I dont usually get my nails done. I've always wanted to be one of those girls with pretty long nails but I'm very hard on them so they're always short and ugly. For special occasions I get a set but usually have at least one or two pulled off before I can even get a fill. I went here to get a set for a big trip I was going on and surprisingly the whole set as well as the paint on them lasted for three weeks until I got back to town. They looked so pretty I decided to get them filled again. I saw a picture in an advertisement for fall designed nails with a little fox face and leaves and fell in love with it. I took a picture of it and carried it around on my phone for two years now, thinking some day the stars would align and I would get them done like the picture. This was the year! I showed the picture to Kimberly and asked if she could do it, she said she could and SHE DID!! I think they look adorable, even though they're much shorter than the picture I have (I can't function with them long). Plus they were about $30 less than I imagined I would be spending considering how detailed they were and how many colors were involved. read more

What do you do when your manicurist, who has been doing your nails for the last 2 1/2 years, leaves? You turn to Yelp! Well, fellow Yelpers, you have come through for me once again. I was in DESPERATE need of a fill and Oracle Nails got very high marks from other yelpers and it was close to where I was at the time, so I gave them a shot. They definitely lived up to my expectations. It was late in the day and I was sure that they would either tell me they were full or wouldn't have time to do it that day (I actually expected to have to make an appointment for the next day) but, no, they sat me right down and got to work. I am fairly picky about my nails (the shape, the thickness of the acrylic, the level of service) and I have had some recently bad service at other nail salons. Lucky for me, I don't have to go anywhere else now that I have found Oracle Nails. Oracle Nails delivered everything I expect from a nail salon. My nail technician took the time to find out exactly how I wanted my nails and gave me just that. Other customers in the salon (obviously regulars) told me that everyone there was just wonderful and did a greatjob. I don't think I will be going to another nail salon again. And, even though Oracle Nails is kind of out of my way, I will consider it worth the drive to go there when I need my nails done again. FYI: You can't put the tip on your credit card, so bring cash with you for that (or plan on running next door to CVS to get some when you're done). read more

So, it's my day off with my husband. A beautiful day. Nothing much to do. Pedicures! I got him addicted last year. WoohoO! I called Oracle Nails because they're close by to see if they could get us in within the hour and they said yes! Double Woohoo!! Walked in and were greeted right away. The shop was super busy but they had our spa chairs ready to go. Chairs are super comfy...great massaging action of course. My husband, who's a big guy at 6'2" had a tough time with his long legs, but it worked out fine. He also has a problem with ingrown nails that they were super awesome about and helped him out with that as well. Awesome! Pedicure, callous scrub, refreshing sea salt leg scrub, massage, cuticles and pretty purple toes for me! He opted for au natural. The people were very sweet. My husband and I were vacationing in Tucson and I talked him into a mani-pedi one evening. We called late in the day and they were happy to have us come in at 5pm. Their pricing was really great and we had the works. The ladies really made hubby feel comfortable and he was very pleased with the massage. I thought they did a great job on him, considering he doesn't often professional manicures or pedicures. The man who worked on me was very professional and friendly, and I received an excellent pedicure. Loved the food-scented products too! I have only two complaints: 1) the hot towels used to remove creams from our arms and legs were tattered, holy and gray. They looked worse than my car wash towels and I almost asked them not to put them on my body, and 2) my manicure felt rushed and my cuticles weren't properly taken care of. However, the polish lasted an entire WEEK! When does that happen? Overall, we loved this experience and would definitely go back the next time we're in town! read more

I've been to a few different nail salons in Tucson, but now I've found my place. It's clean and the staff goes above and beyond. I walked in last night a 7:10, 10 minutes after they had closed. I guess they could tell by the way I looked, that I just needed a pampering moment. They set me in a chair and helped me relax after a long, tiring day. I've had a few pedicures from Missy and can honestly say that they have lasted longer than any other I've had. Missy also noticed that the manicure I had gotten earlier that day (at a different salon, big mistake) looked horrible so she re-painted my nails. I'm really happy with my nails, it's exactly what I was looking for. Ken is great and so quick and really knows his stuff. The only negative thing is it took two and a half hours for my nails, which I've never experienced in my life. Ken had to switch to another customer as he had an appointment with her and I was a walk in so another girl took over and she was painfully slow. The first time I came a younger male did a WONDERFUL job at applying an acrylic fill and painting them a pretty shellac pink color! I also got a pedicure that day, which wasn't applied all the way back to the cuticle (making it look a month old :/) and was a completely different color because the matching shellac/polish got mixed up. BUT THE SECOND TIME I came in.... My acrylic were carelessly filled and shaped by the older male working there. He cut me with the drill and filed the spot where it was bleeding pretty repetitively. was in the area where a friend lives and we decided to get mani/pedis. oracle nails is right around the corner from her place. we walked in and there was no wait. we got our pedis first. the usual place i go to doesn't put shellac on toes, but these people do! i got "big apple red" shellac on my fingers and toes. i'm hoping it'll last the usual two weeks. they were all very nice and proficient. the place could use a face lift, though. it felt kind of tired. also, they should have had the air conditioning on cooler (especially when it's over 100 degrees outside). would go back if in that area! read more

Got a basic pedicure with gel French. Menu stated a basic pedi was $25. Basic included: soak, cuticle removal, clip and file, massage. Did not include pumice stone or microplane. When I went to pay it was $45. Most salons are maybe $35. Over priced for what I got. Staff was nice. Seemed clean but most show you the tools they use come out of the package. They did not. I really am shocked that this place has so many great reviews. I wish I would have trusted my gut when I walked inside this shack... I should have turned right around. It is dirty and smells musty. I wonder when they had their last inspection by the cosmo board... Anyways, the nail tech filed my nails in a horrible shape, despite me trying to tell her otherwise. They are also all different lengths. She cut one of my fingers pretty badly too. I had three techs work on my manicure because they were so short staffed...
