We had a really great experience working with Orkhan and would definitely recommend him! We first hired Orkhan for a bunch of small repairs around our house, and we were really happy with his work. His quote was very reasonable and, importantly, very detailed, which gave us a lot of confidence from the start. He was patient, polite, responsive, and easy to work with. We also appreciated how transparent he was about material costs and that he provided receipts for everything he purchased. After that, we hired him to upgrade our 100-year-old Art Deco bathroom with a new vanity, mirror, toilet, etc. He did a beautiful job. He was careful with the details, and we're really happy with how it turned out. There was a small issue with the tile alignment, and when we pointed it out, Orkhan responded immediately and came back the very next day to fix it. That kind of responsiveness and willingness to make things right was really appreciated. We also had him finish our garage with LVP flooring. He helped us move appliances around and picked up materials for us from the store. The project went smoothly and he gave us updates with photos while we were out of town. Everything turned out great and the transformation was amazing. Overall, Orkhan is reliable, honest, skilled, and takes pride in his work. We're very happy we found him and would absolutely recommend him to anyone looking for a great contractor. We'd definitely work with him again! read more

We recently had water damage in our home that forced us to replace the flooring in the kitchen. We also wanted to get recessed lights in our bedrooms along with few minor fixes related to water leaks. After getting quotes and talking with multiple companies, I decided to offer this job to ORkhan and his team. And I must say, they did a fantastic job and I would highly recommend them. Orkhan came home on the same day I called him and gave a very reasonable quote for the job.He communicated clearly the timeline for each job and delivered on time. There were couple of days where they worked till 8pm to complete the work. The kitchen finish was wonderful and recessed lights installation and drywall patching also was very well done. Overall, they have good expertise on different areas and I would definitely work with them again on any of our future home projects read more

I bought a door and frame a couple of years ago and confidently told myself, "I'll install this soon." Spoiler alert: I did not. After it sat in storage way longer than planned, I finally reached out to OR Fix - and I'm glad I did. They responded quickly, gave me a very reasonable quote, and scheduled the project without any hassle. When the team arrived, they were polite, professional, and actually explained what they were going to do. Throughout the project, they were clean, detail-oriented, and transparent about costs, with receipts included - no surprises. Lesson learned: stop procrastinating and call OR Fix. We interviewed several contractors and ultimately decided to hire Or-Fix for our bathroom remodel. Our goal was to transform an old, bulky bathtub into a modern walk-in shower, and the result was exactly what we envisioned. We absolutely love our new walk-in shower. We wanted to go with the Schluter system, and Metix built our shower using the Schluter system with great care and precision. The tile-work on the walls and floors, the finish, glass door installation, shower fixtures, toilet, lighting, fan, bidet, wall work, and paint all look beautiful and highly professional. OR-Fix also went above and beyond by helping us pick up tiles, windows, and other large items from the stores, delivering them to our home, and even returning the extra tiles for us, which made the entire process much easier. We also hired OR-Fix to install a new window and patch the exterior siding, and the wood match was absolutely perfect. We highly recommend OR-Fix. They work hard to deliver truly satisfactory results and clearly take great pride in their workmanship. read more

I submitted my project details on Yelp; and got connected with OR Fix. Orkhan immediately responded to my call; and was available at the scheduled time to review the work. I had old tenants delayed move out and new tenants wants to move-in early; left with only 3 days in between. Work involved fixing many items damaged by old tenants; and moved out without fixing them. He went above and beyond the schedule and able to take care of all the work. It was very nice working with him; and will certainly hire in future projects. read more

We have been putting off remodeling our bathrooms the past few years and finally took the time to hire someone to do it. Orkhan was highly recommended to me by a patient last year so I had his contact and finally decided to get it done this year. We knew we were going to hire him prior to meeting him due to good recommendation. We took our chances and didn't interview any other contractors. Need to say we are very happy with the work. We understand nothing can be exactly perfect but Orkhan worked with us and tried his best. We honestly wasn't sure what we wanted and Orkhan helped us with ideas and opinion on things. The kids bathroom had a recessed opening but it was too small to place the recessed mirror in the wall but we were able to place it on the wall. Orkhan gave us an idea of doing a hidden shelf behind or master bathroom to make use of the hole in the wall and we loved the outcome. There were some little details in the backsplashes which Orkhan gladly fixed before we closed out the projects. We now have a nice bathroom space for our kids and a higher shower head, mirror, and light placement for my husband which he no longer needs to duck down to get ready for the day. Thank you Orkhan! Will definitely contact again for future home projects. read more

Orhan was great! He responded quickly to my request and we arranged a time. He was early for our meeting and got the job done. It was a small job hanging 2 blinds and install 1 light fixture but he came and did the work. He even helped me paint the wall since my light fixture was smaller than the original fixture for no extra charge. I'll definitely Will call Orhan again for other jobs. read more

