I actually look forward to going to the dentist now!! Ok, that may be slightly overstating things, but only slightly!!!!

Let me start by the incredibly nice , modern and clean lobby. The front desk was professional and friendly. The technology they have is so modern and its refreshing to know and feel that you are in good hands. Prior to my initial consultation with Dr. Koos I had very high anxiety due to several previous bad experiences with other dentist. I recently had 4 teeth extracted by Dr. Koos. After speaking with Dr. Koos he made me feel comfortable in knowing that I was in good hands. I immediately scheduled my appointment and sure enough a week later I went in for my dental surgery. The anesthesia staff were great! As soon as I walked the operating room I was asked which music I like so they can play during my procedure (How great is that!) Dr. Koos walked in and went over step-by-step the entire procedure including recovery. They then started the "laughing gas" followed by the iv anesthesia which I did not feel anything (talk about pretty wonderful,Huh) Later that night while recovering at home I received a personal call from Dr. Koos checking on me, just like he said he would (Who does that anymore?!...AMAZING!!) Dr. Koos and his amazing staff went over and beyond to make me feel great & relaxed. I highly recommend him! I cannot speak highly enough about this amazing little gem!! I will def go back!!! Thank you Ora dental and Dr. Koos!! read more

Dr. Koos and his staff are still awesome!!! Got last two wisdom teeth pulled yesterday, yes I said yesterday and I feel awesome! I am officially wisdom teeth free!!! Thanks Dr. Koos for the follow up as well :) read more

I have been going to the ORA Dental Studio in the South Loop since they opened about 3 years ago and they are the best. Everyone is always so friendly and ready to answer any questions that you might have. The hygienists are great and provide excellent service. My dentist is Dr. Goran Kralj and he is without a doubt the best dentist I have ever gone to. He will take however much time is needed to work with you and go above and beyond to help resolve any special needs that you may have. I can truly say he is a 'Rock Star'. ORA Dental Studio in the South Loop is the best place to go if you are looking for great dental care. read more

not surprised that everyone rates ORA as good as it gets for a dental experience. Dr. Kralj is terrific. If you live in the so. loop and have any other dentist that you consider to be average... I'd consider a switch. read more

I hate the dentist, but I love this place. Seriously, super friend staff. The dental hygienist couldn't have been more friendly, the girl who took the x-rays was friendly and joked with me and made an all around uncomfortable experience (I hate those things they make you bite down on...) really comfortable. And the actual dentist was super friendly and explained everything very clearly...not only that but he suggested several procedures, but stopped there...he suggested. He didn't pressure me or try to get me to make an immediate appointment. He told me to think about and even encouraged me to get a second opinion. Very highly recommended! read more

Believe all of the good reviews. This place is full of caring people who try to make your visit as comfortable and pleasant as possible. I hadn't been to a dentist in a very long time and they went out of their way to make me comfortable. read more

I recently had a small cavity filled by Dr Kralij at the west loop location. I had never had a cavity in my life, so I was slightly terrified. However, the procedure was so easy breezy, I could hardly believe it. I have a pretty low tolerance for pain and I can tell you there was absolutely no pain. Will be coming back to Ora Dental studios for all my dental care! read more

After going to about 5 different dentist offices, I have finally found one that is awesome! They saw me right away and did a great, painless job on a really bad tooth. Everyone was super nice and the office is state-of-the-art. The real kicker is that the office is LEED certified and they plant a tree every time they pull a tooth. How cool is that!? read more

Fast, friendly & professional. I actually enjoy coming to the dentist. Thanks Ora Dental!

