Five stars ONLY because we finally got a new tech for this area!!…read more Two months of horrible service from Orkin after I asked them to please address my issues. They told me I would just have to deal with it my previous tech was always in a rush and he was just off, sagging pants complaining about the company and how badly structured they where was sad. So this review is for the new tech. Reece was very happy, polite and professional. The fact that he treated areas like he was suppose to do and never once complained and his uniform was well put together. Thank you!

Zero stars if I could. Orkin was a complete failure from start to finish. I had a 6 month service, and the technician, David, couldn't even manage the basics. I had to repeatedly ask him to wear booties in my home, and half the time he showed up without them. He even refused to come inside during an active ant problem because he "didn't have any." If a technician is stomping through attics full of rodent feces and still refuses to wear booties in my home, that tells you everything about Orkin's standards. When I canceled in March, I was told a manager callback was "required." I never got one. When I called again in April after the 30 day notice, the customer service rep was rude, dismissive, and made it clear my concerns weren't worth their time. Still no callback. Then today, when I finally paid the balance, the rep was suddenly polite. Apparently the only time Orkin can deliver decent service is when all they need is a credit card number. After ignoring two callback requests, they asked if I wanted one now. I told them I didn't get one the last two times, so why would I expect one now. Unprepared technician, no hygiene standards, rude customer service, zero accountability. I will never use Orkin again. I switched to a local company, Haven, and the difference is immediate, professional, and honestly a relief.

I'm not very familiar with how pest control normally works, but I wasn't particularly impressed…read morewith our service (please enlighten me if what we saw was the norm). We'd been having a problem with mud daubers coming into our house, so I requested them come and see if they can find where they're potentially coming from. Our technician (I think his name was Trey, I'm horrible with names) came in, sprayed the basewall of the house, and didn't really say much about the issue. Afterwards he worked on the outside of the house, but I can at the very least tell that he missed a nest that I specifically told him about, and left without saying a word. (again, was expecting him to come in and give the run down of what he did / found, contacted cs and they left a note for the next technician to do this before leaving) We'll see if the issue still persists and probably call for a follow up if it does. At the very least customer service is quick and helpful with their response, and I'll update this review if the problem does not persist *update: They responded to our review with a follow up regarding the services provided. I received a call from Mike explaining what happened, and got a lesson in pests which was nice because googling was not as helpful as it could be. Trey came back and this time was more thorough with explaining to us what was going on, so pretty much my complaints were addressed.

Looks like I'm the odd man out…read more I asked for one thing and got another. Had to get them out twice. Then because the ant problem wasn't addressed properly, the ants showed up again 35 days later. Company said too bad, so sad, you're out of the 30 day warranty period. Ok forget it. I'll use someone else.
