Perhaps I shouldn't have read the hype before eating here. Don't get me wrong, my wife and I enjoyed our breakfast sandwiches. Where this fell down to us was in the baked goods... including the "English muffin" on which the sandwich was based. Let's start with the good things... the service was fast and friendly. Clearly all the ingredients were high quality. Everything looked beautiful in the display window. The eggs were perfectly scrambled. Light, fluffy, moist, and held together with just the right amount of rich cheddar cheese. And, the Bacon was great ... thick, just the right amount of crispy and chewy. The English muffin was disappointing; dry, dense, heavy and overly chewy. It's almost as if the dough didn't have a chance to rise fully, it was made with too little water, and it was undercooked. It was so dense that the smooth interior faces of the muffin didn't even do a good job of holding the sandwich together. Sauce dripped, eggs fell out. Even the thick bacon slid around, almost escaping being bitten into. This wasn't the only baking concern we had with Ophelia. We also picked up a mango filled "summer special" (doughnut) and a piece of "Pistachio Berry Toast". The doughnut filling was wonderful.. rich, sweet mango. The doughnut itself was surprisingly dry and dense. Then there's the reason we just don't care to return to Ophelia... the pistachio berry "toast". First, there was nothing toasted about this dense slab that most resembled pound cake... yes, pound cake. Dry, tasteless, and completely underwhelming. It's difficult to identify the makeup of the "pistachio" topping... and it certainly lacked flavor. The berries were flat, desiccated berries on top. All was covered with a thin dusting of confectioners sugar. Definitely nothing to have again. We also had a cortado and a matcha latte. All told, the cost of this trailer-in-a-parking-lot quick breakfast was $57 including a 20% tip that we added. There are no picnic tables or benches around, so we ate in the car. By the time we left there was a line of over 25 people, and more streaming in. When we arrived at 7:45 AM Saturday there were only three people ahead of us. So, either the hype is still pulling in new unsuspecting customers, or this was a really "off" day for the quality of the baked goods. read more

Came for the bacon, egg, and cheese... and left thinking about that banana cookie all day. The sandwich was exactly what I needed. It was warm, savory, and satisfying. But the banana cookie? Easily one of the best cookies I've had in a long time. It had that perfect crisp, crunchy texture (which I love), with great flavor and just the right amount of sweetness. I wasn't expecting it to steal the show, but it absolutely did. I'll be back just to work my way through the rest of their baked goods. I also tried the oat milk matcha latte with honey lavender. The cutest coffee trailer! I love the pastry window, it's such a unique concept. I came late in the day around 1 p.m. and all of the pastries were sold out. Ophelia is in a big parking lot off Dixie Highway. We had no problem finding parking on a busy afternoon. The employees explained that they typically have breakfast sandwiches and pastries, but they sell out pretty early so it's best to come early. I tried a brown sugar latte and olive oil bread. Both were delicious. The coffee was pretty strong so I recommend asking for it sweeter if you don't like strong coffee. We waited around 15 minutes for our drinks. The first time I enjoyed it a bit more as the muffin was more toasted. The second time the bread was a little too soft with no crunch. The eggs, cheese and house made sauce are truly delicious. This place is the most legit. It's so tiny and 4 people making and heating food and coffee drinks in there. All. The items we had were delish. The breakfast Sammy is so yummy. That muffin is soft and buttery and the eggs are so fluffy. The spread adds the right touch to it with acid and it's really one of the best breakfast sams I've had. You have to come early on weekends like around 9 am otherwise everything will be gone (except the drinks). I've ordered their cinnamon rolls, banana bread cookie, their breakfast Sammy and oat milk vanilla latte. The Latte and cookie are good. The breakfast Sammy is regular though when paired with hot sauce it's fire . The staff is very courteous. I had the pleasure of being introduced to their carrot cake at the eatscon festival. I've been trying to get to this food truck for months and finally was able to try their coffee and pastries and now I know why there is so much hype about it. It really deserves full praise and full stars because everything that we tried on the menu was perfect. Our wait time on a Saturday afternoon wasn't very long. I believe it was maybe 30 or an hour before closing that we got there so I guess we were lucky because we've heard that the weights are really long. My favorite of all was the bacon flatbread. It's too die for. Surprisingly the kougin Aman with guava was not as good as I thought it was gonna be. The chocolate chip cookies are also to die for. Pretty close to becoming my new favorite. I was dying to try Ophelia because i love the little truck concept and branding. Everything is so cute. I went on a saturday morning and of course it was PACKED. I did not appreciate the long line - it took me around 25 minutes to order + 20 to get my order which kinda kills the "grab and go" concept. I also wish they had at least a few benches for us to wait. Because of that i removed a star. Except from the line factor, the experience was great. My Iced Vanilla Latte was 10/10 and the breakfast sandwich IS definitely worth ALL the hype. I'm not usually a breakfast sammy girl, but it was so warm, fresh, tasty and the bacon was sooo CRISPY! Breakfast Sandwich Perfection in a Stand Alone Trailer. I had heard about Ophelia through social media and since it was near the house I wanted to check it out. Located in a parking lot on US1 and near sw 22nd street, this little trailer is bursting with flavor. I must admit that I drove past it the first time and had to loop around so be forewarned its hard to spot. But while I was there people kept coming and coming so obviously the word is out. I arrived early and they had a full lineup but I've heard if you come later some items usually run out. I ended up ordering the breakfast sandwich with bacon, the cinnamon roll, the banana bread, the guava kuig and the olive oil cake. All the baked goods were delicious. I would say the guava kuig which had cardemom was probably my top baked item. I've never had guava with cardemom before and honestly i was skeptical. But it acted as a perfect balance to the sweetness of the Guava. I was truly impressed. But as for the star of the show, the breakfast sandwich. The key is the perfect execution of each simple ingredient. Starting with the bread. The muffin felt homemade and it was toasted to perfection. The eggs were super soft and fluffy. The bacon was the perfect thickness and the garlic spread was just the added touch to bring everything together in one perfect bite. It's definitely a 10 out of 10. I would easily come back for this alone. Staff were super nice and answered my questions. Definitely a homey vibe. The olive oil cake with blueberry compote was absolutely to die for, rich but perfectly balanced. The pistachio raspberry muffin, however, was a letdown. It was dry, crumbly, and lacking flavor, definitely something I would not order again. The vibe: This place gets very busy and there is always a bit of a wait, but the line moves quickly. Unfortunately, there is no seating so you are left to eat in your car or standing outside in the Florida heat which takes away from the experience.
