What a beautiful small park! I googled small parks nearby and Citrus Ranch in Tustin appeared in the search results. It's not a huge park but it has the basics like picnic shelters, picnic tables, Bbq grills, a gazebo, a big grassy area, a walking track, restrooms and a playground. The highlight of this park is that it has an orchard filled with citrus trees. The orchard is privately owned so you can't pick the fruit; however, you can definitely use the trees for a photo op. Apparently from the gazebo, you can see Catalina Island in one direction and Mt. Baldy in the other. See my photos. I love this park! I will be back.

This park is clean, big, quiet, 8 Picnic pod with bbq, lemon tree orchard made the whole park smell so good, walking trail and bike trail are on the side, free parking, 2 playground and 1 outdoor exercise gym. I parked my car in the parking lot and followed the walking trial walked less than one mile to Peter canyon trail head and started my hiking in Peter cayon.

    So many citrus trees

Such a cute park with a little hiking trail (filled with citrus trees) and a cute lemon themed playground. The hike is pretty short but feels good to walk among all those trees. You aren't supposed to pick the fruit fyi. Large parking lot.

This was a great little park. We came to try out their play area. Be sure when you enter to turn left for the playground. There are 2 play areas. One for small, young children and another for older kids. Both areas have sand and soft floor mats. There is a fun bridge for kids too. Good cement pathways for walkers, strollers, etc. this is close to the Tustin entrance to Peter's Canyon. They have a covered area with tables for parties too.

My husband works across the street and came home to let us know he found a park that is good for our grandson. So we went to visit Citrus Park this morning & it was not crowded at all. There is 2 different playgrounds which I thought was really cool. One for the littles one & bigger kids. The weather was perfect for the little nature walk of many trees of and figs. My grandson had so much fun. This is definitely a good area to bbq and let the little ones play.

I never knew the C.O.T. had such a nice park. There's a nice grass area, two play areas, picnic areas with BBQS.a trail going through the citrus groves and a large parking lot. At the top of the trail there's a rest area where you can get some great pictures. I don't know if it's a weekly thing but it looked like they were going to have a Yoga class. The restroom was also clean. When I'm on my walks this will definitely be a pit stop for me.

Nice Colorful playground in Tustin with separate playground areas for the big kids & little kids. Also, has a fully-covered picnic shelter with 4 tables. Plenty of parking & public bathrooms too. Plus, there is a nice short trail through the lemon groves & pretty views at the top too.

Best themed kids playground next to the OC Great Park's little boulder area! My nephew loves this park! I'm feeling list-ish again, so here's my Top 10 Reasons why I think Citrus Ranch is the Bees Knees: 1. Love the vibrant colors! Rich lemon yellows, mellow lime greens, eye-popping oranges. 2. Very unique monkey bars design. One goes in complete circle! 3. Unique bridge leading from the parking / picnic area, to the playground. 4. Little kids park adjacent to the bigger kids park. 5. Foamy pavement so kids don't get hurt if they fall. 6. Clean restrooms. 7. Nice well designed picnic area. 8. Awesome citrus grove surrounding the park. 9. Weather station w/ wind & barometer in a fenced off area, great teaching opportunity for the kiddo. 10. Far enough from the road to not hear traffic go by. If you're in the area, this is a great place to take your little ones of an afternoon of fun!

    Very clean cute playground!

*** Pitstop Review (Tustin) *** It's really amazing the different routes Waze or Google maps redirects me sometimes. When traveling through L.A. it will sometimes give me a shortcut right through the projects. While other times it will take me through the most beautiful part of town that I've never been to before. Today I just told Waze to take me home and there most have been something that jammed the entire freeway. So it redirected me to this side of Tustin. Given the chance to just stretch out my legs as I passed by this park I took the opportunity to stop to smell the roses :-) ha ha ha... This is a very nicely manicured clean park. Everything about this little park is sooo clean and it feels so safe and peaceful. Very awesome! Here's what liked... * Very clean and pretty little park. * Easy parking even on a regular end of day. * Well maintained small trails to walk or run. * Very clean covered eating area. * Very clean restroom. (needless to say it is totally graffiti free) Here's what I didn't like... * If anyone has a complaint with a place like this, they've been living too long with a silver spoon in their mouth :-)

Lots of sand so bring sand toys!

Ask the Community - Citrus Ranch Park

Could anyone confirm if restrooms are open now?

I was there last weekend and they are open.

Are dogs allowed on the trails?

I'm seeing that lemons can't be picked from trees; can the the ones that have fallen to the ground be taken?

I'm positive that you can't pick them from trees and I remember reading somewhere that you also can't pick up the ones that have fallen. However, when I was there, I saw some families pick straight from the trees. Hope this helps! :)

I think what makes this park stand out is the crowd. Any park can be beautiful but, without the proper maintenance from the park crew (and most importantly the park goers) it doesn't stand a chance. You see tons of regulars here with their dogs, families, kids. Everyone is friendly and respectful of one another. The dog crowd at this park is also one of the best I've seen. Although the park is not off leash, there's wide open areas for you to allow your fur family to play catch, run around, and have a bit of freedom! They do have a couple of posts that have doggie bags however, they run out quick so please do come prepared with your own poop bags just in case! There are plenty of water fountains throughout with water filling stations attached, so don't forget a bowl for your fur family!!

My toddler is advanced and can do playgrounds no problem but thing thing is literally for kids 7 and up. Even then it's so dangerous because there's way too many ways to fall off the play set. They do have a "toddler area" which is a small wood playhouse and wood/rope climbing area. And even that I wouldn't let my little one near because it's too easy for her to fall onto wood logs edge and get cut. Just very poor bad "modern" design. We only go cause it's walking distance and even then it's work because I'm constantly watching my daughter to make sure she doesn't fall off. Nothing enclosed at all. Truly dislike this playground for kids under 7. We've gone 7+ times and I never see kids climb to top of this playground or anything. Such a waste. Once you walk over the play area you can see that they have some really awesome and different play equipment. I liked that. There was some rubbish in various areas of the park. The older kids area is shaded, but unfortunately come 10am the little play area with the yellow and blue structure is right in the sun. There's also an area for very young kids and that was shaded.
