This place has so much potential. The food itself is super good. But I can see why on a Friday night they were empty by like 8pm when they are open til 11pm. They had music, which in a space that small didn't need to be as loud as it was. The waitress we had was new which isn't an issue at all. She did mistake my friend ordering a beer for a food item on the menu. And she rarely checked up on us. We had also been done and ready for the check for 20 mins before she finally came over to ask us. On the other hand, I think the owner, at least she seemed like the owner. Though she was very friendly she also over shared. Complaining about how she was tired. And complaining about other things to not only us but others around us which got to be very uncomfortable. We ordered the trip dip dish. Which was good. It has hummus, guacamole, and basil pesto (you could choose a tomato pesto) it came with veggies and thin sliced bread. I wish it also came with the some bagel chips or some lots chip especially for the guacamole. My friend and I split a charcuterie board. Everything was good but we didn't get the right cheeses. And we asked for the correct cheese and still got the wrong one. The board was also too small for what all was on it making it difficult to get things off of it. This is a personal preference but I wish there was a pickled vegetable element to it. I did LOVE that the bread was sliced thinly and that they gave your crackers which I really liked. The s'mores desert was over priced for what you got. Also they gave you so much chocolate which wasn't needed and seemed like a waste. I wish that there was more strawberries and s'more element. Overall I feel like this place could be so much more.

We just had a baby shower at ophelias and all I can say is wow ! She hosted around 40 of us , the catering was delicious and she stuck to our budget. The place was so cute we didnt even decorate. The service was spectacular and we plan on coming back for any other event in the future. What a gem !

Finding this place on Yelp I had to try it, and Wow what a great time we had. They have a daily special where you can select two 1/2 sandwiches for $10, beats having the whole one, although I did, so I paid $13.50. I had tne BBQ Bano which I highly recommend, but it appears everything is awesome as the wife had a BLT + BBQ Bano, a friend had a BLT + Steak and another had a whole BLT. All of us highly enjoyed our sandwiches made by Nina who served us and entertained us. If you are in a rush this is not your place as it took Nina awhile to put it all together, but we're leisurely diners. Love it and recommend you try it.

Listen, this charcuterie box was so good. My husband and I loved everything.

Ophelia's wine and bites is so good. I've tried several things and everything was amazing. Staff is nice and friendly. They also have events and live music some time. Give it a try.

Ophelia's is an awesome addition to Moncks Corner. The food is spot on. We love going for a charcuterie board and a glass of wine. The have rotating charcuterie items so you always have something new you can try. The BBQ sammie and the melt are amazing. They do Sunday brunch now with a special brunch menu and live music. Anytime we stop in they are welcoming and the owners and staff are attentive. It is new and they are still working out some kinks. We frequent this place probably too often!

Moco melt - perfect amount of crispy and melty.

Really like this place. Have been here 3 times now and everything is made fresh, tastes great and is a very reasonable price. Inside they're still working on the decor but don't let that fool you - the food here is amazing and it's worth the trip! I've had the charcuterie board (delicious and beautiful) - the medium was a perfect heavy app for 2 people. If it was dinner, I'd probably get a medium just for me. Wine is great too - had a few whites and the rose. Also had mushroom soup and moco melt - both great for a cold day! I don't eat grilled cheese sandwiches often but this is a splurge worth trying! Got valentines day reservations and excited, especially about the chocolate fondue. Service is also really good.

I didn't realize this was even in Moncks Corner until I visited Yelp. I was impressed at the set up of the restaurant, definitely a welcoming environment for a meal with friends, or if they would like to a brewery. The food was great and inexpensive. I will be back!

The drinks are priced on the higher end, but the relaxed, comfortable atmosphere makes it feel approachable. We also love that they offer seasonal and holiday cocktails, which is right up our alley. We brought Luna along and sat on the patio, which was a nice option. I would love to see heaters added outside to make the patio more comfortable on cooler nights. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive throughout our visit. I ordered the Fireside Chat (served warm), made with Four Roses Bourbon, Croft Tawny Port, apple cider, orange juice, grenadine, turbinado sugar, allspice, and clove ($15). I really enjoyed the flavor profile--warm, well-balanced, and perfect for the season. That said, I was a little disappointed that my second drink wasn't garnished nearly as nicely as the first, especially given the price. Flavor-wise, though, both were very good. My husband started with the Gingersnap, which includes Monkey Shoulder blended Scotch whisky, Disaronno almond liqueur, butterscotch liqueur, spiced ginger syrup, heavy cream, Angostura bitters, cookie rim, and nutmeg ($16). He enjoyed it but felt it was definitely a one-drink cocktail due to how sweet, creamy, and heavy it was. He also ordered the Smoked Maple-Bacon Old Fashioned with bacon fat-washed bourbon, spiced maple syrup, tobacco bitters, and a salted brown sugar rim ($16). This one was a miss for him--too sweet, with the maple and smoke overpowering the drink, and not much bacon flavor coming through. That said, the presentation was excellent; watching the smoke being lit was a highlight, and I even grabbed a video of it. Our total came to about $71 before tip, and we didn't order any food, so it's definitely on the pricier side. Still, for the ambiance, creative cocktails, and overall experience, I think it's worth it--especially for a relaxed night out with a more elevated feel.

