I pay my balance after the exam. Today I get a call from them saying that I had a remaining balance on my account even though I was told my insurance covered my exam. They also offered me to buy contact lenses for them for a much higher price than you can find on a website such as 1800contacts.com. Never going back there again as they were dishonest about my insurance coverage and didn't admit their mistake over the phone.

Instead, I was told I needed to complete a 30‑minute telehealth visit for general questions before I could see the doctor. They said they could issue a referral during that telehealth visit, but that wasn't helpful because I need the doctor's advice first. I spoke with three different representatives, and none of them could clearly explain the cost of the initial telehealth appointment or how to transfer my records from my previous provider. I ended up cancelling the appointment and plan to find a new PCP.

Cayla Bergstrom is a big reason for that as she is by far the best doctor I've seen. She's incredibly patient, kind, and understanding especially since I have sensitivity with any liquids near my eyes -- I'm sure I don't make eye exams easy but her calming effect always makes me feel more confident. The two ladies working at the front desk are also exceptionally welcoming and do a great job to always make sure I don't want my eyes dilated, which I appreciate. Just about the best staff out there. I found their prices very reasonable and they had a wide selection of frames to choose from. They let me try out a couple of sample contact lenses (I ultimately stuck with the same brand/type/pair). This is a family practice and the entire office puts a lot of care and effort into their customers.