So I just got a wisdom tooth removed this morning with Dr. Koos and I already feel the need to write a review to say how great it went. He was very kind and professional at my consultation and I felt very at ease there ( which is a first for me because seeing any kind of doctor freaks me out way too much) He explained everything that was going to happen on the day of the operation and rid me of my worries right from the start. This morning flew by for me. When I got there I signed in at reception and was called after 15 minutes. Immediately I was put into the operating room and prepared. I was given laughing gas which made me go very limp and the nurse put on classical music for me to relax. A moment after Dr. Koos came in and started an IV and talked to me till I fell asleep. I woke up to what only felt like a minute or so and I was done! My jaw felt very stiff but they provided me with a gel ice pack. I was taken to a recovery room and they called my husband right away. Dr. Koos explained to me what I should do for the next few days and send me home with a bag full helpful information and other things for the pain. Dr. Koos even told me he was going to call me later this evening to see how I was doing, now that's just awesome of him ^-^ I'm home now with some pain, which is to be expected but nothing like what some people say they went through with other doctors. I'll admit I was very skeptical about coming here but after this experience I will definitely be returning to get the remainder of my wisdom teeth removed. Thank you ORA and Dr. Koos! Big plusses for me were - Professional and caring staff. -The free patient parking (which for anyone that goes anywhere near the loop knows is insane to find) - Very modern and beautifully decorated office. - A great 3D visual and x-ray of my teeth to see exactly what needs to be taken care of. - A beverage station while you wait to be called in. read more

I must tell you all out there a story about my fear. The last 20 years, for some reason I have been so afraid to go to the dentist that I neglected my teeth. I had beautiful straight white teeth at one time. Only went when it was an emergency. Then while suffering for 5 months with a neurology problem, I had to have a tooth pulled. I was lost on where to go and where to feel safe. I was told Dr. Steven Koos was a wondering, caring oral surgeon. I read his reviews and they were all great! Although I was still scared, I needed fast care. I called Friday August 26th, 2016 and was taken the very next day. First the office, the waiting area and the staff put me on an instant safe feeling. When Dr. Steven Koos walked in the room that I was assigned to, shook my hand and my husbands hand, introducing himself. He genuinely listened to all my concerns and cares with calm and great concern. Scheduled me for surgery the next week- My husband and I walked out of there in total disbelief that any doctor could care and put so much time that Dr. Koos did. We felt we hit the jack pot. I had the surgery on September 3rd 2016. It went so well, I felt safe, cared for and was very well watched over. Dr. Steven Koos after the surgery called my family in a lovely room for me to rest. Gave me all I needed to care for myself in the following days. Called me that same night to see how I was doing and gave me his cell phone number in case I needed anything. All his patients are important to him, that's for sure. He is #1 in my books! I thank you Dr. Koos, you are one of a kind and the price was well considered. Thank you Dr. Steven Koos again, it was a pleasure to meet you and have you take care of my problem. -Maria read more

Wow! Ora and Dr. Koos are awesome, is all I can say. I was told by my dentist that I needed my wisdom teeth out before I go to college and went to this guy that he referred me to first. I didn't really feel comfortable with him and wanted a second opinion. My friend had Dr. Koos remove her wisdom teeth and she loved him and did great so she turned me on to Ora Dental Studio and I am so glad that she did!!! I searched him online at www.orasurgery.com and found out that he put together the first green oral surgery office in the country! I figured if he cares that much for the environment he has to also care that much about patients too...and I was right. Their office is sick!! Hip, luxurious and chill all the way. He made me feel so calm and at ease with something that I was WAY nervous with. I did great afterwards too, and am off to college!!!! read more

This group is the best around. My son lives in a group home in the city and this wonderful group of people worked very closely with the staff to get the kids dental issues handled. They closed their office for a day to attend to these kids. They were kind, passionate and very nice. If I lived anywhere nearby I would certainly be going to them but I dont. read more

I am currently receiving Invisalign treatment from Ora dental south loop location. I am having worries on the treatment plan. I think there are few cases here about invisaligh, is there someone here who also received invisalignservice and can share their experience ? thanks read more

