Booked our first appointment with them for this morning, 7/18. They were supposed to show up at 9 AM. We put our dogs outside in the heat expecting them to arrive on time for their appointment. At 9:15 my husband called and was told our guy is running late because he's at a new house. We said we would give it a few more minutes. At 9:25, we got a text saying he won't be here until 9:45 AM. I called and canceled the appointment. It's unprofessional to not notify your clients when you're running late. Your customer should never have to call you to find out what's going on. This was a very poor first impression. The best part was when I called to say we wanted to cancel because of the inconsideration, and they asked if I'd like to reschedule for later in the week. read more

I found these folks when a polite young lady came to my door to tell me about the pest control service she represented. "Right", I thought. "Yet another poison peddler who just wants to pollute my personal space for an annual fee". I had even looked at the "aardvark" folks for an organic solution, and had given up, resigned to living with the seasonal spiders and roly-poly bugs. But these folks surprised me-they have TWO options for controlling pests: "green" and "organic". No unprounceable chemical names that sound like I'll end up glowing in the dark and sprouting a third arm somewhere..so I thought, "I'll give it a try". Kris, the young lady who represented the company assured me there are no contracts, unlike some OTHER places I had been stuck with in the past. Greg, the owner, personally came to my door at the appointed time and patiently explained to me how their program works. No synthetic chemicals indoors, ever. Everything is derived from plants and natural sources (he even graciously sent me the product labels), and left my home with a pleasant minty scent. I have cats and dogs who are indoor critters and I was delighted to know that the spray Green Pest Guys use is completely non toxic to them. The best part is the curled up spiders and roly-poly bugs I discovered outside, and absolutely no bugs inside! What a relief! Great program, great, caring folks, and a decent price. I hired Greg and the Green Pest Guys in the early fall of 2011 and have been doing business with them ever since! At the time, I had just moved to Texas and had never seen anything as horrifying as these cockroaches around here. I found a couple in my bathtub one night and after first screaming and then commencing all-out warfare to oust the filthy little intruders, I went to work researching ways to keep them away for good. (*note: if you want nightmares, research American cockroaches on Google before going to bed) Because I'm a firm believer in environmetal responsibility and keeping synthetic and toxic chemicals away from my pets, body and home, I was elated to find the Green Pest Guys. Contacting them was piece of cake. I emailed the address on their website and got a call the next day to set up an appointment. Greg came out to my house in Irving at our scheduled time, explained his products and the processes he uses to maintain a high-quality integrated pest management regimen. He also inspected the exterior, interior, attic, crawl space and garage for signs of rodents and bugs, and treated wherever necessary. The interior product even leaves the house smelling like wintergreen candy! When he is in our yard, they are very diligent about making sure gates and doors are latched to keep our dogs from escaping. They are also very considerate of our landscaping and personal items in and outside our home and wear cloth booties over their shoes when inside to protect our floors. Aside from an occasional bug here or there during seasonal weather changes, our house has been virtually pest free since working with Green Pest Guys. They recommend quarterly treatments, but they guarantee their work and will come back for free if any concerns arise before the next treatment is due. So far it has been unnecessary, even when I skipped one of my indoor treatments because I coudn't be home on our scheduled day. I can't say enough great things about Greg and his Green Pest Guys. They are all so friendly and helpful. Most of all, they are honest and straightforward, and aren't going to try scaring you into spending money on unnecessary treatments. Pricing is competetive with the big name synthetic chemical pest control companies, but without all of the harmful neurotoxins. We built our housse in the extreme west Prosper area last year and have 2 dogs, We noticed ants no to long after closing and if you visit the work site at any time during building, the GC did not do much for making the subs clean up thier lunch debris. Since we have dogs we did not want to many poisons laying around and called greg at Green guys. He acted like he wanted to hear what i thought and then see what he could do for us, i have been using him ever since. no ants ever again- no problems at all. We originally hired Green Pest Guys because we had an ant problem. Then we realized we had a rodent problem. I freaked out so much I asked my husband to text Green Pest Guys on a Saturday night so they could come out on Monday. And they did! On Monday, they inspected the house top-to-bottom and gave us options for taking care of the rodent issue. After about two weeks, we had them come out again because, well, it appears a rodent had died somewhere in the house and it was making our guest bathroom smell. First, their go-to guy for identifying and sealing up entry-points in the house came out. The next day, Green Pest Guys' Chief Greenie came out to locate the dead rodent. Green Pest Guys did a fantastic job addressing our concerns quickly and efficiently. And it was a steal! I would gladly have paid 3 times what they charged us. Their services did not get rid of the roaches in our home. We chose green pest control because we thought it would be safer because we have a baby at home. But the technician who came was not professional he was spraying on top of my babies toys and stuffed animals which was inconsiderate considering I didn't want my child exposed to these chemicals. I paid the technician who came cash but was later contacted by the company stating that I had not paid for the services when I clearly did. We still had roaches after initial treatment and inquired with the company to treat some areas of the house again but did not receive a reply. I hired the Green Pest Guys to handle a rat problem we were having. Each time Greg came out he was on time and extremely professional. He made an initial treatment to get rid of the infestation and then returned later to seal up the access point. He got rid of the rats and his charges were very reasonable. Greg, I actually don't know what to think of your inability to perform doing what your business says you do, Control Pests. I've not seen any difference when you've treated my home. No change. Without putting words in your mouth, You seem to not really care that some of your products, don't work. I got that impression when I called you just last week. Within 30 days (May 28 - June 27) your guys treated my home. Chris also said, both times, we'll be back within 6 days to retreat. Nothing like that has happened nor have you been ringing my phone off the hook to see what you can do for the 30 day treatment at a cost to me of $ 243.56. I must have been a good day for you, both days.. like you saw me coming.. You still have the option to tell me what can be done.. but mostly, you were done.
