Victor is very patient, cooperative and kind. I'm kind of a lot, and he did a great job of putting up with me. We experienced a number of setbacks and delays because I insisted on very specific materials for certain things, and he was right there with me the whole way, even when we ended up special-ordering shingles from halfway across the country. Victor's team are all highly skilled and take pride in their work. They demolished the old porch, removed all debris, and built us a brand new one. They fixed the siding the old one had messed up. They replaced the gutters with new ones. They patched up the newly-exposed part of the chimney. Every last detail. I also didn't have to hassle Victor to get a permit; he just did it. Which is such a baseline expectation it shouldn't make him stand out amongst his competition. Sadly, it very much does. Whenever you take on a home remodeling project like this, you have a picture in your mind of what you want. For this project, we had really specific ideas, a mix of old and new, materials and techniques. Which is normal. And it never turns out that way. Not once in all the renovation and rebuilding projects I've done over the years. Reality just doesn't live up to imagination. So I don't know how to put this in terms that will communicate how rare and remarkable it is. Our porch is exactly right. It is exactly what we wanted, and looks exactly how we imagined it. I don't think there's any possible stronger recommendation I can give than that. We couldn't be happier. And I am pretty sure that in another 125 years, whoever is living in this house is going to say, "Well, the place is showing some real wear, but at least the front porch is still in great shape."

He was dependable, with a cheerful disposition, excellent workmanship and attention to detail. He fixed a ceiling design problem that the architect overlooked and worked with me and the city to redesign it at his own expense. He went above and beyond my expectations, for example installing a linear (curbless) shower with excellent tile work. Everything from the windows, walls and doors, etc. were installed square and solidly. He also built a custom bench in the mudroom which has received many complements for its unique, beautiful and ergonomically comfortable design. I am a very fussy and detail oriented homeowner--hard to please. I fired two previous contractors for sloppy work. But, in my experience, Vando and EENN Construction demonstrate professionalism of the highest caliber, and I would recommend them wholeheartedly for both small and large construction jobs.

He cancelled on me more than one time after we had taken time off from work to meet with him, and his help was bafflingly rude when they told me after the last cancellation that they didn't want our business. Saying "oh boo hoo other contractors would have been worse!" Is no excuse for the awful treatment we received.

The entire project team was great to work with, very responsive and highly organized. We really liked the project management app and 3D design software they used. Before bringing in the Core team my husband and I struggled with making decisions around the final design. However once we brought in Corey's team, they helped with determining the design elements and provided great guidance & suggestions that made the decision process much easier. The Core team was very flexible and happy to work with the company installing our AV system so all the design planning and scheduling was aligned. I believe within an hour of requesting an estimate we had scheduled a time to go over the project. I received several quotes over the past year, and so many times I felt as though contractors who have been in business for long periods of time throw an absurd price and I'm sure some uneducated homeowners fall for it. From the get go, Sam gave me the most realistic price, and was quick to schedule a start date. Prior to their work, Sam even met me and helped me pick up my shower doors. I honestly don't think a lot of GC's would do this, Nevermind do it on their own. Sam's workers are professional, answered any questions I had and were always in a positive mood showing that they really enjoy their job and want to put forth the best product possible. They replaced the old tile floor and fiberglass shower stall with a spacious and beautiful walk-in shower. The moved electrical outlets and switches, installed all new fixtures, a new ceiling fan, and made sure that everything was up to code (when it hadn't been before work began). Communication was excellent and the team provided sound guidance in making design decisions, which was much appreciated.
