If you're looking for more distance, the bike trail that runs alongside the park is a huge bonus--it stretches for miles and is great for anyone who wants a longer, uninterrupted route. I regularly see a steady mix of runners, walkers, and cyclists using both the park paths and the trail, which makes the area feel active but never overcrowded. Besides being a great spot for exercise, the park is also surprisingly popular for photos. I often see families and groups here taking Sweet 16, quinceañera, and other special-occasion pictures. There are several really charming areas with greenery, trees, and open fields that make for beautiful backdrops. Overall, it's a versatile park--peaceful enough for a casual stroll, spacious enough for a long workout, and scenic enough for a photoshoot. Highly recommend spending some time here.

People were straight parking on the curbs, blocking lanes etc. Horrible parking situation. Bathrooms- This is a GIANT park, yet they had ONE bathroom. And that bathroom (Men's at least) was created with 2 stalls, no urinal, one sink. Went in to take a piss, and in the handicap stall, there was literal human shit all over the fucking floor, and it was wet as hell from piss and who the hell knows what else. How do you create ONE bathroom for a park this size, and how do you not include a urinal? It was NASTY as hell and the city should be ashamed of what was in there on Friday night. Disgusting! As far as the fields, pretty nice and well maintained. Still 1 star for that bathroom and parking situation.

Outside, there are cool zip-line style swings, play areas for both younger and older kids, and plenty of shaded spots. Major bonus points for no woodchips -- huge win. The library also has fun music exploration activities, which was a pleasant surprise. Plus, there are easy food options nearby, so you don't have to overthink meals. Parking was easy for me, though I can see it getting tricky during busier times.