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Kralj and highly recommend him to all of my friends and family. Initially, I hadn't been to the dentist in years and was afraid of not only the pain, but the $$$ I was sure I had to deal with. I do not have great teeth and have spent a lot of time at ORA studios. Two years and several procedures later, I know I'm much healthier and have no fear. I've been to many dentists in my life and Dr. Kralj is by far the best I've ever had. Not only does he NOT try to sell you anything you don't need, he is very accommodating and does everything he can to make services you DO need affordable. Dr. Kralj actually cares about his patients and their oral health. He does great work and is gentle and pain free. The office is upscale, the staff is amazing and incredibly helpful. Kate is especially amazing and like a detective when it comes to insurance questions. I no longer live in Chicago, but after trying to find a dentist in NYC (two VERY bad experiences), I am flying back to Chicago for all of my dental needs. Dr. Krajl is affordable and YOU WILL NOT FIND A BETTER DENTIST!!! read more

My orthodontist recommended me to have four premolars extracted two months ago. I did research on experienced oral surgeons and stumbled upon this place. On consultation day, I met with doctor Koos. He was very personable, friendly and informative about the treatment process. Despite my fear of the procedure, I looked forward to treatment, because the staff here made me feel that much comfortable. Unfortunately, Dr. Koos informed me that he would be out of the country on the day I had scheduled for the extractions. He suggested another oral surgeon, Dr Schrotenboer, do my surgery in the same office. I was a bit skeptical for obvious reasons, but Dr Schrotenboer ROCKED! I don't remember everyone else's name because of the anesthesia, but the entire team in the room worked TOGETHER to make sure all of my questions was aware of what they were doing to me and that I was comfortable. You all exceeded my expectations, and provided exceptional customer service! read more

I chose this place solely because of the positive reviews I read, and I truly believe they deserve every 5 star review received. I got all 4 wisdom teeth taken out yesterday and the process went way smoother than I had anticipated. It was fast, painless, and the staff made me feel at ease. Dr Koos also called to check in on me later that night to make sure I was feeling okay. I will recommend this place to anyone I know! read more

If you are looking for a nice appealing office, amicable modern doctor, great reviews online, nice staff - it is all here, no problem, although still more expensive even with insurance, for two wisdom teeth over $700 additional fee. But, yet more people need to write what happens later on after the wisdom teeth surgery, after a few weeks or when the pain medication is not needed anymore, when there are complications... I do not feel my lip and chin, and have huge headaches, and I did not get any advice, except to wait patiently. I had to take steroids the first week, which made no difference at all. I was not warned at all before the surgery how badly it can end, I wish I was, maybe I would have not proceeded, I regret that I did it so much with all this discomfort now every day... Someone has to warn about the psychological suffering from not feeling lip or chin, itching, let alone that anything like that CAN happen! It is a great office and from the reviews looks like most end up well,I wish i was one of them, but I am the unlucky person here who is dealing with terrible consequences for the last three months. I wait patiently and hopefully someday I will feel normally again, my holiday wish. I will write again then. Hope everyone else has a better luck, or thinks twice where to do, get more informed than me, or think twice if to do it at all... read more

I went to Ora Dental Studio (South Loop) for a standard cleaning because they are walking distance from my home (always a plus). Upon checking in, I was given a tablet PC to enter my information. I had to wait a little bit before I was seen, but not any longer than other dentists' offices I've been to. The difference was that the staff would check on me every 10 minutes or so, to let me know that they had not forgotten about me. Apparently another patient had come in late for their appointment before me. That stuff happens, so I can't really hold it against them this time. Dr. Gralj and the Staff were friendly and very professional. The massaging dental chair with flat-screen monitor was pretty cool. This place has a very nice balance of technology, professional staff, and ambiance that makes the whole dental process a very pleasant experience. I will definitely be coming back for future dental work. read more

