and family. Also, it's right across Adventure Playground.

2 thumbs up for this park! This is a fantastic park for toddlers. I happened to come here because the Adventure Playground next door was closed. The park has everything your toddler needs to occupy themselves for an hour! Play area for little ones and big ones, swings, sand area with a plastic mountain to be climbed, lots of monkey bars and climbing structures, a plastic house and shaded area with benches for mummys/caregivers. The floor is soft foam. The park is clean, green and beautiful.

Information

Public park. Very big and clean. There are a lot of different areas to explore. Some courts and fields to play. The playground is big and safe. The green areas is also very nice.

This is hands down one of my favorite parks in the city of Irvine. It has the perfect combination of activities to keep children entertained, and also me, a 20 year old male. I came here with my friend Tiffany to help review this park at night so that the community could know more about the nighttime park experience. As we first set foot in the park, the park lights gave us a warm welcome by suddenly turning off and covering the entire playground in darkness. Turns out that this park "closes" at 10PM, but you can still manage to walk into the park even later than that. My favorite part of the park was the spinning structures. This was something that I have never seen in any park before. You jump onto these structures and spin around with your momentum. I was pretty dizzy afterwards if you know what I mean! There are also vending machines at the basketball courts so make sure to keep some spare change on you! All things considered, this is one of my favorite playgrounds to play on at night.

This is a great park. It's right next to adventure playground and the library. It has tons of stuff - tennis courts/concrete wall to hit balls on (squash/smashball?), volleyball, big grassy area, kids play structures. The kids play area has two bits - one for littles, one for bigs. It has infant swings and regular. There is a cool (plastic) rock for climbing. There are tables under a shade for parents to keep an eye on the kids. The play area itself doesn't have much shade. Dog and pushchair friendly as it has concrete path round the park.

Hands down one of the cleanest, most convenient parks in the Irvine area!…read more There are several baseball fields, tons of gated tennis courts, playgrounds for the kids, countless picnic areas that are numbered for parties and gatherings. I think what makes this park stand out is the crowd. Any park can be beautiful but, without the proper maintenance from the park crew (and most importantly the park goers) it doesn't stand a chance. You see tons of regulars here with their dogs, families, kids. Everyone is friendly and respectful of one another. The dog crowd at this park is also one of the best I've seen. Although the park is not off leash, there's wide open areas for you to allow your fur family to play catch, run around, and have a bit of freedom! They do have a couple of posts that have doggie bags however, they run out quick so please do come prepared with your own poop bags just in case! There are plenty of water fountains throughout with water filling stations attached, so don't forget a bowl for your fur family!!

There is also a large playground at the park where you can bring your kids. A lot of people start here to go cycling down the Santa Ana River Trail. This is a great place to bring your dog as well. Bill Barber is located in the same lot as the Irvine City Hall and Police Department.
