Pretty good pizza. I tried the Juno. The crust had nicely developed sourdough type flavor, and I enjoyed the blend of hearty potatoes and tart veggies. The chili oil was a great addition as well. It's pricey at nearly $30 for a single pizza after tax and tip, but it was tasty.

OOPs they did it again. Ops needs to be in the top 5 pies in NYC. The vibe at the NYC location is a little different than BKLYN. I was there early in Friday and it was very empty. Instead of the special square pie they offer in Bushwick, this location offers three tavernettas (bar pies) which are super thin and super cheesy. I actually really enjoyed this pie. Same natural wine line up but it seems as a little less selection.

Great addition to EV! Ops has a great vibe - dimly lit and easy to chat with friends. The staff was friendly and helpful. The tables are small but they course out the food so it never felt too crowded. We started with the ops salad and the supli. The dressing on the salad was addicting and the supli was so crispy and indulgent. However, the pizza was a standout! The Juno had an amazing flavor - the broccoli and potatoes went really well together. We also tried the classic thin pizza and it hit the spot. Crispy, thin, and cut into small pieces that were nice to munch on while we chatted. Will absolutely come back when I'm in the area. Perfect for a casual weeknight meal or a wine night with friends!

Very nice food! The wine pours were TINY. Way too small for the price, so skip the wine unless you get a bottle. Would go back for more pizza and the ops salad.

Thank you Ops for finally hearing our pleas and opening in Manhattan. The pizza is phenomenal, but everything on the menu is great from the lentil salad to the lasagna. The service is great too. Wonderful and lively atmosphere. Everything was so good I forgot to take photos.

I have had Ops on my list to go to for the past year when they only had their first location in Brooklyn. I'm so happy they opened in Manhattan! Visited on a Friday and they were packed - but in a good way. Tables didn't feel too close together and it overall had a cozy vibe. Service was incredible and the food was just as good! We ordered four pizzas between four of us, plus the Ops salad and only had a few slices left over. We ordered the thin crust Hawaiian, a margarita with pepperoni, the pops, and the mama. Our favorites were the Hawaiian and pepperoni! We also really loved the salad - it was super refreshing! Can't wait to come back again.

This is an excellent spot. What a great addition to the neighborhood! The mama pizza was perfect. The crust was so crispy, the bottom was crispy and didn't lose its shape when you grabbed a slice. The sauce is so so good. We also loved the spicy chili oil they bring to the table with your pizza. Also, the espresso martinis are clearly made with real espresso and are very strong...aka very good. I loved the vibe here and looking out to the street and the dim lighting. Lastly, the staff were very friendly. I believe it was their maitre d who was cleaning off all the tables, greeting people at the door, and coming around with more water and cashing guests out. Loved them.

I am SO glad we did. The vibe drew us in, they had great music bumpin from the outside, it looked lively and welcoming. Let me tell you- I would have skipped dinner and just stayed here all evening if it was my choice! But alas, my husband wanted a bit more to eat. But let me tell you- their knowledge of wine is PRISTINE! I can't tell you what white wine we had but they captured our tastes perfectly. We also shared a bruschetta and it was deliciouso! I love how friendly the staff was here and how unpretentious it all was. Next time we are in NYC- we will definitely make a point to come visit Rake!

First I'll start with the wine - we ended up trying all three happy hour wines (HH until 7), which the tables favorites were the white and we ended up getting a bottle to split once HH ended (but I really enjoyed the other vino verde option). It was incredibly refreshing and paired well with the many tinned fish options. As you'd expect - it's a pretty massive selection and there is bound to be a varietal and glass for any palate. It's also attached to a wine store - so it's fine to see all the bottles when peaking over. Food-wise - this is where it was hit or miss, they have a pretty extensive menu (with a whole tinned fish section!) and we ended up ordering the buratta on focaccia (buratta was excellent, focaccia was too dense for my tastes), mushroom truffle crostini (way too salty), the flatbread with sliced kielbasa (was fine), halloume (table favorite ), tinned sardines in lemon oil (delicious), tinned smoked trout (my favorite). Overall the four of us were very full at the end of the meal! The space itself felt very relaxing and rustic, and definitely got busier as the night went on (we got there at 6:50 and left around 9). The service was also fast and attentive - even for the amount of tables they were serving. Overall - I'd definitely go back again, and maybe just focus on the wine and another tinned fish selection!

I wanted to love Sunn's but overall it felt overrated…read more We ordered the banchan, chigae, bossam and tteokbokki. Starting with the positives -the banchan was solid across the board and really flavorful. That said, charging for banchan feels strange to me. Traditionally, it's complimentary, like bread at an Italian restaurant so that part didn't sit right but it was flavorful. The chigae was interesting and probably the standout dish. It had a unique flavor that reminded me of a mix between soondubu and dwenjang chigae which worked well. Unfortunately, the rest was a miss. The bossam was overly salty and didn't feel true to the dish. The tteokbokki was another disappointment -it came with cheese (which wasn't expected) and just fell flat overall. For the hype, I expected much more especially because I've eaten Korean food my whole life. The venue is small and the seats in the back are uncomfortable.
