No bad to report. Professional and punctual in viewing the job and providing the quote. Chose to select Painters edge instead.

Great work and reasonably priced. Came out next day and completed the job very fast with A+ craftsmenship

Omar did an incredible job on our house. He was able to quote it right away. And we did not have to wait long for him to get started. HE pressure washed and caulked before painting. He used premium paint and applied two coats beautifully and perfectly. We had some bad wood and some with damage, all of which he replaced as part of the initial bid. Our house is brick with some wood side paneling and soffit, as well as trim pieces, he only painted the wood and our gutters and he used 12 gals of paint, so it won's be wearing off any time soon. I could not be more pleased with the job he did. The price was good and the quality was excellent. read more

Omar patched up several areas on my ceiling that were damaged from water leaks. He arrived on time, was courteous and friendly, and he did amazing work. Everything was properly covered with plastic to keep things clean. The repaired areas look great now and you can't even tell that the leaks ever happened. I'm really impressed with the quality of the work. And the price was very fair. I will definitely use this company again, and would recommend! read more

I did my fair share of shopping around when trying to find someone to paint my house, and I'm so glad I picked Omar. His services were so much more reasonably priced than other companies and he did a great job! Omar was consistently communicative and responsive to questions in a timely manner and it really helped put me at ease. I just had foundation work on my house that resulted in some pretty significant cracks that had me worried. Omar came in to repair the wall damage, match texture, and paint all over. It looks great! You can't even tell there was ever any damage. There was a small section of a wall that was missed initially. I let Omar know and he immediately offered to come fix it within a day. I so appreciate his communication and conscientious customer service. I would absolutely work with Omar again in the future! read more

My husband and I were looking for a good interior painter and read the excellent reviews on Hernandez Painting and Textures. I must say, we are not disappointed. We are so happy with the work Omar did at our home. Omar painted, caulked, scraped and replaced the rotted boards on our entire exterior. He also repaired several areas on the interior ceiling that had been an eyesore for several years. Needed fresh new paint for a new home move in. Also needed to paint old wooded kitchen cabinets white to make home more modern looking. Called around and Jorge "Omar" Hernandez was the best price. He scheduled with me and completed the job on time before my parents moved in. What a difference a fresh coat of paint can do for a 15 year old home. I would highly recommend Jorge again for any other painting projects. Great job Jirge read more

Prompt reply. Good price. Good job. Showed up for estimate and on site exactly when promised. Did just the work I asked for. 50 year old sheet rock on roof of garage was coming down and now its all been done and I don't have to worry about chunks coming down or looking at the holes left from a mediocre to begin with Fox and Jacobs sheetrock tape/bed job in my home. Beat other contractors price by a considerable margin. Will use again if I need more work done. read more

After the frustration of painters who won't return messages and painters who come by but will never send you a quote or return a call, I finally came across Omar. He was quick to return my call. We made an appointment and he showed up. I needed my dining, living, kitchen and breakfast areas painted and was interested in removing the popcorn if the price was doable. The price was good so the whole area got a makeover. They arrived on time. Everything was covered and taped down. Omar and his helper worked diligently only stopping for a short lunch break. He was very organized in his schedule. While waiting for things to dry, he did something else. No time wasted. He finished in 2 days. The ceiling has an orange peel texture and that ugly, dated popcorn is history. The walls are bright and fresh and the change makes the room look bigger. They cleaned up quickly, swept and then put the furniture back to original positions. I cannot recommend Omar enough, especially if you want to enter the abyss of popcorn removal. lol Several months later: I called Omar back to do some work in my kitchen--areas that were too high for me to reach. I wanted him to finish painting my kitchen cabinets and to do the trim around the top. I told him I was very picky about my cabinets and did not want any drips or dragging from using too much paint. He was painting dark blue cabinets and the walls were white. He did a perfect job blending where I stopped and he finished. There were no places where the blue paint got onto the white. There was a issue with what was covered in the price he quoted me. The quote was based on pics I sent him from my phone. He wasn't careful when he read what I needed and didn't look at the pictures closely. But he honored the price he quoted me and did the work. It looks great and I will use him again if the opportunity arises. read more

The team did an amazing job! We had a hole in our ceiling that had been patched (by someone else) and they came out, smoothed the area (pictured), took care of additional cracks and repainted. They matched the texture of the ceiling and paintwork absolutely perfect. They did a through job, cleaned up everything and made sure I was happy with it before leaving. Would highly recommend. read more

I contacted Omar via Yelp regarding a water damaged wall (bubbling and discoloration) and received a response the same day. He provided a quote for drywall replacement that was extremely reasonable and scheduled a time to come out the next day. He arrived on time and immediately got to work, taking care to cover the floor and surrounding areas with plastic - even wiping down all areas before leaving. Omar installed a 70 in wide x 20in tall section of sheet rock, applied a matching texture to the existing wall, and gave it two coats of paint. The wall looks absolutely amazing and you can't see a single seam or tell that it was replaced. I would highly highly recommend Omar and Hernandez Painting and Texture! read more

Omar was excellent. We stepped through our ceiling from the attic. We purchased matching paint and Omar was able to completely repair the hole in about two hours. The patch job is flawless and you would never know that we had hole there. The hole was right next to a hard-wired smoke detector and a ceiling light, and Omar took them down to match the texture perfectly then re-installed them. And best of all, Omar's price was very competitive. We have a larger project at another house we own and Omar will absolutely be the first person we call. read more