It was a pleasure to work with Orkhan and his team! We worked with them on replacing fireplace and backsplash tiles; along with replacing the range hood (which requires installing an electricity box and cutting through the roof). It's pretty evident that they are versatile. They are very easy to communicate with, hard working, accommodating and have exquisite attention to detail. The craftsmanship is shown and much appreciated. We are very happy with the outcome of the projects and we'll for sure contact them again for future projects. read more

I'm very glad to have worked with Orkhan for my home projects. It's great to find a trusted expert and someone who I'd refer or go back for future projects. We reached out to Orkhan and he was very quick to respond and it was easy to communicate with him. We wanted to turn our garage into an office/play room for the kids. Orkhan was prompt and went above and beyond our requests (fixing our water heater piping, adding outdoor motion lighting, etc). I changed my mind a few times and he adjusted quickly. We had another contractor for a built in bunk bed but we moved the project to Orkhan and he was able to deliver exactly what I wanted. He even added a ladder for me (another last minute change). He and his team knew that I wanted the projects done sooner than later and were able to deliver and finish all projects so I can clean and surprise my family. Thanks Orkhan and I look forward to working with you again (I've got more projects coming up!). read more

OR Fix converted our ~400 sq ft, 2-car garage into a warm, welcoming family/game room, exceeding expectations making it a true extension of the house rather than a converted garage. The project involved flooring, floor and wall insulation, electrical, drywall, and split AC installation. Each phase was handled professionally and beyond our expectations. Electrical work was clean and well-planned, with outlets, lighting, and switches placed exactly where we needed them. Orkhan paid attention to details, for example, he not only closed the water heater in the garage with a finished door for a clean look but also thoughtfully provided air ventilation for the heater, and diverted the drain pipe to outside. As we converted the garage to family space, we lost the storage space. Orkhan suggested and framed an extra 10x10 room in one corner with entry from outside that can act as a small storage room for all the typical garage clutter. Communication was clear throughout the project, and they were always willing to explain options, materials, and any trade-offs so we could make informed decisions. If you're looking for a contractor who understands both the technical side and the importance of quality craftsmanship, I highly recommend them. read more

It is funny how we reached out to Orkhan through yelp for fixing few things in our home and extended it to being a full blown project. He was super responsive, came on time and gave us a competitive pricing. We were already planning to get our bathroom done with some other contractor, but after we met Orkhan and he shared his instagram profile we changed our mind about going for another contractor and asked him to give us an estimate for our bathroom and garage remodelling. It was the best decision we made!! We told him that we need to get the work done before our daughters birthday and he made sure to do before that. All his men were always on time and cleaned up after they left. They were very accommodating throughout as we had to change plans couple of times during the work was going on and they would adjust without even a single complaint. Apart from remodelling they helped us secure lot of things at home as I wanted to get it done because of a toddler. He did not overcharge and did all the jobs perfectly. I am definitely going to rehire them for other projects that we are planning to do in the future. I recommend him 1000% read more

I was in an urgent situation because a rental was broken into from the balcony and the door needed to be replaced as quickly as possible. Orkhan and his son stepped up to help me asap. When we were choosing the company for our bathroom remodeling project, it was a little bit like Goldilocks and the three bears. One company was too big for our needs and budget, one seemed not very interested in the details of the project and from the first time Orkhan came to our home, we had a very positive feeling that he and his company OR Fix, would be just right for our vision of how we wanted our bathroom to turn out. Orkhan made a careful review of the site, listened to our questions, made some helpful suggestions and seemed very capable and flexible with regard to materials, timing and how to handle changes in the plan. He was always very responsive to our texts and several questions, even before the work started and apologized if there was any slight delay in getting back to us when he was in the middle of other work. On the day the project commenced Orkhan brought a very sharp and hard working young man named Elmar on site and explained everything that was to be done. Elmar was very focused and jumped right in with the site preparation and demolition, which turned out to be fairly extensive due to previous layers of remodeling work that had been done years ago - he had to remove three plus inches of cement and old tile after taking out the cabinets and other fixtures. Elmar only stopped to have a brief lunch and left behind a huge pile of broken concrete and full bags of removed material outside at the end of a long day's labor. He showed up promptly each day and made steady progress in his work. Orkhan came by regularly to check on things and to complete the plumbing, electrical wiring, and duct work that was needed for a new bathroom fan. Elmar worked tirelessly to complete everything we asked, including extra work like installing multiple grab bars, an ADA towel bar and smooth plaster coating and paint over the old stucco wall texture. The finished results are amazing and beautiful! As a final note, Orkhan's initial quote was reasonable and the project costs were carefully explained, all receipts for any materials needed were documented and provided at the end of each week's work. Orkhan made a point of not accepting the last installment until everything was completed to our satisfaction. We are very happy with the experience of working with OR Fix and will definitely consider calling them back for future remodeling and handyman projects in our home. read more