We actually stumbled upon Luxe Bar & Bistro while planning to head downtown, but a bridge closure caused major traffic, so we decided to change plans and just find somewhere local to enjoy a holiday cocktail. After checking reviews online, Luxe Bar & Bistro stood out, so we decided to give it a try -- and we're so glad we did. They have a large outdoor space, but of course, it started to rain as soon as we arrived. Luckily, they also have a covered front patio with a few chairs, which worked out perfectly. We each ordered two cocktails. I started with Under the Mistletoe -- Tito's, house-made rosemary simple syrup, lemon juice, topped with soda ($10). This was hands down the most delicious holiday drink I've had so far this season. It was refreshing, perfectly balanced, and hit the spot. I also tried the seasonal special, a Pomegranate Cranberry Sangria ($10), which was equally good. My husband ordered the Tipsy Grinch-- Malibu rum, mango purée, blue curaçao, pineapple juice, and soda water ($9.50). He said it was sweet but not overly sweet and really enjoyed it. He also had the Dirty Snowman Martini with RumChata, Disaronno Amaretto, vanilla vodka, and a cinnamon sugar rim ($13). He substituted almond milk for the half-and-half, and it was still creamy and delicious. We also had a great conversation with Natalie and quickly realized we had a lot in common, especially when it comes to dogs and the importance of pet safety. I always love meeting a fellow dog mom who shares the same values. The service and ambiance were excellent, and the space was beautifully decorated for Christmas. We will 100% be back -- and next time, we definitely plan on trying the food.

Moncks Corner has so many fast food restaurants but today I wanted to spend my money on a local establishment That's My Dawg. I walked in, weary from a long day running events to be greeted by a guitarist, backing tracks, and 6 whooping elderly patrons. They were enjoying themselves, a little tipsy, and loud. Fortunately I wasn't looking for peace and quiet, just a quick to go order of a chili dog, sausage dog, wings, and onion rings. I shuffled my way to the counter, carrying the weight of the day only to wait 5 minute before spoken to by one of the servers. My order was placed quickly and was assured it would be out "soon." I took my seat to listen to a good guitarist with better backing tracks fighting a losing battle with the impending headache forming at the back of my skull. At the 10 minute mark I considered ordering a drink to silence my inner voice of doubt telling me I should have just gone to Chick-fil-a but surely my food would be out "soon." At the 20 minute mark, the guitarist stopped his set to take a break as I watch other patrons receive their food and drinks after I had ordered. I could only assume extra time and attention was being used for me. Perhaps they needed to grind the sausage in the back before cooking and serving it for my order. Perhaps they had to pluck all those fresh chicken wings. Maybe they were harvesting the onion in real time to deliver it to me. My orders surely not just food, but a statement of art and love too beautiful for human consumption. My excited and eagerness grew until the 30 minute mark when a different server asked if I had been helped. Was my order lost? Had I been forgotten? Maybe they weren't freshly grinding my sausage dog after all! Everything seemed to be ok because after I said I had a to go order, she never returned to give me an update. I had considered resting my eyes, which became increasingly difficult after the guitarists mandatory rendition of "Sweet Caroline" at the 45 minute mark. That's when the angel from the kitchen appeared, bag in hand. My expectations: high My anticipation: at a fever pitch My hunger: endless My reason to give my wife for taking so long: formulating I smiled and took the bag eagerly to my car to drive the 5 minutes to my house to enjoy this meal clearly crafted with an artist's hand and a mother's heart. ...the first words my wife spoke regarding her hot dawg was "weird" My sausage dog was serviceable, the wings were serviceable, the onion rings were also....serviceable. As I sat on my couch ignoring survivor, trying to enjoy the food I waited an entire set to receive, and holding back a primal scream regarding my 6am call time; a single tear fell down my cheek in my sheer disappointment and defeat from this experience. Maybe I'll go back when I'm not coming from work, and have no where to be urgently, and there isn't entertainment, and can order food in my third Jack and Coke. I really do want to try one of the great hot dogs I've been hearing about.