They deserve 10 stars!! I absolutely loved the service provided by Dr. Koos and his wonderful staff. I had all four of my wisdom teeth pulled last month. The entire place is amazing and clean with state-of-the-art equipment. You're offered a music selection of your choice to ease your mind. Since I was put to sleep for my procedure, it was good music to awaken to. The recovery room makes you feel as though you're at a spa...That is until you realize you've just gotten out of surgery, hearing post-op instructions, and given nice ice packs for swelling. As stated, Dr. Koos followed up with a phone call that night. He was even available on Sunday (his off day) to respond to questions and concerns I had. The front office staff was very patient, polite, and understanding with me before and after my procedure. For every request or issue I had-big or small, the office assisted immediately. The female dentist that practice in his place is good as well. At first I was hesitant when told she would see me since Koos was out for my follow-up. However, she is very knowledgeable and just as thorough as Koos. As crazy as this may sound- they definitely make getting teeth pulled a nice experience. read more

I was searching online for a oral surgeon, and saw the reviews that ORA dental had received and I was impressed. I decided to give them a try. I needed to have a tooth removed that had broken to the gumline. Dr. Koos and the entire staff was friendly and warm. They explained everything that was to be expected from start to finish. I went in to have my procedure on 1/28/2013 at 10:30 a.m. It is now 2:12p.m same day. I had to go look in the mirror to make sure my procedure had been completed, had I not seen the hole in my mouth I would not have belived it. I am in NO pain whatsoever and have not taken any medications. I think he is a DENTIST/MAGICIAN. I would recommend this clean facility and warm staff to anyone who needs to have any dental procedures. They are very empathetic to anyone who fears dental procedures, because of Dr. Koos and his staff I am no longer afraid of visiting the dentist. This will become my regular dental office. read more

I normally don't write reviews but I felt compelled to after the service I received yesterday. I've been going to Ora Dental Studios for a couple years for check-ups and Invisalign treatment, and have had appointments with both Dr. Patel and Dr. Kralj (both are great). Having said that, I had severe pain for 1-2 days and scheduled an appointment with Dr. Kralj yesterday at 8am. He gave me pain meds immediately. I got x-rays done and consulted with him and he concluded that the pain was coming from a nerve, and I probably needed to get a root canal to take place of a filling that was done close to the nerve. He recommended seeing an endodontist, Dr. Flowers, at Southloop Dental Specialists. He said he was good friends with him and would try to get me in the same day for at least an evaluation because I was in so much pain. After he texted Dr. Flowers and confirmed I could get in the same day, I was able to get a root canal the same day and have immediate relief from pain. He went above and beyond and I'm so grateful for the level of care I received and will always recommend Ora Dental Studios to people I know for great dental care! read more

This was the best dental experience of my life!!! After putting off getting my wisdom teeth pulled for over a year, out of fear of oral surgeons and the horror stories I was told, I took the plunge and went to Dr. Koos and his team! First off, the office is INCREDIBLE and feels like a day spa! Tia at the front desk was AMAZING being both helpful with my questions and going above and beyond to make me comfortable and feel safe. She is the epitome of customer service and professionalism! The operating room was also amazing( the entire ceiling is a video screen) with them playing my choice of music and the staff joking and helping ease my fears as they put me out. Dr. Koos is very knowledgeable and walks you through every step he is going to take before the surgery making you feel comfortable with what he is going to do and answering any questions you might have. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this establishment and will be returning for any other dental work I need done!!! read more

I have tried on several occasions to start implant procedures but to no avail. Your people simple do not respond to phone calls or emails. How many people have to make this complaint before you guys take it serious? This is a very traumatic procedure for patients mentally, and when they finally make the decision, it is frightening to wonder if some one will respond to your calls after you get started. There needs to be one receptionist responsible for receiving and following up to all phone calls. No one should be waiting in the lobby over 10 mins waiting for implant surgery (too much time to think about it). If a patient insist on speaking to the doctor because they have been unsuccessful with the front desk the doctor should come to the phone or call the individual himself. I too have read about the superior work at this clinic but you must meet with your staff about these issues read more