As I was having the base and posts that support the landing of my stairs we discovered that the beam and post of the first section of the stairs has water damage. The side beam and main post is rotting as well as a few steps under the tiles are also rotting. My own contractor wanted to replace the entire stairs which means I have to also replace all the tiles for the entire stairs. But my tiles are in perfect condition. So I decided to call several contractors on Yelp! Orkhan responded quickly. He was able to come and take a look. Within a few minutes, he confidently told me that he could fix the beam and the stairs without having to replace all the tiles. I was thrilled to hear this. Orkhan fixed the area in one day. He also helped caulk all the cracks on the side of the stairs. I am super happy with the work done. I highly recommend Orkhan. We had Orkhan with us for renovations of 2 bathrooms. We treated them as separate projects. Orkhan was full hands on in the first one whereas for the second one, he had additional crew who needed guidance. Few things that struck are: Fair quotes , skills, honesty, adaptability to change in plans, attention to detail, accountability of mistakes and promptness in correcting them. You know if you have the above, you can partner with that person. In our case, it was a great partnership of aesthetic ideas and design of ours and execution and technical solutions of his. We had OR-FIX come in again to do more remodeling at our place - this time they: - installed a vanity along with plumbing - installed mirrors and vanity lightings - painted some walls that needed a fresh coat - there was one wall that had mold and they completely cut out the mold and installed new wall. As usual, they did a fantastic job! They did it within the timeframe I needed, cleaned up everything and hauled away the old debris. Orkhan and his team are really good at what they do, they are easy and friendly to work with and their prices are very reasonable. The best part is that they are very skilled. For example, if there is something I made a mistake when ordering parts, they'll apply their skill and experience and still deliver stunning and artful results. And I love that they are always happy to help with some small things I need help with around the place as well. As one other reviewer said, OR-FIX is now my goto handyman/installation company (and I am going to use them to do my kitchen next). Highly recommended! read more

Orkhan and team at OR Fix is absolutely fantastic. They are highly responsive, incredibly competent and very honest and gave a good price. They fixed a rotating cabinet in my kitchen which was jammed for many months. They immediately unjammed it, figured out the problem, and fixed it by adding reinforcements and realigning the rotation mechanism. This was a complex job that they finished in less than an hour with only 2 people. Total time from initial call to final fix was 1 day (call on Sunday, fix on Monday). Very impressive. We hired Orkhan to help us fix our staircase flooring which was not installed properly by the original flooring company. He came by and gave us an honest assessment of what needed to be done and a timeline we could expect. His team worked with our schedule and were very considerate to get it done right without rushing the process. This is critical because we needed the leveling surface to be dry before we installed the flooring pieces. The staircase looks great and feels solid now. I had an odd request that had already left me ghosted by 4 handyman, which was to fix and make the trapdoor to my basement easier to open. Before Orkhan, my basement access was through a solid wood door in the floor that was so heavy I could not lift it. One of the hinges was also broken, and the pole mechanism to keep it open was busted. Orkhan fixed the broken aspects (retaining the pole mechanism as an optional bonus to keep the trapdoor open), reframed the entire thing, and installed hydraulic lifts to make it easy for me to open, holding it open while in use, and easy to close. The end result was better than I expected, and the final price was lower than his original quote. I'm so happy that I found OR Fix after 6 months of trying to find someone up for the task. read more

I recently purchased a home in Cupertino CA. As is typically true for most homes in Cupertino my new home needed much remodeling/renovations. I hired OR FIX for following projects: 1. Master and guest Bathroom remodel: Flooring, Vanity, electric mirrors, medicine cabinets, painting. 2. Front door installation. 3. Garage: Remove and fix ceiling. 4. Kitchen remodel: Cabinet refacing, painting, range hood, backsplash, sink. My home has been truly transformed by high quality service from OR FIX. It looks much more upscale and has added at least 25% appreciation to my home value, which is big deal in Cupertino CA. I would recommend OR FIX in a heartbeat to anyone looking for transforming their home into their dream home. Here are few reasons I gave 5 star ratings to their service. 1. Trust and dependability: I worked with multiple contractors during renovation of my new home but OR FIX was the most dependable. They never missed any timeline, gave honest feedback and made sure that all our requests were satisfied beyond our expectations. 2. Reasonable pricing: I never had to do back and forth on any quote. They made sure that their quotes were very competitive. 3. Quality of service: I cannot say enough about how flawless they did all the projects they touched. I will never look for any handyman beyond OR FIX for any of my future home needs. Thank you OR FIX for making our house a sweet home :).
