Both were a disappointment involving multiple trips to get the job done The latest job is still ongoing. Their tech came out to swap the equipment out to upgrade to the hopper and was here for 7 hours even though I was told it would only take a couple of hours. That would have still been okay if every thing worked fine after he left. After about five hours I had to leave to go back to work and when I returned I tried out the new system and the Hopper remote would not work. I called A Cut Above(ACA) and the next day the tech came out but he brought the wrong remote and said he he would be back the following day with the right one. I didn't hear from anyone after that so I called ACA several times over the next several weeks with no luck getting the issue resolved; in the meantime I discovered that the tech did not hook up the hopper to my wireless modem as he was supposed to so I also called ACA about that and was told someone would be out the next day to hook the hopper up to my wireless internet and that they had mailed me my new remote. It is now 10 days after that conversation and neither has happened. I am a patient person but I finally became angry with ACA and was told that it was their contractors fault not theirs. I'm a home builder and remodeler who uses a lot of sub contractors and I can't imagine using that lame excuse with one of my customers. I asked for the owner to call but have heard nothing which speaks volumes. If your'e in business you need to take ownership of your problems; something that ACA knows nothing about. I am now dealing directly with dish.

Cancellation with Frontier took about 17 minutes, which was ok as I understood they would try to sell me another plan with 'better' pricing. However, I still cancelled and they are charging me what was explained to me as a standard $50 for shipping and handling for me to return my equipment...when other companies offer free drop off at the end of service! For this reason alone I would not recommend Frontier. I will go to my socials and spread the word of this $50 fee when Frontier has already collected thousands from me over the years.

We called them back and they tried a couple of different antennas finally getting some reception. We were told by the owner that if we wanted it better, we'd have to give them more money and if we didn't like their service they'd come pull down their equipment. He said that antenna installation wasn't their main business and they were only doing this for their DISH customers which we weren't. We still have so-so reception from KTEN because their installers aimed the antenna into a neighboring tree. I will have to fix this myself just like I should have installed my own antenna. Don't deal with these rip-off artists.
